The Tower of Origin

A large pillar-like structure that reaches up into the clouds, it is tall and imposing and is centered in the center of the kingdom region.
They saw that each layer of the Tower, for there are 100 floors in all, is protected by some divine force.
No one has ever reached the top, but it is rumored that the god of Pokemon his self dwells at its peak.
Arceus.

At the base of the tower a prophecy is scrawled in rock for all to see.

In the birth cry of the cosmos
The twin eyes awake
The world made safe for our sake.

The forests they flourish.
The Tower grows high.
The four lights shine down.
Chaos withers and dies.

But Imbalance grows.
Forests turn dark.
This is our doom.
The Tower breaks the sky.
Here come the dragons to bring it down.

Floors: 100

Pokemon: ???

Hiku---Tetsu

Hiku and Tetsu were two of the first pokemon to make it to the tower. Hiku shouted, "I can't wait! This tower looks so huge!" as he bounced up and down. "We're going to beat up these bad humans!" he continued as he started punching the air.
Tetsu replied, "Don't forget that we're not just here for the humans we need to find the second part of the prophecy too."

Solaris---Devan---Rin
The Guild Master, as well as the two human siblings stood before the tower in awe.
Or in Solaris' case slight intimidation.
They had to go all the way to the top? His paws hurt just thinking about it.
The Esepon's eyes lowered to the Prophecy written on the stone and then to the iron gate at the Towers entrance that was slowly rising to let them pass.
A sign next to the gate was scrawled in hasty handwriting as if whoever wrote it did not want to tarry.
"Step through these doors if you dare, the first challenge will appear. Hope your not afraid of the dark, face the deepest fears of your heart."
"Scary~ Do we go through then?"
The human boy nodded once.
"No choice really. C'mon." The two humans stepped through and vanished in the shadows. Solaris grimaced but followed, not wanting to be shown up.

Jazz---Shiro
Jazz and Shiro exchanged glances before walking in as well.
---

Jazz clung to Shiro’s arm without any motion to loosen his grip. To be honest he was terrified out of his mind and was disinclined to relinquish his hold on the Buizel.
As they walked it felt as though Shiro’s arm was becoming smaller, for the Pichu’s grip was constantly loosening and he would scramble to latch back onto his friend.
It didn’t take long for, in one panicked moment he lost his hold on Shiro and after flailing his arms in the darkness for a few moments , he found himself alone.
“Shiro?” He questioned softly, afraid to speak to loudly in case something else lurked in the shadows.
When no reply came he stifled a whimper and walked forward blindly, clutching his tail in a nervous manner.
Suddenly, as though someone flicked a switch, the corridor lit up and he found himself standing in the center of a white hallway that seemed to move on forever.
Ahead lay nothing but whiteness, so bright it hurt his eyes and when he chanced a look behind him his tiny heart nearly stopped.
The hall behind him was dark, shadows moving in a liquid like manner behind him and without pausing Jazz bolted ahead, running as fast as he could for he had seen that shadow before.
He had seen it when it passed overhead when he and his mother were on a walk.
He had seen it as his mother threw him into some nearby bushes and demanded he stay down.
And he had seen it when it passed by, chasing the retreating yellow blur that was his mother.
He had watched, eyes wide in terror and had not moved during the entire event, but now that he faced it once more he could do nothing other than to run.
Small paws thudded the ground in a heavy staccato of sound, when he glanced back the advancing darkness forced another adrenaline rush through his veins and even as his limbs began to burn with agony he didn’t stop for a second.
Didn’t even consider it.
Suddenly the whiteness around him dulled and expanded, exploding in a flurry of stars on a black canvas and he dropped to the ground like a rag doll, limp and unmoving.
“Arceus, are you alright?!”
Both green eyes snapped open to see Shiro standing over him with a worried expression and in his delight he lunged forward and fastened himself into a hug around the Buizel’s neck.
“J-Jazz…cant….breath…”“Sorry! S-sorry!” The Pichu wailed and then began to bawl loudly. “I was so scared! I don’t like this place!”
“Neither do I.” Shiro replied softly, looking as though he hadn’t slept in ages.
“What happened to you?”
“I don’t want to talk about it.” The Buizel snapped in fury suddenly, turning to walk towards the guild master and the two humans, all three looking like hell as well.
Jazz wiped his eyes with a paw and then stood up to follow, limping from exhaustion.
He glanced back at the hall he had run through and was annoyed to find it was not as long as it had felt.

