Welcome one, welcome all, to the Dragon Keep's latest contest, schemed up and run by yours truly - Mini! This is my first time really "running" a contest, so I hope everyone likes it and enters. 3nodding We have some really awesome prizes, and lots of 'em, so be sure to thank everyone who donated prizes *cough Willa cough Robynn*!!
~Description of Contests~
Here's how this is going to work. There are three DIFFERENT contests that will be going on at the same time. The first contest is probably the simplest - DICE ROLLING!!! (Whoo-hoo!) Easy enough, right? There are more prizes for this, but they're not as "great" as the prizes for the other two contests.
The second contest is a TekTek contest. As of right now, we will only be accepting the FIRST TEN ENTRIES FOR THE TEKTEK CONTEST!!! Your goal is to make a TekTek Gaia Harry Potter cosplay. This means you want to make a tektek that looks like Dumbledore, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Malfoy... it's your pick. Just make sure you put up a picture of who it is you're cosplaying (though it should be obvious)... and write a little descriptive story, if you feel up to it. 3nodding And PLEASE DON'T CHEAT BY GOING TO TEKTEK AND TYPING IN "HARRY POTTER" IN THE DREAM AVATAR AREA. I mean, I have no way of knowing if you do this, but please just be honest about it. This is all for fun.
And finally, the last contest is... MAKE YOUR OWN HOGWARTS THEMED AVATAR!!! For this, use your OWN AVATAR right here on Gaia. Don't make yourself look like Harry or Hermione, but instead just make someone who looks like they could be a student or a teacher at Hogwarts, or just make someone who can fit into the Harry Potter world. You can be more creative than just a student or teacher at Hogwarts. Remember, there are lots of non-humans in the world of Harry Potter. For example, there are dragon tamers and trainers, merpeople, house elves, Quidditch players... Let your imagination be your guide!!
For this, I'm going to ask that you screen cap a picture of your gaia avatar and post it up here in the thread along with a description of who and what you are. I'll put up an example soon. You get a cookie if you keep yourself looking Harry Potter themed until the end of the contest. ^_~

5) Don't post dragons here... unless your person is a dragon tamer. ^^' Then I guess that's okay.
6) YOU CAN ENTER ALL THREE CONTESTS BUT YOU CAN ONLY WIN ONE OF THEM. That means if you REALLY want to win the TekTek avy contest, you probably shouldn't go posting 500 times rolling dice if you don't really want to win the prizes for the Dice Rolling game. New rule! You can win Dice Roll AND one of the Avatar contests, but not both of the avatar contest. So, for example, killer purple froggy could win the dice roll and the tektek, but she can't win the avatar contest too. I think it's fair because the prizes for the dice roll aren't as nice as the prizes for the other two contests.
7) Voting will decide all the winners. YOU will pick the winners!

How to win:
1) Roll 6 6-sided dice and get a total number less than 10.
2) Roll 6 6-sided dice and get a total number of 14. Winner: Rhindla!
3) Roll 6 6-sided dice and get 3 doubles. (etc. 2, 2, 6, 6, 1, 1) (in any order) Winner: Justicars!
4) Roll 6 6-sided dice and get any quadruple digits (etc. 4, 4, 4, 4, 1, 6) (in any order) Winner: Saanrio!
5) Roll 6 6-sided dice and get 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 (in any order). Winner: Saphiria12!
