 Walking through the now softening soil she headed to the forest's edge. Her tail with it's many roses drug along behind her causing a few petals to fall here and there from a rose. The winter had made the land sleep and now that the sun was starting to warm the earth, she was searching for any rose bushes she could find to possibly look over until they bloomed.

 Hydro stepped through a bush in the forest feeling a little more at ease now that she had been talking to others and had recently gotten very social. Flicking her bright ocean blue tail around, she walked out of the forest looking at the open plain that filled her vision. Sighing softly, she looked around before seeing a female keeping to the edge of the forest making her narrow her eyes a bit. It wasn’t because she was being hateful towards her, but she wanted to see what the specs of red were in her hair. Stepping closer to her, she kept a blank expression that was rather cold, but it was how she was.
“Hello.” She said in a rather pleasant voice although it didn’t seem like it would come from someone with her expression. She scanned the female slowly seeing the roses in her hair making her get tense. She never liked flowers, but it was probably because she either never got them or never was around them often. Living in snow your whole life meant seeing barely any kind of plants life except for trees.

Hearing the greeting, she looked around before spotting her other mare. With a cheerful and friendly expression she perked her ears. "Hello. What brings you out here?" She looked at the markings of the mare with interest before glancing at the horn and smiling brightly. "Oh my.. your horn sure is dazzling." She wasn't homosexual or anything just appreciated the simple beauties that could be found in or on others.

Hydro listened to her and smiled feeling more comfortable to act around the females instead of watching her back when it came to the males. “Nothing really. I was just wandering around like I normally do. How about yourself?” She asked smiling warmly at her as she examined her roses once more never seeing anything like that before. “Oh thank you. I actually like the roses in your hair. It’s rather striking and is something I have never seen before.” She told her still greeting her with a warm smile before moving closer to her. “Do you come from around here?” She asked her kindly before nudging her shoulder gently and was her way of showing affection.

"Thank you." She nodded and smiled at the compliment. Shaking her head softly she smiled. "I'm from a place far off from here.. Been many a day since last I saw it." She'd left her own home long ago in search of adventure and got side tracked. though she'd loved her own home She didn't see herself ever returning to it."

Hydro smiled as she walked over to a tree looking up at the fruit that was softly layered in dew. She plucked off two apples, laying them on the ground before pointing with a hoof down at them. “Here eat.” She told her before smiling some more. “Your welcome.” She said some and took a bite into one of the apples. “Oh I’m sorry to hear that. I hope you get to see it again one day.” She told her as she finished off her apple with ease and smiled some more. “So is there anywhere you want to go right now?” She tilted her head and looked to the female.

"Thanks." Walking over to the remaining apple, she nibbled at it some while she thought. "I'm not sure.. maybe to the beach? maybe some where else?" She gave a small shrug. "Doesn't really matter since I'm just exploring." Looking around she nodded to the east. "How about that way? anything interesting over there?"

Hydro thought about the beach and it was somewhere she never was before. The hotter regions of the world were places she really didn’t travel too and the beach was included. “Sure. I never was there before so it will be a very interesting adventure indeed. Can you direct me there?” She asked of her before smiling and nudging her shoulder gently. “Hmmm not really. It just leads into the forest eventually and then past that is the mountains. Nothing very exciting unless you like the mountains.” She cocked her head and looked away into the horizon wondering if the beach was indeed the way the sun was resting.

"I was rather hoping you could direct me to the beach." She gave a small chuckle. "Of all the places I've roamed around her the beach is one I've yet to go.. though I did hear about it from another." Thinking for a moment she gave a wide grin. "I suppose we could always wander and explore till we do find it though." A glint reached her eyes that showed the joy she had in exploring the unknown.