Shiro starred ahead, musing quietly to himself when he felt movement and turned to watch Jazz sit next to him.
His attention went back to his mind and in blasts of color he could see the iced waters of his home bury everything beneath its unwavering wrath.
“Get to higher ground! We wont last long in this cold!” A gruff voice demanded, and Shiro glanced over to see a pure white Floatzel glaring at him.
“Are you deaf boy?! I said move!”He felt his mouth open and his own voice answered back, “Of course, Father!”The snow and ice converged, creating a slushy death trap and as he dashed forward he glanced back to see it overtake a small gray Furret and drag the poor creature writhing and screaming down into the cold white.
Shiro panted, coming to a stop at the edge of a cliff face.
“We’ll have to jump.” A voice said solemnly next to him and he turned to see a sleek black Buizel grinning at him from ear to ear.
“Think you can make it, baby brother?”
“Its way to far down.” Shiro replied with a quivering voice. “And what about mom and dad?”“Mom’s dead. Dad will be soon too and as will we if you don’t move it!”
Still Shiro stayed in one place and the black Buizel growled, moving to stand behind him.
“Dammit, I said jump! The snow will break your fall! From there you head to the mountains!” He shoved Shiro and the Buizel felt himself tumble into blackness.

“Shiro?” He glanced over with wary eyes at the Pichu who starred in concern and then snapped his head away angrily.
Jazz sighed.

"So. . . This is it huh? The tower of Origin. . ." Czar was astonished at how high the tower really is, while looking at it he noticed clouds circling around the tower, "So. . . You ready guys?" Czar asked his teammates as they all nodded, then taking a deep breath they entered the tower as they were swallowed by the darkness. . .

"Fears..?"Grim repeated to himself in an almost mocking tone as Solaris read the warning aloud."C'mon, let's just get this over with.." The Sableye stated, grabbing hold of his partner who seemed obviously distraught over the whole ordeal already. Fighting back as she was dragged toward the entrance and practically thrown inside.

Vira & Leslie & Altaïr & Trink

The four members of Team Cannibal arrived fashionably late.
Many of the team had already gone inside.
"Well, let's go, guys!" Vira said.
Leslie shivered.
"L-Let's stay together. This place gives me the creeps..." The Shinx murmured.
"Trink agrees with the kitty-boy!" The oddly colored Sableye said from his perch on top of Altaïr's back.
Altaïr gave a nod, showing he agreed as well.
Vira nodded to her team, understanding their viewpoints.
"Onward!" She called, motioning as she went forward.
Her team followed close behind.
This plan of theirs to stick together, however, was not to unfold.
As soon as they were all inside, everything went dark.
Each Pokemon found him/herself completely alone.

"........."
Vira glanced around, seeing absolutely nothing.
"What..."
Lights came on like a blinding flash.
The Sneasel shaded her eyes as they adjusted to the sudden light.
"WHAT....."
Her eyes then began to see what was arround her.
It looked like she was inside... a hospital?
"............ WHAAAAAAT......"
It was safe to say the Sneasel was confused.
Her ear-feather flickered when she heard a crash.
Her eyes shifted to where she heard the crash, but she saw nothing.
"Where.... am I?" She muttered to herself.
She began to take a few steps forward, atuning herself to the strange silence.
She looked forward, noticing a door.
There was blood smeared all over it.
"The.... ******** cautiously reached forward and touched the handle.
Another crash occured, and Vira recoiled.
The Sneasel heard a creaking sound behind her.
She turned around and found herself facing an army of.... wheelchairs?
Her eye twitched once.
"...... What......?" She muttered.
The wheelchairs then reared up like horses and charged forward.
".... s**t," Vira spat quickly turning around and yanking the door open, running inside and turning around to slam it behind her.
Everything was quiet and dark.
Vira stood there, clutching the door and panting.
She ears flicked when she heard something else.
It sounded like breathing.
Very deep breathing.
She slowly turned around and her eyes widened.
A huge ghostly face with no eyes was floating towards her, panting heavily.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!"
Vira let out a blood curtling scream as she yanked the door ******** THAT!
She'd sooner get mauled by wheelchairs than deal with that thing!
She ran forward, swinging her claws madly and slashing a couple wheelchairs away as she ran toward a door with a red "X" on it.
She made it to the door, yanked it open, and slammed it shut behind her.

"....Vira?"
No answer.
"Viraaaaaa...?"
Nothing.
"This isn't funny!" Leslie whined.
Everything was dark, and the Shinx had no clue where he was.
There was then a flash of light, and he found himself inside an attic of some kind.
"Uhhh...."
There was a creaking noise resounding above him.
He looked up and let out a scream.
"OH SWEET ARCEUS WHY?!" He shouted.
Staring down at him was a large Ariados.
"NONONONONO!!!" The Shinx screamed, trying to find something to hide behind.
He found nothing of the sort, though.
He whimpered and jumped back, dodging a String Shot.
He frantically ran in circles, dodging String Shot after String Shot.
Eventually, the spider Pokemon lunged at him, trying to catch him with a Bug Bite.
Leslie curled up and wailed, unknown to the fact that a Thunderbolt was now shooting from his body.
The attack hit the Ariados, which vanished in a poof of smoke.
Leslie panted and looked up, realizing the threat was gone.
Before him stood a door with a red "X" that wasn't there before.
He cautiously stood up, looked around, and opened the door, walking inside.

