Info of treasure hunting, cause I'm almost done with all of the TH quests, so I'm here to help! smile All of this is done on my free time while doing a treasure hunting quest, descriptions of the items I had to do all on my own. Everything takes time, and time takes while smile

Treasure Hunting: Treasure Hunting in freedom 1 you need a partner
Treasure Hunter in Unite and Freedom 2 you can do on your own or with a partned, but its a 2 hunter limit.
I will give a few good and brief summary of treasure hunting in Freedom2 and Unite.
During TH, items you carve and gather from normal monsters and gather are different from a normal quest. Things are different and you don't know what to expect. There isn't any award for completing the TH list on you guild card, but its great to show off your hard work, cause not many hunters treasure hunt. (am I right? razz )
When you TH use armor with good skills, not defense. Use backpacking (for the rare items that needs to be carried) use quick gathering (so you can have time for more treasures) fishing expert (for getting rare fishes) Good luck (to get the things you need, which will kinda help wink )
You can't bring anything during a TH quest, but when you do the quest always get the essentials (Pickaxe, bugnet, farcaster and mega juice) Travel light!!! About 40% of 100% of the area will be blocked by breakable rocks. Use hammers, hunting horns, gunlace, heavy bowgun and bombs!
What else can I mention *looks at PSP* oh yes, the scores!
To get a gold crown have more then 30000 pts (from mountains-desert)
To get a gold crown have more than 40000 pts (from swamp-Grt forest)

Treasure in the Snowy Mountains
Monsters to expect: Giaprey, Giadrome, anteka, blango, popo, anteka
Rare Treasures to go on your guild card:
-Blngonga Apple: White apple that grows in areas of heavy snowfall. Quite juicy. (rare-6)
-Pokke Quartz: Said to bring its owner good luck. Feels cold to the touch. (rare-6)
-Pokke Snowman: Made in the pokke style. A truw marvel of natural engineering. (rare-7) (combine with blngo blzrd ball + blngo flrry ball)
-Elder Dragon Tears: An unknown mass that is said to be eder dragon tears.
(rare-7)
-Giadrome Jewel: A rarely formed jewel from inside a Giadrome. Truly exquisite. (rare-8 )
Other Treasures (will not appear on your guild card):
Embroidered flag: A guild f**, if places on the summit of the mountain...
Small wyvernfish: Species of rare fish said to be a living fossil. A bit of a runt.
Pickaxe fish: A fresh fish that can be used as a pickaxe.
Medium wyvernfish: Species of rare fish said to be a living fossil. Needs growth.
Hard Dragonrock: Hard dragonrock of high quality. Finding this is very difficult.
Blngo Flrry Ball: Snowball thrown by a blango. Looks like a face...
Frozen Meatball: Frozen meat of an ancient monster. You must try it once.
Giadrome Thigh: The thigh meat of a giadrom. Great boiled or baked.
Green fin: Crest of the giadrome. The shade of green determines its value.
Dragonite (L): A rarely formed large stone from inside a monster.
Dragonite (S): A rarely formed small stone from inside a monster.
Wyvern Grass: A type of grass loved by herbivores. Incredibly adaptive.
Furiamond: Ore mined from the fury mountains. Unbreakably strong. Rathalos Fly: The red body is the defining point of this wyvern fly.
Lady Mackerel: A mackerel with elegant scales. Finicky when eating bait.

Treasure in the Jungle
Monsters to expect: Vespoids, Yian Kut-ku, velociprey, bullfango
Rare Treasures to go on your guild card:
-Angler Snapper: A phantom fish said onu to appear before a true angler. (rare-6)
-Cleopatris: A star among insects. Its antennae evoke oriental beauty. (rare-6)
-Felyne Crown: Proof of the king of beast. Bow before its bearer. (rare-7) (combine Inferior flyn crown + Flyn crwn frgmt)
-Lao Shan Melon: An incredibly enormous melon. It is a high class gift. (rare-7)
-Kut-Ku Jewel: A rarely formed jewel from inside a Kut-ku. An ultimate item. (rare-8 )
