These grounds are specifically for Squad 8 to practice the various techiniques you know as a shinigmai. It is an open feild with various traget and equipment for you to use as you please. There is always more and you can use as much as you want.

Majin Ulrich had placed three dummies side by side each other. Then he quickly draws his Zanpakuto and at the same time lops the dummies heads off. After he sheathed his sword he thought "I know I have already mastered Zanjutsu but I still need to keep my skills sharp. Although, maybe working on my physical stamina and kido could help too." He sat down and went through the kido spells he could use in his head and tried to remember the incantations.

Si walked into the training grounds and looked around, he didn't see much of anything, mostly quiet and empty, mostly the way he liked it.
"Ah, nothing but myself here to train."
He removed his sword and began practicing on the air, his agility needed some work, so he had to make it more acute.
"I hope that I can at least master some agility techniques, if not, I'm just a waste."
He said with a laugh then carried on.

 It is through skill that we fightNodding towards him Yukito addressed him in a formal tone appropriate for their rank ”Well met, Lieutenant Yamazaki.” pausing for a brief moment to decide, Yukito nodded once more at Daichi’s suggestion ”Yes, that is appropriate. Now, excuse me, I will go ahead of us to prepare the area. I hope to see you soon there, Lieutenant Yamazaki.” with that he started to walk out of the room, before disappearing once he was behind Daichi. Yukito thought that Daichi needed some time to prepare for their duel, though, he debated with himself for a bit whether or not he had actually come to his office already prepared, but he decided to play it safe nonetheless.
Arriving at the training grounds, the squad member who say him arrive lowered his head to show him respect ”Captain Shun, hello, sir.” spoke the Shinigami ”Greetings, which area in the grounds is vacant for training?” inquired Yukito, as the training grounds was indeed quite vast. Bowing to his Captain before turning around to look over a map of the area, the Shinigami spoke ”Area 06 seems to be vacant, sir. It’s to the far east from here.” nodding towards him Yukito replied ”Very well, thank you. Inform Lieutenant Yamazaki that our spar will be located there.” spoke Yukito before once again disappearing from the location.
Arriving at the area, Yukito close his eyes as he meditated for a brief moment while waiting for his Lieutenant. The clash between them would prove to be a valuable training exercise for both of them.It is through unity that we win

Daichi arrived at the training grounds and was quickly addressed by another shinigami in their division. "Captain Yukito is waiting for you in Area 06." He said as he then turned around and continued to his duties. Daichi replied with a slight grin becoming more and more anxious to fight his captain. He knew this was going to be one of his greatest fights and didnt waste any time to head for that specific training ground.
Upon reaching Area 06, he noticed Yukito meditating which gave Daichi the impression that he was somewhat late. "This must be what he does everytime before a fight, I'll just wait for him to be ready." He whispered walking over to the wall, leaned up against it, and folded his arms while lowering his head and closing hsi eyes.

However, the problem was exactly where he was. Since she had basically done all that was required of her in terms of taking care of her Squad, she thought she’d just catch a quick break and see him. Seeing that Yukito’s Lieutenant was heading off in a particular direction, she waved to the other member of the division to tell him that she was fine and didn’t need directions. For a short while, she quietly followed him, keeping a far distance between them so that she didn’t look like she was stalking him for one reason or another. However, she had to admit that she was somewhat disappointed when she came upon Yukito finally, only to see him meditating. He hadn’t done that before their own battle, but that was most likely due to the fact that she had been earlier than him.
His Lieutenant had closed his eyes as well, apparently waiting for Yukito to get up or finish whatever. Rolling her eyes, she suppressed a sigh. She had been intending to come out here to see people fighting or catch up with people, not watch them sleeping. Stalking over to Yukito, she hit him on the side of his head to rouse him – not hard enough to hurt, but strong enough that he might become slightly unbalanced. She put her hands on her hips, before cocking her head to one side as she looked at him. “I thought I’d come and see what you’re doing, Shun-Taichō and funnily enough, you’re not really doing anything at the moment,” she said in a calm voice, with a small amount of playfulness in her voice as she crossed her arms, looking at him with a raised eyebrow.