"LET ME OUT!!!"
...
"PLEASE! LET ME OUT!"
.....
Altaïr struggled, but he could barely move.
He seemed to be enclosed in a small box.
The Absol was hyperventilating a little.
Whoever put him in this box must've known is was a claustrophobic.
"I CANNOT STAY IN 'DIS BOX! LET ME OUT!!!" He roared.
There were actuall tears streaming from his eyes.
Poor Altaïr was losing his mind in there.
He kept pushing and pushing on the walls of the box, trying to break.
"PLEAAAAAASE!!!!!!"
His wails went unanswered, though.
The Absol was now crying like a baby.
What had he done to deserve this torture?!
"You cannot keep me in here!" He shouted.
He began to breathe quickly.
"YOU WILL NOT KEEP ME IN HERE!"
He began to kick and flail, as if as a last resort.
One of the walls of the box cracked.
Altaïr kept kicking at the crack until he smashed the wall, immediately crawling out of the box as fast as he could and curling up in the free air, wailing.
After it seemed he had ran out of tears, he looked up and saw a door with a red "X" painted on it.
He took a few breaths and went through.

Trink blinked a couple times.
Although he could normally see in pitch black, he couldn't see a thing here.
It was almost like... there was nothing there to see.
"Hellooooooo?~" He called out, but he got no answer.
Suddenly, a door appeared in front of him.
There was a red "?" painted on it.
Trink tilted his head in thought, and decided to open the door to see what was behind it.
He stepped inside and the door closed behind it, making him jump.
"Gah! That scared Trink very much badly!" He whined.
Lights began to turn on in this new room he was in.
He saw each and every one of his teammates locked up in different kinds of mechanisms.
"Wha... What is this?" He asked.
He looked around and found a tape recorder that hate a note on it.
The note read "PLAY ME."
The Sableye gulped, took the tape recorder, and pressed play.
It started out as fuzzy distortion, but then a dark voice began to speak.
"Hello, Trinkulus. I wanna' play a game. Each of your friends is locked up in contraptions that I have put together. The object of this game is simple. Just pull the lever by each machine to set them free. You only have sixty seconds, though. Act fast, Trinkulus. Live or die, make their choice."
The tape then ended and a ticking began.
"Oh dear! Oh my, Trink must save his friends!" The Sableye squealed.
He ran over to where Vira was and reached for the lever.
There was one problem, though.
The lever was far too high for him to reach.
"No!" He wailed.
He tried to use his tiny wings to fly, but to no avail.
"It's not fair! Trink cannot win!" He pleaded.
He could only watch on helplessly as the timer ran down to zero.
He watched as Vira's head was twisted 360 degress, snapping her neck.
He watched as Leslie's skull was drilled through.
He watched as little Amani's limbs were torn off.
He watched as Lumi was choked with her own antennae.
He watched as Shadowmere was sliced clean in half.
He watched as Altaïr was crushed into a small cube.
Poor Trink was wailing as he ran to a ranbom door that just happened to have a red "X" on it.

The door flew open and Trink burst through, screaming.
He stopped as he found himself staring at his teammates, alive and well.
They were all waiting for him there.
"You are.... ALIVE?! Trink shouted.
He had just seen them all brutally murdered, how could they be standing right there?!
Vira nodded with a smile.
"Yeah. Nothing any of us saw was real," She explained, having figured this out after listening to the stories of her teammates.
Trink blinked a couple times, and then passed out.
Vira sighed and nodded to her team as they waited for the next phase of this journey.

User Image~KewnewUser Image~Grim

As the duo entered the dungeon, they were enshrouded in complete darkness as if the entrance behind them was completely blocked off, but it was quite obvious to those outside that the way was still open just the team were no longer in sight…”I normally don’t mind the dark, but this just doesn’t feel right…” Kewnew felt the need to state as she barely walked along, cautiously feeling the ground with her bare feet with each step as she clutched onto her partner, whom since she entered in directly next to was able to feel him out of the dark and cling on tight. Feeling actually slightly safe near the normally intimidating Sableye. ”Just keep walking; I’ll guide you. You’ll be fine.” Grim quickly added in an almost stuttering tone. Not having any fear for himself but entirely for his partner… His adaptable eyes making him able to see near perfectly in the pitch-dark room, and what was all before them, surrounding on all sides, was most definitely not to the Treecko’s enjoyment.

”What, what is it?” Kewnew questioned, shaking her partner’s arm a little as she spoke hoping to coax an answer. ”It’s nothing, just keep walking.” Grim stated in a more harsh yet reassuring tone, now yanking the slightly more scared Treecko along as he began moving at a faster pace. With no exit in sight though their run was cut off in no time; a sudden wire of some having cut across their path tripping up the Sableye first causing them both to tumble to the ground. Since by that point the sounds of their own racing heartbeats and footsteps died down, the other noises of the area became more prominent and a dim light slowly filled the room. Scuttling noises moving towards them droned above all else, only to be drowned out by Grim’s scream, ”Get up!” He ordered, yanking Kewnew to her feet for her own good as he tried to get them both into movement again, but his attempts ended with no avail; the Treecko’s feet appearing to have been tied to the ground by the product of a String Shot attack from an unknown enemy. By that point in the Treecko’s mind it was too late, it was all over, suddenly as if expected two more String Shot attacks whipped through the air directly toward her arms and the attackers themselves soon became visible as eerie shadows blocking out a drone forest backdrop. It all seemed like a dream to her. Suddenly though what seemed for the better only became worse as Grim lunged in-front of the attacks, only to be completely immobilized by the onslaught of goop. ”Gah!” He attempted to yell out but the enemies already had him bound up to the mouth and it only came out as a muffled gasp for air. Kewnew was able to view this whole scenario unfold before her but she felt powerless against it. Being a grass type bugs always bothered her, but not every little one. Some were even nice; just in large groups and their beady little eyes piercing through the darkness that surrounded her unleashed a primordial fear deep inside her frightened little body.

