Here is something I never understood, I beat the Elite Four, and their champion, and became their champion, right? That was how it was worded in the R/B/Y games, so then why am I not in the Elite Four Champion's room battling trainers trying to become the Champion?! EDIT: Due to repeated comments, I am putting the first one and my response in the first post. Luther Olathes Because then the game would be stuck in a pointless loop. There is more to do in the game than to beat the Elite Four. Plus, they add in so many bonus stories to the game after you beat the Elite Four. If you were in the Champion room battling trainers, you would not be able to do all the other things in the pokemon world. In other words, it defeats the purpose of the game. Nuh-uh! They could have a pokemon teleport you when you are needed to fight! And it would be mandatory >.> Until you lost the Champion title, but you can get it back again by beating the Elite Four and the new Champion again

The whole point of the game is to explore the Pokemon world and go through new adventures.The game's purpose isn't about keeping a champion title.

Hehe, I know what you mean, but the game would be no fun if you were stuck in a room waiting for months to have someone get to the level you are (Well, you rarely hear anyone in the game say they've versed the champion)
But it would be cool if people reckonised you as the champion instead of the normal trainer like you're nothing though. (I wanna be a celebrity!)

Sakesumaru The whole point of the game is to explore the Pokemon world and go through new adventures.The game's purpose isn't about keeping a champion title. The game didn't used to be about appearances, and now there is Beauty contests So I don't see your point?

How would you know when to teleport? You don't have a mobile or anything to tell you. Someone would have to come after you and that would be a waste of time. The only time you could do that is maybe in Emerald/Saphire/Ruby. Still, the game is as fun as it gets! Why do you want to add something that really doesn't do much? The champion gets stronger in time anyways so that should be some what of a challenge for you. And also, if you want a challenge, just verse people here on wifi! Or if you don't have wifi, just verse the computers in the battle frontier.

You wouldn't, some pokemon at random times would either tell you you are needed (giving you time to switch pokemon and heal up and stuff) or just automatically teleport you there and you would have to use a healing station like at one of the old professor's lab and there would be access to the front room's PokeMart if you need items

My opinion is you should be able to be the champ. They could use the phone as they do in pokemon Gold and Silver to call if you had a battle. And if you went though the e4 again then you could battle yourself from the last time you won the league.
