Finally, some of the pride was starting to come back together after the disaster that had nearly destroyed them. Dens were being rebuilt, cubs were being reborn, new vampires were being brought into the ranks.
Smiling slightly to himself, 'Tani padded along the jungle paths, looking around at all the new faces. Sooner or later, he would meet them, though he wasn't really concerned with that at the moment.
It was more like...the general was simply enjoying the night, and liking what he saw in the pride's lands. This was nice... and perhaps they could go on some more hunts outside the prides for other vampires again soon.

"Perfect." Enikil stepped back from his 'masterpiece' and looked at it critically. No one had yet seen any of his work, this being his first accomplished piece and until he got it just right no one ever would.
Bones, scraps of fur and tissue, as well as other bits he'd found lying around for formed into a big blob. To him, it was his father. Complete with jewelry.
The bloodling licked his lips and smiled. Now this one he could show off. Without hesitation he sprinted the short way to the path and was lucky enough to spot a pride adult. "Hey, hey, you! Come on." He nodded over his head and disappeared back into the foliage, popping back out at his sculpture.

'Tani blinked when a small mostly white cub suddenly ran out of a clump of bushes and yelled at him. It took him a moment to even process what the other had said and then he blinked again, tilting his head slightly. Now what in the world could that little one be so excited about?
After a moment, 'Tani shrugged and followed after the cub. No harm in seeing what was going on ... it hadn't sounded like trouble, anyway. That was a plus.

Enikil waited by the wayside just to make sure the red male would follow him before really spiffing up the 'sculpture' and adding on the final touches. It's head was leaning towards the back in a roar pose, but the fact was that it was close to snapping off.
"Tada!" He held his paw out proudly with his little chest puffed out. "Do you like it?"

'Tani emerged from the bushes into that small clearing and then blinked. And blinked again. What in the name of all the gods...
Sure, he'd seen piles of bones and leftovers from meals before, but never anything like THIS. It didn't really occur to the larger male that it was a work of art at all. But ... he didn't want to upset a cub. So he managed a smile and nodded. "It's really ... uhm. Impressive. But ... what is it?"

Ah ha! He was stunned speechless. The cubs eyes brightened measurably as he gazed up lovingly at his creation. Looking back at the male over his shoulder, he responded, "It's my dad! See, I got his necky-thing." Eni pointed towards the rather large spider slapped onto the front. Of course, it wasn't as small nor as pretty as his father's neck thing, but it worked. "Do you really think it's good?"
Of course, by now his eyes were sparkling like diamonds. He'd never been so damn happy in his life.

This was his dad..? Uhm. Okaaaay. Oh... wait, WAIT a minute, here. Did the cub mean that it was supposed to be some kind of sculpture? Damn... 'Tani was starting to suspect there was something wrong with the kid.
But it wasn't really his place to judge, now was it? "Ah ... yes, it's very nice," he replied, striving for neutrality.

Enikil shivered with glee. "Yay! Now I just gotta find him and show it to him." He would search the whole pride over looking for his father and annoy him to death if he didn't comply with his demands. "Oh, wait. Forgot. Gotta make a c'wown. He's a Pwince." The cub puffed up his chest. "I'm not, but that's okay, right?."