By this point her partner was in a chrysalis like form of bonds; his captors still remaining as shadows as they moved around his immobilized body, adding layer upon layer of silky death over him. ”S-stop that!” She finally drew the courage to speak up, still unable to move seeing her feet where still tied down to the ground below her. Unfortunately for her the opposing forces listened, two glistening red sets of eyes stopping in their tracks atop Grim’s encasement to stare at her. ”I-I can’t let you do that!” She continued; the slightest hint of determination apparent in her voice as her right fist glistened with sparks of rolling electricity. She was preparing a Thunder Punch attack, and though she could not lunge at the unidentified insects as she would have liked to at this point, if they came anywhere near her she was willing to injure them to any extent she was able to for the sake of Grim’s life that was at hand…If he was even still alive.

It was at that point that a great flash of blinding light filled the room causing the Treecko to cringe back. She could feel the bonds at her feet dissipating and when the light retreated she was able to see Grim on the ground before her hacking for air but safe with no danger in sight no longer. ”Thanks…” The Sableye muttered after he had caught his breath, assuming Kewnew was the one who saved him; though once he drew himself to his feet and looked around at where he was at he quickly grew silent again. The duo were now in what seemed to be an underground cavern, with a few oil-lamp lights dotted on what appeared to be poorly constructed walls out of different sized and shaped strips of wood. None-the-less it seemed like it had to be some kind of living quarters, to the Sableye’s dismay it was his old ‘home’ when he was younger.

”Oh no….nonononono..” The Sableye was once again back on the ground in a practical fetal position, claws up over his own ears as if he was anticipating the need to block out something.

”Hey, y-you alright?” The Treecko standing next to him watching this all unfold tried to ask in a worried tone, but she barely got to finish her statement when it began. Harsh scratching noises filled the room to the point that nothing else was audiable, like nails on slate the screeching raged on only seeming to get louder. By that point Kewnew, now attempting to cover her ears also, dropped to her knees next to her partner, completely confused and unsure what else to do she tried to nudge him out of his now seemingly devoid of life state. ”What’s wrong! What’s going on!” She attempted to ask, unable to even hear her own cries over the seemingly unending noise. Whatever she just had done though seemed to have coaxed some kind of response out of his partner seeing that in a blink of an eye he was back on his feet and letting out what would have been a raging battle cry if it wasn’t for the fact it was completely inaudible. Kewnew just continued to stare in awe as the Sableye rushed over to the nearest wall and began clawing wildly at the seemingly loose gravel; digging for a few good minutes before it became apparent he was getting no further. And even then his claws still lashed at the now solid showing rock, his skin becoming raw and bleeding in some areas.

”Stop!” Kewnew finally cried out when it became obvious that her partner was causing harm to himself; rushing to his aid and attempting to pull him away from the wall, her ears in pain from the sheer noise that still droned on. Grim tried to press on as he was held back, it taking him a few moments to even realize he was immobilized; but once he did he swung one arm wildly against the much weaker female tossing her aside easily without remorse. As he went back to work his claws turned into fists, glowing with an eerie black aura, Shadow Claw attacks pounding at the now bare rock causing a web of cracks in no time. Kewnew just sat back on the ground where she had landed, shaking in fear, this wasn’t her partner that she knew and she was completely afraid to confront him again.

After a few more moments of Grim’s enraged treatment the solid wall collapsed down around him, revealing another layer of more loamy ground. The slightest of smiles appearing across his face as he literally dove in. Experienced claws going back to work as the silt flew past him, digging as if there was a buried treasure at stake. Then it happened, he grasped something a bit more solid, soft almost, a little fuzzy and fleshy; the screeching ceased and the Sableye ripped his prize from the wall. Gripped in a single claw, sharp ends digging into its skin, was a lone Diglett, squirming for freedom and it’s life. A slight chuckle escaped the Sableye’s mouth as he brought his sharpened thumb up across what was practically the entire body of the mole-like Pokemon. Just as he was about to easily snap the thing in half with his bare hand a flash of light similar to earlier filled the room; he could feel the Pokemon dissipate from his grasp; their trial was over.

