Dana McZeal was not normally late for class unless it was important. Of course, what she saw as important rarely seemed to fall under her teachers' standards as important, and as the small teen ducked into the room, she ducked her head down and muttered some semblance of an apology even as she scurried to her seat.

Her eyes were glittering.

"Lowel." It was a hiss, and even as she impatiently threw her backpack down, she'd reach to give his long bang a tug as though to make sure he was providing her with every ounce of his attention. "Lowel! Did you see the news?" Clearly she expected him to know exactly what story she was talking about, and without further ado she ripped open her backpack and yanked out a newspaper with great flourish. "Couple claims to have been attacked by a monster downtown, just barely escaped with their lives!"

Unfortunately, she had been forced to speak very loud in order to make sure Lowel understood how dramatic the situation was, and Dana was awarded a detention for her flawless performance.

The girl glowered so deeply that it was surprising her eyes didn't burn holes through the newspaper.

"More monsters, Lowel! Do you think if I snuck out tonight and went downtown, I could find one?" And of course, maybe find a senshi that would swoop down to protect her! She had that starstruck look in her eyes, and sighed to herself even as she propped her elbows up on the desk and proceeded to look rather dreamy. "And then I could be a hero for helping to squash it!" Her gaze snapped back to Lowel, narrowing. "Well? Well?! Say something!"

Dan had apparently been given coffee today.
