 Kaoru had left her den and walked off into the forest, she came upon a stream and dipped down to take a drink from the clear crisp water. She had been thinking alot about how much Avenue had hurt her, but most of all how he hurt their kits, but right now she tried to put that out of her mind as she drank some water. She brought her head up and looked at the sunlight in the sky, the rays floating softly in the filter of the tree branches. She sat down enjoying the quiet nature and peace around her thinking of taking care of her kits, thats what she was concerned about as he she sat calmly by the stream. Soon she wanted to find someone that would love her for her and be there for her when she need him. She had so many thoughts in her head even though she tried not to think about her broken heart.

 Karen was walking to the stream when he saw a very pretty fox standing there. he stopped and watched as she started to drink. then he started towards her but then she stopped drinking and looked aroundand he hid behind a near by bush.he didnt know if this fox was friendly or not but he didnt want to just walk up on her so he decided to wait and see what she was going to do next.

Kaoru heard the slightest noise but was not scared, she turned around and looked into the woods. Flicking her tail back and forth gently she lightly sniffed the air and could smell another fox. She sat down and spoke "Hello? I won't bite, is someone there?"

Karen slowly stepped out of the bushes and walked over to here. " hello my name is Karen. do you live near here?"

seeing the handsome fox step out from behind the tree she blushed a little and said "yes a little ways that way" pointing to the area behind her. "Its nice to meet you Karen, my name is Kaoru"

She blushed 'such a gentlemen she thought' "um well thats very nice of you but I came out here to relax, I am just enjoying nature" she bit her lip wondering if he might like to go on a walk with her.

" Ok." he said looking around. " then would you like to go for a walk?" he said hoping she would say yes he really like her she seemed nice and he wanted to get to know more about her.

She blushed "Yes I would love to go for a walk" she breathed in the fresh air happily.

He slowly got up and lead the way into the woods." Whats your favorite thing to eat?" he asked with a smile.

As she followed him a familiar feeling came over her, like when her and Avenue had first met, but she shook it out of her head. It was not the time to think about her first love because she had to go on with her life, they would never be and so now she was with this kind handsome fox she needed to stop thinking about the past. Shaking her head she caught up with him and said "oh well um my favorite thing to eat? well I like fish but then again i like rabbit too, even the occasional berry and your self?" Her thick English accent slightly echoing in the silence of the forest.

She was trying very hard to pay attention but it was hard when your heart was hurting so, but she told her self to stop letting her past get her down, she was a young single mother and right now there was a handsome fox with manners and he was so kind. She really did like him and she wanted to get to know him. She smiled at him giving him her undivided attention, pushing the thoughts of her first love into the back of her mind. She said oh ok, yeah its like the same for me" she smiled again her green eyes glittering in the rays of light shinning through the tree's.

he saw the sun in her eyes and thought that they looked like emeralds shimmering in the sun. "you have very pretty eyes" he said with a smile.

blushing she looked at him "thank you, that's very kind of you" her blush still remaining on her cheeks, she continued to walk with him not saying how handsome she thought he was. She really wanted to but she didn't want things to move to fast, she was still licking her wounds from the last time.