Grim just sat there on the ground in their new surroundings, sighing heavily to himself, a tear nearly forming in his eye. ”Y-you alright?” Kewnew cautiously approached him, still afraid of the whole other side of her partner that she just witnessed. ”Yeah…Sorry for anything that happened…I’ll explain later…” He sighed out, planning on staying on the ground and resting up before it was time for them to get moving again. From the looks of it they had quite a bit more to go before they reached the top of this place.

Czar Kaze Lucas Basch Larwn Desch

The hall of fears, Objective: recover the second prophecy

F1 –Czar’s Location
Upon entering the tower Czar was promptly greeted by a shadow figure, looking back he noticed that his two friends were gone, looking at the figure he told him, “What is going on here, where are my friends?” “Friends, you mean those pokemon? Heh, they went on ahead without you, you should meet up with them that is, but can you endure the path that awaits you?” then the figure was enveloped around him as he disappeared into the shadows. “They went on with out me? Well, no use sticking around, when I find them I’m going to teach them never to go on without the leader’s consent.” Looking around the area, he noticed a straight tunnel leading into the room, with no other options, he walked along it; seeing if it leads anywhere, in his head he can hear a voice “No matter how long you keep it, or how hard you try to conceal it, they will find out eventually, it’s the way things work. . .”

-Lucas & Larwn’s Location

“Great, we seemed to be separated; now Czar’s going to kill us. . .” Lucas told Larwn as he began to roam around the tunnels, “Well maybe once we find him, we can give our side of our arguments,” Larwn tried to find ways not to land in hot water for both of them. “Or maybe we’ll find him on the floor, on the verge to fainting that’s when we can get ourselves out of the mess.” “Don’t say that, Larwn you know how I hate pokemon dying in front of my eyes.” Then looking front he noticed a pokemon being sliced in half as the top half landed on Lucas’s body, Larwn was astonished at the fact that a pokemon can be sliced in half out of thin air, but for Lucas. . . “AH!!!! NO!!! GET IT OFF, OH DEAR ARCEUS, WHY!!!” Lucas was petrified at the half of a pokemon and the final face expression once being sliced in half, taking a look at the face Lucas punched the body aside and took off Running. “Lucas! We have to stick together, get back here!!!” Larwn followed Lucas; trying to calm down when he noticed the hallways got darker, that’s when he noticed Gemstones everywhere and a image of his younger Brother being dragged away at the other side of Lucas’s direction and where he’s going, Looking at the image, Larwn gave chase to the image, “Brother!!!” Larwn ended up at a flight of stairs, on the side it was labeled Stair number 3, not hesitating he went up the stairs in hopes to rescue his brother.

-Lucas’s Location

Lucas ran through the halls; searching for the stairs while dodging bodies flying about, that’s when he found the stairs leading up to another room, however on the stairs were covered with pokemon standing there, however when Lucas went up the stairs, one by one, the bodies were being sliced in half, terrified, he quickly went up the stairs; not looking at the side of the stairs as it was labeled stair number 2

-Czar’s Location

Czar then noticed his partners Lucas and Larwn just standing there talking to each other. “There you are guys, where the hell have you been?” Czar asked them both as they replied; “we went up ahead since you were over analyzing about yourself and your current situation.” Czar heard them as he was puzzled; they were talking like zombies; their smiles were a little awkward, and more importantly, their tones were in a monotone like sound. “Um . . . whatever, come on, let’s get going” Czar told his friends as he located the stairs, looking at his two partners following Czar he looked at the stairs; with the number 1 on it. (Stairs with numbers, what does it even mean?) Czar looked around as his teammates shrugged, (is there more stairs, or is this is to trick us. . .) Once shrugging it off Czar went up the stairs.

F2
-Lucas’s Location

“NO!!! GET AWAY, GET AWAY!!!” Lucas yelled out as he was being tailed by dead bodies, Lucas stopped in his tracks and saw something that scared him even more; pokemon bodies being horribly tortured and soon enough their limbs were ripped from their bodies. “WHAT THE HELL?!?!?” Lucas ran across the other hallway; trying to get away from the bodies, he closed his eyes as he ran a straight line, he can’t channel his aura to see what’s real or fake due to him being horribly terrified. However, he didn’t take long to find Stair number 2 as he went up once opening his eyes; cringing at the dead bodies flying about every time he climbs up the stairs

-Larwn’s Location

“Brother!!!” Larwn’s Brother yelled out; trying to catch his brother, however with no avail, it looked like he’s hardly making any progress to reach him. “Larwn save me!” he said over and over while Larwn began to gain speed, “Hang on Bro!” Larwn yelled out; extending a hand to his brother, however looking around the room he entered, he noticed that he entered a room with stairs, but the image disappeared, as soon as looked up he heard a voice, “Larwn help me they’re going to kill me!” his brother’s voice rang out, “I’m coming Ben!” Larwn ascended Stair number 3; being cautious of what’s going to happen next.

