not to be rude...but what on Earth (or in the Faerie Realm) was with the title of this post? I thought you were using one of the many codenames for the end of the world... It kinda made me think of Ragnarok... see Norse mythology for details...

In answer to your actual question... my kind don't actually go to get- togethers all that often... ( Unicorn)

I can't help but take some offence to this and get a little defensive. But I'm just simply going to reply with I know what ragnarok is and it surprises me that you don't know what Imbolc is.

I'm Canadian and know what Imbolc is...it really doesn't matter where you're from I don't think but it is more traditionally a celtic holiday. I found the date and meaning for Imbolc in quite a few fae books I was reading. The fairy bible was one of the first ones it mensioned because it had a section dedicated specifically to fae holidays. It's all good I think one of the reasons I got my back all raised was cause I've been having a shitty week so sorry I got a bit defensive there.
