Down the street moved a blonde with a smirk on her lips. It had been an interesting week so far. She'd met Adonis, a charming male who seemed distracted. There was a run in with Heaven, her childhood best friend. What she really needed, though, was a girl to be friends with. There were a lot of things that guys just didn't seem to understand.
She paused in front of a store, looking curious. Shopping with a best friend would be fun. Hm. Now she needed to find one. The blonde ran her fingers through her hair before continuing on her journey down the sidewalk.
Her footsteps haulted in front of a rather attractive and nice looking girl. "Sorry, I nearly ran into you, there. I really need to learn to watch where I'm going." A soft laugh left her as she held out her hand. "I'm Millie."

Things here had been quiet lately, despite everything that there was to get into. And honestly she was getting a bit bored with it and disliked being alone for too long. Books only kept her occupied for so long and the stash that had been brought with her had run out last week. Shopping for new ones on the other hand turned out to be more of a task than she'd thought... so many shops and no idea where to start. Not only books, but clothing as well that all looked so appealing. Doing it alone.. well that wasn't real high on her list. Lost in her own thoughts a bit, she barely even noticed the other female until they nearly ran into each other. "Not a problem, I was doing my own share of spacing out." she replied, smiling while reaching out and the offered hand. "Nice to meet you, I'm Isolde. Got a little distracted with looking at all of these shops. I've never seen so many different things all in one area before, was a little over-whelming at first."

Millie smiled even more. This girl was very nice, she hoped that they could end up being friends. She nodded her head a few times. "The shops are amazing, really. I love the clothing stores, though." She glanced to the one next to them.
"OH, did you maybe want to go into that one with me? I bet it's a lot less intimidating if there's two of us." She laughed lightly, then, feeling rather good about the day. It was rather beautiful out, a good day to spend shopping the way she needed to.
She needed a new jacket, if nothing else. Perhaps a notebook to write thoughts down, a few cute accessories to play around in. Though she wasn't huge on fashion, she did love things that made her feel good about herself or looked really cute with what she was wearing.

Isolde started to relax a little more as Millie talked, figuring that if it was going to be a problem something would have been said before now. She seemed nice enough and it would be nice to get to know some more females in the area. Maybe even have a gal-pal to go shopping with and such.
So when she was asked to go shopping, Isolde perked up a good bit, smiling and nodding her head eagerly. "I'd love to shopping with you, thank you. Never was one for going out like this buy myself."
Hesitantly walking up and poking her head in the door of a nearby shop, waiting for the other female before venturing in any farther. Maybe it was time she got into some girlier things. A few new accessories couldn't hurt and maybe a cute sash, those were always fun to play with. Who knew what else they might find, two heads were always better than one.

Millie nodded her head, glad that the other female was agreeing to shop with her. It was always more fun to have another girl around, you could get their opinions on what was cute and what didn't look right. It was a good way to get to know Isolde as well.
"Oh, look at this." She laughed a little as she lifted up a headband, ribbons coming off of it that nearly reached the floor. "Why would you wear this? I'd end up stepping on it and breaking my neck." Sometimes fashion was a little confusing to her. Not that she was one to talk, her leather corset, if too tight, could be pretty damaging as well.
She glanced over her should to the other and gasped when she noticed it. "Oh, I love your tattoo so much! I didn't see it at first. I've always wanted to get one."

Isolde laughed a bit as well when Millie held up the headband with all the ribbons, wondering as well just who might wear something like that. But to each his own. "No kidding... either that or getting all tangled up and falling down too much." she replied, shaking her head a bit while starting to look through some of the hair clips.
Nothing seemed to be catching her eye there, so she walk a few steps to the side to look at some of their necklaces when Millie comment on her tattoo. Turning and glancing down at her shoulder for a moment, giving a soft sigh before looking at up the other female. "Thanks, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be to get done. Don't know if I'd get another one... this was more of a special occasion one."