It is through skill that we fightTaking notice of Daichi’s arrival, Yukito half-opened one of his eyes to take note of his Lieutenant, he would end or continue his meditation depending on his reaction. Seeing as how he was content on waiting for him, Yukito went back to his meditation, a bit thankful that his Lieutenant exercised correct etiquette as was proper. Yukito was taught to meditate before every battle, and though this was the first time he had done so in the training area itself, Yukito decided it was acceptable as Daichi seemed to be quite alright with it. Feeling his body and mind grow calmer by the second, Yukito was rudely interrupted from his trance by a most unexpected knock on the head by Shizuka. In truth, Yukito was more accustomed to being interrupted by Kasumi, as his zanpakuto spirit was terrible at simply staying in one place, he had never been interrupted by any other outside force, this shock caused him to abruptly turn around to face his assailant, genuinely surprised by Shizuka’s appearance in front of him.
Listening to her talk for a moment, Yukito scratched his head before standing back up, fixing his zanpakuto after doing so. Nodding to Shizuka, Yukito spoke ”A pleasure to meet you as well, Captain Hatomi.” Yukito spoke, before waving his hand towards Daichi ”This is Lieutenant Daichi Yamazaki, my lieutenant. Lieutenant Yamazaki, this is Captain Shizuka Hatomi.” continued Yukito, opting to introduce them to each other first, before anything else. Slowly walking over to his position in the battle field, Yukito finally commented on Shizuka’s statement ”In truth I was simply meditating, Captain Hatomi, as is proper before a battle.” just as he finished he was already in his place, waiting for Daichi to assume his place ”Though, it is the first time I have done so in the battle area itself. Perhaps it was folly for me to do so, in any case, Lieutenant Yamazaki and I are scheduled for a spar. But it is rude for me to ignore a guest, is there anything I can do for you before my spar starts, Captain Hatomi?” It is through unity that we win

His formal tone made her suppress a sigh, as Shizuka herself was more informal and preferred to use casual terms as much as possible. However, she had heard about the fact that he had apparently been part of nobility and that would explain everything about him. Seeing that Yukito, for some strange reason, had decided to introduce her to his Lieutenant before saying anything about what she had said, she smiled kindly at Daichi, nodding in acknowledgement as she said casually, “Well, it’s nice to meet you, Yamazaki-Fukutaichō,” As he responded, a smirk appeared on her face as she twirled a strand of her black hair around her finger. “Sometimes it might be dangerous to meditate in a battle area, since you never know when something unexpected might happen,” while her voice implied that there was a mystery in what she was saying, she kept her face perfectly straight.
She stifled a yawn behind her hand, stretching her arms before crossing them again. “Nah, there’s nothing much that you can do for me, I thought I’d just catch a break from paperwork before I have to start all over again.” she paused, letting Yukito’s information sink into her before she continued, “A spar with Yamazaki-Fukutaichō, eh? That’ll be interesting to see, I’d think. Well, don’t mind me, continue with what you were doing! I think I’ll just watch this. We never finished our spar after all, Shun-Taichō, and perhaps I’ll pick up some tips along the way for our next one, if there is one.” Flashing a smile at Yukito, she turned around, walking a few steps away so that she would give them enough room to fight in before stopping and settling herself down in a lotus position, her hand holding up her head as she waited for them to begin.

Daichi sensed a presence while he waiting for his captain to finish his meditation but paid it no attention for the presence he felt didnt feel like it was going to cause any harm. "This fight is gonna be very interesting. I wonder how powerful his shikai is let alone his bankai." He smirked slowly opening his eyes once he heard Yukito introduce the presence he felt earlier to him. "Hey." He responded with a quick wave of his left hand and removed himself from against the wall walking towards the two.
"Captain Hatomi, will you be watching us spar? I can promise you it will be worth your while." He smirked quickly glancing at Hatommi until switching over to Yukito. "Whenever your ready Captain. I've got enough rest for the day." Daichi couldnt wait any longer. The anxiety had built too much for him too handle any more and wanted to see them cross swords.

It is through skill that we fightNodding to Shizuka, Yukito responded ”You are more than welcome to stay and watch us, Captain Hatomi, if that is your wish. On another note, it was unfortunate that we were unable to finish out last spar together. If it is alright with you, we can do so once more your schedule would allow it.” after finishing his statement, he shifted in his stance for a bit as his talking had displaced him out of the correct positioning. Hearing Daichi’s words, Yukito nodded to his Lieutenant in response ”Very well, then I shall begin the spar.” with that, Yukito’s hand slowly swept over the hilt of one of his zanpakuto’s twin swords. Drawing it just a little bit, so that the blade peeked out from the scabbard, Yukito pushed himself from the floor, pushing himself forward towards Daichi.
It seemed like Yukito was going in for a straightforward attack, however, on his third step, the Captain suddenly disappeared using Shunpo, reappearing a few feet away from his original location, this time he was slightly towards Daichi’s left field of vision, using Shunpo to instantaneously move diagonally. As he reappeared, he had already drawn the first of his two swords, holding the weapon in his right hand and the scabbard in his left. Then, just as soon as he appeared, Yukito disappeared once more, this time he was now upon Daichi, reappearing just a few inches away from him thrusting the hilt of his scabbard towards Daichi’s face. Meanwhile, he would keep the sword itself tucked behind him, ready to be wielded for a follow-up attack or a counter-attack, depending on Daichi’s reaction to his attack.It is through unity that we win