-Czar’s Location

“Hey Czar,” Lucas asked Czar a question, “Do you have any secrets?” “Me? Well, not really.” Czar responded back quickly, that’s when he starts to hear voices in his head again, “You still try to hide it. . . They will find out eventually, and you will pay the price. . .” Czar closed his eyes; trying to get the voice out of his head, once the voice stopped he took a look at his team, only to be astonished at the fact that their skin was a little darker, “What’s wrong?” Larwn asked Czar; his voice was a little disoriented, as so as Lucas’s. “. . . I’m fine, just an annoyance, okay I’m better now, let’s get moving.” Czar told his companions as they walked through the tunnels, after a few minutes of walking they ended up at a flight of stairs with the number 1 on it. “Well no sense in standing around here let’s move on.” Czar went up the stairs as his team members soon followed.

F3

-Larwn’s Location

Larwn noticed that the hallways are getting even Darker, looking about he saw his brother struggling to get away from his catcher, however all that it did was sped up the catcher even more, “Larwn, don’t you care about me?” Larwn’s Brother was crying as he was being dragged off to a hallway, “Ben of course I cared about you we’re brothers!” Larwn tried to reach his brother as he ran about; seeing if he could try and attack the being, so he launched a Dragon pulse at him, however it didn’t work as the being still marched on, he could of used stone edge, but he had to stop and do the procedures necessary to make the move more effective so he had no choice but to chase him, upon ending a room where Ben disappeared, he noticed stair number 3 next to him, taking no chances he ascended up; hoping that he would save his brother again, but to do that he needs the speed and will power to press onward, even though the odds against him are not in his favor and that of the being.

-Lucas’s Location

Lucas ran across the hallways closing his eyes in an attempt to shield his vision from pokemon being killed, tortured or cut in half. At the moment where he crashed into a wall, he rubbed his head and looked up, he noticed a casket from the area he crashed head first into, however he noticed that it was going to fall on him, Lucas panicked and dodged aside, however that’s when he noticed a young pokemon looking in horror of the falling casket, screaming in terror the pokemon was squashed by the casket, All could Lucas do, was Scream in terror as he began to run through the hallways, when he opened his eyes he saw many bodies floating about and being cut in half, that’s when he began to hear voices in his head. “Death is what causes you to cringe? I can’t believe that someone of your power is afraid of death. . .” Lucas shook his head as he continued on, ending up in another room, he noticed that the ground floor was covered with a crimson red finish, this made Lucas closed his eyes and contused onwards; hearing the caskets dropping and pokemon screaming, however Lucas didn’t know that he climbed up stair number 2; heading up to the next floor.

-Czar’s Location
“So what do you think about humans guys?” Czar asked them in a nervous, “humans? I think that they are the lowest kind of beings in this world, I hate humans because all they do is capture pokemon of our kind and use them for their own selfish needs.” Larwn replied. “Same goes for me, but I hate the fact that they used our homes, resources, and acres to build their designs of destruction, that’s why when I find a human, they’ll be wishing that they should never changed the world in their Ideals in the first place.” Lucas replied as well, “Guys, do you really hate humans after all?” that’s when he heard the voice again. “You see, you can’t hide your truth after all, once they find out about you, I’m afraid of what’s going to happen next.” The voice was more intense then the ones on the previous floors as he closed his eyes and began to rub his head due to the voice causing a headache, upon looking up he saw that their skins becoming darker then before. “Czar, should we press on?” the voice became more disoriented then ever. ” Yes we must press on. . .” Czar got up and looked slightly to his left to find a room with stairs, facing the direction Czar went up stair number one

-Larwn’s Location
“Ben! Where are you?!” Larwn yelled out; seeing if he can trace the echoes of his voice for the flight of stairs he has to take to reach his brother, “Larwn!” he heard the echo coming from the south of his current position, he looked behind him as he saw a web of tunnels that lead to different rooms, normally he would search all of them, but he’s in a hurry, so he entered the web of rooms and hears the same echo as it came from the west, so Larwn entered the west room, that when the hallway behind him closed up, looking around the room, he noticed that his brother was being tortured by a group of random pokemon, “Stay. . . Away . . . From . . . My brother, you cur, take this!” Larwn charged at the group; using dragon claw as he sliced through the pokemon beating the poor Gible, looking at the Gible, he came into a conclusion that this isn’t his brother, instead it was a random Gible; the Gible beating up was a female and the last time he checked, he didn’t have sister, “Larwn! Hurry up! They’re close to killing me!” Larwn’s brother was heard as stair appeared next to Larwn “Ben! I’ll save you!” Larwn ignored the Gible and move up stair number two.

-Lucas’s Location

“Death is all around us; you can’t just ignore it and move on, no matter how happy the situation is, we all have to die sooner or later. . .” Lucas was crying at the fact that his deepest fear is all around him; dead bodies, dismembered pokemon, tiles being soaked with a Crimson red color, he just couldn’t take it. “You can’t hide the fact, you can only accept it, death is with us and soon enough he’ll look for you next. . .” All could Lucas do was run like hell towards the hallways while overhearing the voice inside his head. “No more please. . .” That’s when Lucas tripped on the stairs, opening his eyes he saw the head of a pokemon being tortured, and as he gazed at it he noticed the eyes being turned over; causing him to basically crawl up the stairs; not looking anywhere due to him closing his eyes.