"You must have a pretty good pain tolerance, then." She smiled over to the other as she moved towards the area with the jackets. They were gorgeous, false furr lining the hoods. She'd never wear real furr, but she loved the look of it. "Hmm." Her fingers ran down the front of the fabric, trying to decide if she wanted it or not.
She reached out, grabbing for it and sliding it over her shoulders, her arms moving through the proper holes. "What do you think?" She asked the other female as she looked in the mirror. It wasn't puffy enough to hide her slim figure--Millie figured if she was going to work this hard to stay in shape, she should be allowed to show it.
"I need something to keep me warm, but I don't want to look like a huge balloon."

Isolde just smiled and nodded, not sure what else to say about it really without feeling like a buzz kill. And that was the last thing she wanted to do right now, especially when things were going so well with what might be a good friend.
"Not bad, better than some of the ones humans wear. They look like giant puff balls... that on the other hand is flattering." meaning every word of it, false flattery never did anyone any good in her mind. And the other female was attractive and seemed to enjoy showing off her looks, not that there was anything wrong with that at all... she did it as well when the mood struck her.
Turning back towards the racks again, Isolde spied a few sashes over a few spots down from where they were. Moving down there for a moment, she glanced over their selection until one of them caught her eye... a black sash with some purple beads and stitching on it. Quite sparkly, though it might draw more attention when alone it might be cute around the waist. Turning back towards Millie, Is looped it around her waist and glanced in a mirror, "Hmm... not too sure about this.. cute for an accessory, but I'm not sure... what do you think of it?"

The words made he grin and she nodded her head. "Thanks," She would definatly need to buy the jacket, then. "At least now I won't freeze to death." Millie laughed a little as she slid the jacket off, holding it in her arms to make sure she didn't let it go.
Her eyes followed the other, footsteps taking her to the accessories as well. She watched with curiousity, smirking when she saw the sash. It was really pretty, definatly something that would look good on Isolde.
"I think you should get it," Her head nodded a few times, showing how content she was. "It's really pretty, and eye catching." Having a girl to go shopping with was turning out to be a great idea, having a second opinion on things always helped.
Her hands reached out to grab a red sash. "I would get this too, if I were you."

Twirling back and forth alittle bit more before tossing the first sash over her arm, then doing the same with the red one Mille had suggested. Both of them looked good and was hard to choose just one... so she decided to get both. "Thank you! It's too hard to choose between them, so both of them it is."
Smiling and starting to hum a little, she turned back to look at some more of the accessories and certainly feeling a lot better than when the day had started. Just having another female around to talk to and hang out with was soothing, not to mention a heck of a lot more fun than doing this by herself.
"What kind of styles are you interested in?" she asked, figuring it couldn't hurt to have two pairs of eyes looking for things if she wanted something specific.

Millie grinned. It felt nice to know that the other thought enough of her opinion to accept it. It seemed their tastes weren't too far off. She laughed a little more, finding herself having more and more fun with the other girl. She reached out, grabbing a hat and placing it on her head before tilting her head. It fit around her ears, but her hair made it weird. She had to giggle for putting it back.
"I'll wear almost anything," Millie admited, "I do love form fitting stuff. But I love black.. At the same time, I love every colour there is. I guess it depends on the day. Some days I feel like wearing black leather, the next day I want leopard print dresses and big tacky plastic jewelry."
She gave a smile at that, wondering if the other would find her strange. She really dressed to fit her mood, which would tell anyone that knew her well enough how she felt every day.

"Sounds like that would be fun... dressing in something totally different each day. I'm kinda boring actually when it comes to clothes for everyday... once in awhile I'll dress up if I feel like it though. I've been kinda busy exploring this area though, or reading a few books I found to make any cute outfits, cause it's hard trying to get mud and stuff out of some of these fabrics." Iso replied, smiling back over at Millie. SHe could easily see herself going out again together.. and that made things a bit brighter for her. Trying to settle into a new area with no one to talk to was depressing sometimes.
"Hmm... maybe something more party-ish would be nice... there are more cats here than I've come across before. So it would be kinda fun to go out and do something like that, maybe as a girls night out if your interested sometime." Not sure if the other female was into that kind of thing, but Millie seemed like she enjoyed her own share of fun from what she could tell so far.