Daichi was now focused on his task at hand, his squad captain, and the thought of Shizuka being in the area was no longer in his mind. Carefully watching his captain's movements suddenly became a task to him for Yukito's speed was very impressive. As Yukito was approaching Daichi faster and faster he noticed his captain holding one of his zanpaktous as well as its scabbard and grew a small grin on his face. He remained in his current position until he knew when it was exaclty time for him to make his next move as his captain's attack with his scabbard drew closer, Daichi quickly withdrew one of his zanpaktous as well with his left hand and used his right hand to bring up his scabbard against Yukito's scabbard attack.
Kneeling down during hsi counter, he swung around his zanpaktou aiming to cut across Yukito's chest. ((Please excuse my absence, work takes up most of my time))

It is through skill that we fightFeeling the sudden antagonistic force against his scabbard as Daichi successfully countered his attack, as opposed to Yukito’s slight expectation that Daichi would dodge his attack first before counter-attacking, led the Captain to deduce his Lieutenant wasn’t the type to panic under pressure. A trait he admired as it was a soldier was supposed to remain calm under any situation. Catching a glimpse of steel as Daichi’s swept his zanpakuto dangerously close towards his chest, Yukito pushed himself back a few inches, narrowly avoiding getting wounded, though his uniform now had a tear in it.
Though he could’ve stepped back a safer distance away, anything more than a few inches would’ve made a counter-attack less effective, as it would give Daichi much more time to react. Thus, as soon as his feet made solid contact with the ground, Yukito twisted his wrist, bringing the tip of his zanpakuto in front of him as he dashed back towards his Lieutenant. The speed at which his counter-attack was executed was admirable, but was also its flaw, as the sword was held rather awkwardly using only one hand, as the other hand still held on to the zanpakuto’s scabbard. However, Yukito hoped his speed would compensate for it, although he was prepared for the worst nonetheless.It is through unity that we win

A small grin grew on his face as he noticed he was able to tear his captain's uniform. Though it wasnt a direct attack like he hoped, he knew he was making some progress and didnt want to waste any time aloswing down.
Judging from a few steps from his opponent, Daichi brainstormed about his captain's next moves and began making a pair of moves of his own. Planting his feet on the ground, the 8th squad lieutenant swung up his left zanpaktou creating an arc of reiatsu heading straight for Yukito. Just a few seconds after the arc was formed, he released his blade throwing it up in the air. "Lets see how this works." He whispered as he shunpoed up in the air catching his left blade and this time swung both swords down on his captain creating dual arcs of reiatsu aiming to come crashing down on his opponent.

It is through skill that we fightNoticing the attack Yukito ceased his attack and allowed his sword to fall from his grip, giving it a slight push with his thumb causing it to revolve around his palm as it fell. When it was completely upside down, he then caught it and aimed it towards the incoming attack. As the blade received the strike, Yukito struck his sword’s back side with the scabbard, causing the attack to dissipate due to the sharp edge of the sword and the added force imparted upon it by the scabbard. Noticing his lieutenant throw his sword into the air and then shunpo towards it, Yukito grabbed his other sword from its scabbard, blocking the dual reiatsu arcs with two blades.
”Not bad.” Yukito commented, releasing his grip, he allowed the scabbard in his hand to fall down to his feet. Without skipping a beat, he skillfully kicked it towards Daichi like one would kick a soccer ball. As the projectile sped towards him, Yukito disappeared from the area, reappearing to an area behind Daichi, but still on the ground. Swiping his sword, he waited for his lieutenant as he assumed his previous stance. At this rate it wouldn’t be long until both of them would be forced to release their respective Shikais, however, Yukito would not make the first move on this matter.It is through unity that we win

Daichi watched as his captain easily canceled out his attack and replied with a simple smile. "Your not so bad yourself captain. It seems our ordinary swordsmanship wont help determine a winner so I think I'll start turning this up." Standing in a normal position with his arms at rest he prepared to release his shikai. "Impale the Skies, Shiro Inazuma"
Seconds later, his dual zanpaktou began to glow and swiftly transform into what soon revealed to be dual handguns, one black and the other red. Spinning both guns with his index fingers, he gripped both of them and pointed the black one at his captain. "Your turn.."