-Czar’s Location

“Once this world used to be a golden age that was unlike any other, it was an age, without humans, sure there are a few territory control issues, but it was time of expansion. That is. . . Until those bastards came in and took the land like it was their own, I even lost friends due to those savages, I can never forgive them, It’s because of them my parents are dead!” Larwn yelled out which scared Czar, “Those bastards, they destroyed my home, killed my family and killed the land with their tools, which is why. . . I want them gone; dead and gone from this world!!!” Lucas was giving off a dark Aura which scared Czar even more, (Is it because of humans, is this the reason why felt such sorrow when I first met them?) Then the headache became more intense as he fell on the floor. “Because you neglected them to tell your deepest secret, the only thing you ever feared is coming into fruition, now it’s too late, you must now deal with the consequences. . .” Czar opened his eyes and saw that his two friends were gone, looking around he saw a flight of stairs leading into the fifth floor, once finished with looking around he ascended up the stair; feeling his heart beat faster,

-Czar’s Location

Upon reaching the next floor Czar was struck by a dragon pulse as he was on the floor, standing right back up “You, You lied to us!” Lucas and Larwn told Czar; their bodies beginning to glow a dark aura.” You were a Human all along?! So you kept this little charade in order to save you hide, so all along, the terrible events in our lives were caused by you all along. . .” Their bodies began to morph into something sinister. “That’s not true!” “Shut up! It’s because the likes of you that caused this world to change!” Larwn’s body was morphed into a Dusknoir while Lucas’s Body was morphed into a Darkrai, as soon as Czar saw their faces it was clear, Czar’s deepest fear, came back to haunt him. “You pitiful humans ruined the world by your actions, it’s because of you that caused all the chaos in this world, and for that you don’t deserve to live, your fear will be fodder to us, but you body itself will be useful. . .” the Darkrai picked up Czar using Psychic as the Dusknoir opened the mouth on it’s Stomach, looking at what’s going on, he knew that they are doing the same actions that changed his life. . . “No. . . Somebody please ANYBODY!!!” then with a mighty roar he yelled out. “HELP!!!!!!”

-Larwn’s Location
“Bro. . . It’s too late, they already. . .” Larwn was trapped in a room with no way to escape, “why . . . why did you leave me to. . . to. . .” then all Larwn heard was an explosion and a yell, after that, nothing but dead silence, this caused Larwn to double back and cry, he failed to protect his brother and as a result, he’s all alone now. “Ah yes, brotherly love, a love shared by two males who were born from the same blood, however I guess that love isn’t just enough to save your brother. . .” then the room began to turn pitch black, but It doesn’t matter anyway, you’re more then enough to feed on. . .” Larwn tripped and landed on his rear end as he felt the darkness consuming him; leaving nothing but the fear he had in him. . .

-Lucas’s Location

Lucas felt like he’s going to pass out; dead bodies, severed limbs, and more, when he opened his eyes he saw a lone pokemon standing there, with a scream coming from the being Lucas stood there; paralyzed with fear as the body inched closer to Lucas, while that happened darkness began to spread in the room, causing it to go pitch black. “So you accept your fate. . . Death is every where; just waiting for the being to breath in his final breath before taking him away from the mortal coil, however for you. . . Death will be absorbing you; leaving only your fear behind. . .” with nothing to do, the members of team Ragnarok are doomed to wander the halls of origin, Forever. . . “I am what you fear the most, I have conquered you all, and for that I shall claim my prize: your souls. . .

-The truth

“Hold it!!!” a voice rang out as time froze in the two rooms where Lucas and Larwn was in, as Larwn and Lucas blinked they moved away from the main causes of their demise. “What the. . .” Larwn and Lucas were surprised that time stopped for them, however appearing from the shadows, a hooded figure appeared in front of the both as Larwn and Lucas saw each other in the darkness, looking at each other they stared at the hooded figure. “Who. . . Are you?” Larwn asked the question. “Who am I, well my name’s Czar,” the hooded figure revealed himself; it was a young boy with blond hair and green eyes that caused time to stop. “Czar Kaze,” he told them. “Wait . . . You’re Czar?! But how, Czar’s a Charmander not a human!” Larwn was astonished that the young boy is named Czar. “True, he is a Charmander, but I am his explorer’s spirit, the Czar you know was a human one time, but he died for the sake of his team and because of that he was reborn into a Charmander.” The figure changed form into Czar’s body; a Charmander. “you see, this is his fear; being hated just because he’s a human, just like how you fear that your brother might be taken away again Larwn, or you Lucas; seeing dead bodies everywhere, but in all truth, this is all an illusion; trying to warp your minds as you try hard to run away from it, however instead of running away from your fears, fight them!” Czar’s spirit told them, “Yeah, because I never noticed before, all we done is run away from our fears, instead we should stand up to them and overcome our fears.” Larwn told Lucas and Czar’s spirit, “so wait, if this is all just an illusion, then you’re an illusion too?” Lucas asked him. “Yes I’m nothing more then an illusion; created by Czar’s Deepest fear: being afraid that all of his new pokemon friends will hate him because he was once a human, and just like me, he needs you guys to overcome his fear, because in his heart, you’re his best friends.” He told Both of them, looking at the illusion Lucas and Larwn began to walk through the darkness with new resolve, then the walk soon transformed into a run, while running, the illusion Czar ran beside them as he told them both, “I’m counting on you guys,” They both nodded as their paws and claws began to glow with a white color, then with a mighty punch and a slash, they broke through the darkness.

