For Miscreant74's birthday party we'll be dice rolling! To increase your chances of winning, post often in the thread! (Remember there is no limit to how many times you can post & roll!) But please post more than just emoticons.
Winners for the party are announced on the day following the end of the party.
The Prize Giveaways will depend on attendance.
Just be the first to roll an 11 or 73 on (4) 20 -sided dice and you will win!!
*If there are less than 10 pages, then the value of the prize giveaway will be between 4,000 and 8,000 gold.
*If it is in excess of 20 pages the prize giveaway will be around the 20,000 mark.
In excess of that.......you could be in for a great prize!
For every individual party that goes in excess of 100 pages and has more than 50 people in attendance, that party thread will also contain a random giveaway for every 25 pages!!
So please come join us and most important - TAKE THE POLL at the top of the page; we are counting heads so we know how big the prizes will be!

Palladium Books Palladium Books was begun by a gamer, Kevin Siembieda, who was frustrated by having to adapt new games or supplements from one system to another because no games used exactly the same rules. He decided that “if I ever did roleplaying games I'd create 'one' basic set of rules that could be used in every possible genre." Everyone told him that science fiction & fantasy could not be mixed together, but he was already doing that in his gaming campaigns.
In 1981 Palladium released its first game, The Mechanoid Invasion. In 1983 they released the Palladium Role Playing Game, which was their fantasy world. In 1984 they branched out to superheroes with the release of Heroes Unlimited.
In 1985 the company got its first megahit with the RPG from the comic book Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. They signed the license as the 3rd issue of the comic book was coming out. They kept the license for TMNT for the next 16 years & released several supplements related to it. Palladium has sold over 165,000 copies of the TMNT RPG, not counting all the supplements. Kevin helped with TMNT going mainstream, but this eventually hurt the comic books & RPG’s. Most of the gamers & comic book buyers got turned off of TMNT because they became too “kiddified” as they became toys & cartoons aimed at young children.
That same year GURPS (Generic Universal Role Playing System) was introduced by Steve Jackson Games, GURPS usually gets the credit of being the first universal game system, but Palladium had already been releasing universal system books for 5 years.

In 1986 Kevin finally watched an anime that a friend had told him about that he thought would adapt for the Palladium Game System. It didn’t take long for Kevin to contact Harmony Gold, the company that produced & licenses Robotech. He made his pitch to them. But found out that Steve Jackson Games was already in negotiations with them & was expected to sign the contract that afternoon. Kevin asked them to call if Steve Jackson should turn it down. Later that afternoon he was called back because the deal fell though & it was his if he still wanted it. In November 1986 they released the Robotech RPG (Book One: Macross), which has sold over 100,000 copies. Several supplements have been published including: The RDF Manual, The Zentraedi, Southern Cross & Invid Invasion.
In 1988 they published the first contemporary horror RPG with Beyond the Supernatural. Also in 1988 they released Robotech II: The Sentinels on videocassette, this was a first for an RPG company.
The company has had its ups & downs, they were shaken a few years ago by an internal problem. The year of Treachery (as it is called) had Kevin make a plea to his fans & they continue to support him as the company tries to rebuild. This year will be the 30th Anniversary for the company.
The company has moved several times, but still calls Michigan home. A few years ago they started doing an open house once a year, where you can join a role playing session with the creator & writers of the books.

Rifts 1990 saw the release of the Rifts Role-Playing Game. The original working title for the game was Boomers, because of the glitter boys & their boom guns. The first printing of Rifts was 10,000 copies which sold out in 3 weeks. Palladium Books has published many different genres over the years. Pretty much no matter what you are looking for you can find it. Here is a general overview of the different settings & series that Palladium has to offer.
Palladium Fantasy - druids, magic users, fighters any of the stuff you loved about D&D is here.
Hereos Unlimited - if you ever wanted to play a superhero try this book. HU series also includes: Villains Unlimited & Aliens Unlimited.
Beyond the Supernatural - Horror RPG, Carl Kolshak meets the Ghostbusters without the campy-ness.
Ninjas & Super Spies, & Mystic China - Do I really need to explain this one.
System Failure - The Y2K bugs are going strong & popping out of your outlets, Earth is invaded by other dimensional bugs who come through our computers & electrical systems.
Splicers - Host with bio-enhanced armor fighting against Android & Robot Legions for the survival of Mankind.
Night bane - if you like the movie Night Breed you will love this RPG.
Dead Reign - the Zombie Apocalypse.
The Rifter - is the quarterly magazine full of new suggestions for GM's, new classes for players, stories & tons of information. April will be the 50th issue of the Rifter.
Chaos Earth - it is the apocalypse, play as the world is being changed. After Chaos Earth time comes the 200 years of dark ages & then on to Rifts time.
Rifts - is the main series & it includes technology & magic. So far there are over 30 World books & over 10 Dimensional books & many source books. This is the system where a caveman with a stone club could defeat a suit of Power Armor because the great equalizer of magic is on the caveman's side.
Rifts Earth is the crossroad world, with the addition of conversion books you can travel time & dimension (ie: other books of the system), go to angelic or demonic domains, or ride Dinosaurs through a mega city. Feel like shopping how about visiting Atlantis & go to there trans-dimensional market.
Tired of New York & California, well NY become a mutant filled insane asylum (MadHaven) & most California is underwater.
Or if you want pre-historic try the South Eastern part of the US, which has become a Dinosaur Swamp.
Mexico is vampire infested, while most of Europe has been taken over by Gargoyles. The old Pharaohs have returned to Egypt & King Arthur reigns again in England. Atlantis is steeped in magic & rose up flooding many lands, it is ruled by the Splugorth who will sell anything to anyone for the right money.
If you get tired of Earth there are also other dimensions to visit.
Wormwood - a living planet, an actual living organism with skin & everything. Holy Knights fighting the Hellish Hord.
Skraypers - Blade Runner meets Star Wars.
So many different places to visit, but I think you get the idea.