"The beach...?"
She thought long and hard on her words trying to remember if she even came across a place that resembled a beach. She didn't really like the beach as much as it looked like she would. It was too warm for her, but the ocean was nice to look at. That at least was something worth going to see at the beach.
"I don't remember walking by one, but your right. We can go looking for one."
She gave a nod to her as she flicked her mane over her shoulder a little bit. She could use a friend. Someone that she could walk with and laugh with. It was something she really needed at the moment. Her life wasn't that great to where she could be happy on her own. Two loves lost and two life mates gone. How could something so cruel happen to her? This she didn't know and most of all this changed her a great deal. Being more sensible and wary of stallions now, but mares she was more open with...well just a little bit. Some might say she lost a little of her soul, but that is all open for discussion. Though she did lose a part of herself. Her happiness died the day her mate left her. She didn't know if it would ever be brought back.
She eyed the mare a little bit and smiled very very small.
"Come on...don't want to wander looking all day."
She said to her as he mane fell short over her eyes a bit.

She laughed lightly. "Ah to wander.. You can find so many wonderful things when wandering.. then again I've always had wonder lust." Nodding, she started to wander off some. "Come on, can't stand around forever! well you could... but then eventually your legs would get tired and give in.." She chuckled accidentally stepping on her mane and stumbling.

The blue haired mare looked to the other female and let out a deep sigh. She was right. She couldn't just stand in one spot or she would grow bored so traveling wasn't so bad. Maybe it was better then being the stiff she was slowly turning into?
"Your right. Maybe it's better we travel a little longer since I haven't been getting out much so I need the exercise. Is there anywhere in particular you like to go?"
She asked in a slightly calm voice even though on the inside she was fighting with herself. She was always having internal battle's. It was just how she was now and what became of her.
"I only really like one place, but I feel the conditions may be a little too harsh for you."
She told the mare standing beside her seeing her stumble a little bit.
"Be careful...do you do that often?"
She asked lowering her head a little bit.

Shoshana smiled wide. "Anywhere and every where's fine with me." She gave a small chuckle. Her attention drew to the ground and she smiled once more. "Not as often as one might think.. though every now and then my mane or tail will get stuck in a bush or under my hoof slowing me down.. and I have been known to tangle myself up in it if I'm not paying attention."

The blue haired mare tilted her head to the other unsure of where they were going or where their feet was taking them. She hadn't traveled in such a long time and it felt nice to just walk around for a little bit instead of being cooped up inside all the time. Her mind was still racing though. Thoughts of dread had been clouding her mind lately and there wasn't anything she could do about it. There wasn't much that could be done really. It was something she had to cope with and move on from.
"Alright then we will travel and see where it takes us?"
She said to the other mare keeping her head a little low, but not too low. She needed to see where she was going after all.
"Oh..that sounds a little unpleasant. I'm sure your use to it by now though. Sometimes I wish I had a longer mane. Maybe not as long as yours, but something that can blow in the wind a little more then what mine usually does."
She nodded to the other mare. Hydro never really marveled in anything about herself, but then losing 4 loves and 2 lifemates would do that to you. She didn't feel special or loved. She only felt terrible and hated. She wanted to feel pretty one day and be happy like the mare before her. She didn't know what she could do though.
"You seem very happy and content with yourself...do...do you have a mate?"
Then she asked the question which stained her heart like poison. She felt her heart burn and water fill her eyes a little bit. She didn't want sympathy or pity. She felt like she was the cause of what happened. She felt like she was the one that caused her own distress.
"If you don't want to answer you don't have to.."
She said looking away feeling what little feeling she had in her die right on the spot. She was becoming a hollow shell. Slowly and surely, she was going to be nothing more then a pretty doll seeing the world through a blank stare.

She nodded slightly. "Yep, I often just let my legs carry me away. free and playful like the wind, ever unjudging and moving you could say." She offered a small smile. "A mate?" She shook her head lightly as she walked. "None.. I move around too often so I really have no ties anywhere. Some day perhaps I'll find some one to change it all.. but till then I'm happy to wander, seeing what there is in this world to offer and who there is to meet. I've been like this since I was a filly when I took my first real adventure into this world and left my family behind." She looked ahead in silence for a moment. "Never worry though, However lonely this existence might seem.. it's not so lonely when you have the world as yours for the taking just waiting to be explored. You never know who you'll meet."
((I'm leaving present story plot out of sho's replies since icly she didn't meet oracle till after she met hydro in the summer time.))
