Meh. I think in general it looks ridiculous. Because from what I've seen it looks like boys are wearing ill fitted suits. The girls clothes are similar to some of the fashions from the Victorian era but have obvious differences. The only thing that looks really different about the boys clothes is that they look like the boys wearing them outgrew them.
Now, keep in mind that my experience with male loli is limited to one person. So if you have more images to share, I'd like to see them.

With minimum lace (or none at all) some male lolita outfits look okay. Really, though I always imagine lolita guys as very fancy waiters in one of those super pricey girl-client cafes they have in Japan.

There's no such cat in the metropolis, who holds all the pieces in monopoly, Personally, I wouldn't wear it. The style would most likely look ridiculous on me. But I can imagine that it could look alright on some guys, just not all.
for performing surprising illusions, and creating eccentric confusion.

Just to clarify there isn't such a thing as "Boy Lolita". Lolita refers to the dresses and whatnot that anyone can wear, but is usually associated with "Girl Lolita". * As for Male Gothic style clothing ie Pirate, Aristocrat and what not I absolutely love it and I would love it if more men wore it! heart Plus it looks really good on tall girls too.

Hm. I think that the more we see of it the more comfortable we'll be with it.
You know, the other day I saw someone on a skateboard who had a ton of fashion--not my kind of fashion.... but I could tell that he was dressing up in some sort of way... so just because of that I thought it looked nice even though I had no idea what sort of look he was going for. I would describe it as strange, but he seemed confident about it so I guess I was as well xD
