The temperate climate and warm (albeit creepy) sun is complimented by a nice breeze that rolls past, ruffling the grass and wildflowers as it goes. You can barely see some mountains and trees in the distance over the extensive, empty plains.
You get terrible cell phone reception out here.
This area is enormous, you probably won't run into anyone else out here.

When they arrived at Death City train station, they had been admitted, and were seated as soon as they were brought to the second cart.
Nora sat down from across Marcus and smiled as she looked out the window, "I wonder how long we're going to stay in here?" she asked, making herself comfortable as everyone was being seated and role was taken.

 MARCUS FAUST Strength is not in defense... Marcus smiled sitting down across from Nora, he immediately starting looking out the window, anxious to watch the scenery, "I actually hope it lasts a while, trains are so fun in that you get to watch the landscape..." He gave out a sigh as he tried to piece together a way he could mix guitar parts into her music, would she be able to sing it with the guitar? Would it even help? ...but in ATTACK!!

"Yeah," said Nora as she looked out into the town. She was going to miss Death City. Despite being there for a short while, she had somehow grown attached to it... Especially having it different from her home town in Ghent.
Belgium was a very cheerful place for her to grow up in, but it was a bit too calm for her tastes. She... she wanted something unstable. Something wild...
... Like an adventure...

MARCUS FAUST Strength is not in defense... Marcus sat focused on the scenery that was jetting by their eyes. "Look, you can see all the way to the plateaus over there..." He said pointing off into the distance. He turned his head to notice her thinking, was she thinking about the mission? "Hey, what you thinking about?"...but in ATTACK!!

"Huh? Oh, n-nothing," smiled Nora as she blushed a bit, "I-I was just thinking about Belgium was all. My parents are over there. And I got a postcard 3 days ago about how my baby brother was born. Th-They named him Joshua. I hope th-they send me a picture of him soon," said Nora hopefully. Then peered out into the plateau and smiled,
"When I was coming over here from Belgium, I was quite amazed to see one for the very first time... I had always been used to quiet, subtle buildings and the locks and bridges of Ghent..."
Her face then brightened and turned her attention to Marcus as she folded her hands on her legs, "U-Um... Wh-What's it like in V-Vegas?"

MARCUS FAUST Strength is not in defense... Marcus gave a warm smile, and thought back to a happier time when his parents were still alive, Nora was lucky, she had been given the best present a parent could give. "I never had a brother... My mom never got the chance to have him..." His smile was still there somehow, he continued, "but they are in a better world now, I guess..."He turned his look back outside, they were actually able to see faint lights of Las Vegas in the distance. He gave a chuckle as Nora mentioned the city, "Its bright, loud, and chaotic... I love it... We should go sometime and sightsee."...but in ATTACK!!

"..." Nora fell silent for a while and stared at the ground as she thought about what had happened to him and his parents...
And his little brother... She couldn't imagine... the feeling he must've felt losing them all...
She knew there was no way, no possible solution for him to forgive her and her kind for what they had done to him. What they had taken from him. But... She wanted to at least try and understand what pain he must've felt and what hatred he must harbor for her, and her religion.
He may hate her. For something she did not do. And he may not value her life as much as she did his, but that still gave her no right to hate him.
He was her partner. Her weapon. And her only friend so far. She'd do anything to keep that relationship in tact.
"I would love to go," smiled Nora as she gazed out into the distance of lights and flashes of 'Las Vegas', "I've seen pictures of it, and it looks like fun."

MARCUS FAUST Strength is not in defense... Marcus watched as she fell silent when he mentioned his family, was he making her feel guilty? He reached his hand to the base of her chin bringing her face up to look at his, "I don't blame you for what happened to my parents..." He followed this up with a nice smile, as he got back to the subject of Vegas. "Well, when I eat Buffalo Bill's soul we should go to celebrate..."...but in ATTACK!!

Nora put a smile on her face and shook her head, "N-No. Th-That's alright. Y-You said you hated the religion was all. Th-That's fine. I... I was never fond of mine was all. To be honest, I was embarassed by it. Everyone would make fun of me in school because I worshipped a different religion. N-Not that that stopped me from reading the Tanakh. I was still very devoted into the belief of Judaism, but I still got alot of..."
She had to take a deep breath on this one, "... 's**t' at school. They didn't want to play with me because I was a Jew. I didn't mind it at first, but then I started to get very angry with how they were treating me. Eventually, I just stopped going to school and took up home-schooling. And that was that. Although, my parents kept pressuring me with my studies, so that led me into leaving Belgium to go to the United States to study abroad," she explained, putting her hand on her chin as she stared out into the desert, "Seems like all I do is runaway now a days... I can't stand it."

MARCUS FAUST Strength is not in defense... Marcus's smile faded into a frown, "I'm not very good with making people feel good when it comes to situations like that with words... But, I can say that you don't need to run anymore, cause I'll help ya!" He said changing the frown back into a smile and looking out the window once more. ...but in ATTACK!!

Nora stayed silent for a while as he said this and shook her head as she smiled, "N-No, it's alright. I'm not very good at finding solutions either..." said Nora as she stared at her hands for a while.
"I won't have much to worry about with you around, Marcus. I-I know I won't. Y-You're my friend, right?" asked Nora in a soft voice as she turned to look out the window again.
Anything to keep that smile present on her face. She had to keep smiling. Let him know everything was alright. She'd be fine.
So long as he was there, she'd be alright. Right?

MARCUS FAUST Strength is not in defense... Marcus nodded in agreement, "of course we are friends..." He said without moving his gaze from outside the window, he loved watching as the terrain changed the farther east they went, currently the trees were becoming more and more abundant. He gave a smile as well, thinking of their first mission. As a couple minutes passed in silence a stewardess stopped by them and asked, "Excuse me, are you two wanting anything to eat?"...but in ATTACK!!

Sadly, she knew she was lying. She was starving. But she HAD been gaining weight over the past few weeks. She thought it'd be best for her to cut back on the sweets. Get on a diet rather than continue to indulge on her favorite cookies and breads...
"Would you like anything Marcus?" she asked, trying to appear happy as she kicked her feet against the floor.