-Facing the demons-

Dusknoir and Darkrai looked up at the two walls as they were smashed into pieces, “What?!” they both yelled out; putting A terrified Czar down on the ground and staring at the walls, “Darkrai and Dusknoir,” Illusion Czar, Lucas and Larwn stepped out of the destroyed walls as they looked at Darkrai and Dusknoir with an determined look on their faces, “Heh. . . well Lucas, it’s a pleasure to meet you again, so I guess you’re not a fan of dead bodies. . .” Darkrai said with a laugh, “Larwn, were you able to save your brother?” Dusknoir said with a laugh. “You just arrived in time; I was hoping for more pokemon to feed on,” Dusknoir’s mouth on his stomach began to open as it began to chomp “Czar!” Larwn and Lucas ran towards Czar’s side as he pulled him away from Darkrai and Dusknoir. “Guys . . .? Heh, what a fine mess this turns out to be,” Czar told them; standing up and facing the pair of pokemon that stood in their paths. “Listen Czar, I don’t care about anything you hide from us; what really matters now is that we’re all friends and you can tell us anything you want, and we’ll still like you no matter how life-changing the secret is. . .” Lucas told Czar as he saw Larwn nodding as well, then seeing Illusion Czar standing next to them he told Czar, “You can face their fear, and they can face yours, all you have to do is believe in yourself that you can defeat the demons that haunt in your heart, you just need to have faith and the courage, I know you can do it, after all, I am you,” he said with a smile. Upon hearing illusion Czar’s words, his tail flame grew bigger as he can feel the support of his two teammates and the spirit within him, “I will help you guys in this fight, but only if you can conquer your demon from within Czar.” Illusion Czar told the Trio; entering the battle as well, Darkrai and Dusknoir waved their hands as the team’s fear came into place, however Czar’s fear was completely removed from the combined attack since he now placed his full trust on his friends; causing the illusions to greatly weaken, “What, our illusions. . .” Darkrai tried to conjure up some more scary visions, but failed, “they’re. . . Disappearing,” Dusknoir was shocked at the fact that Ragnarok knew the truth; thus causing them to fight their fears, “We already faced our fears from the moment this Illusion came and told us about the truth, besides during our travels here, we already faced them,” Czar told the pair as they stood there; awestruck, that just leaves two things left to fear: you guys,” Lucas told Dusknoir and Darkrai as they set their sights at the group, “Now then let’s show you how to really fear someone!” Larwn fired off a Dragon pulse while Lucas fired an aura sphere, finally Czar fired off a Flamethrower at the pair, then Illusion Czar gave off the final blow, “No. . . No, NO!!!!” the pair of pokemon yelled as they soon disappeared from sight once the blast cleared away from their sights.

-Aftermath

Upon the two pokemon being blasted to kingdom come, Illusion Czar applauded them as he went to the center. “Good job you guys, you managed to defeat your demons, now all that is left is one more fear,” He focused at Czar; nodding as he needs to do something, “You helped them face their fears, now its time that they should help you face your fears.” Czar nodded as he looked around and picked up a few sticks and placing them in the center of the room, then using his tail he lit the sticks on fire, after that they sat in a triangle as Czar began to tell them his deepest secret that caused his deepest fear, as Czar kept talking, Illusion Czar began to disappear from sight, reverting back to Czar’s spirit; the human, he waved at Lucas and Larwn one last time before disappearing. “Do you remember anything back when you were a human Czar?” Lucas asked him. “Not anything, the only thing that I remembered was my blacksmithing skills, and my sarcastic b*****d ways,” he said with a laugh. “So what’s it like being a human?” Larwn asked Czar. “It was fun, up to the point where you get swallowed by the darkness that is Darkrai and Dusknoir, I was killed by those pair; trying to protect my friends, so I take it that you guys hate them both since they were your fears, that and other things as well.” Czar moved his hand close to the fire; feeling the warmth of the flame. “Yeah. . . Darkrai haunted my dreams and almost caused my family to separate.” Larwn told him. “I was attacked by a Dusknoir once, and let me tell you; toxic plus double team is a broken combo right there.” Lucas said which made Czar and Larwn laugh. After a few questions and laughs Czar stood up and so did his teammates as Czar told them, “I’m begging you, please keep this a secret, if anyone finds out that I was a human once, they’ll look for me and share their hatred for humans, well at least some of them,” Czar pleaded, looking at his friends they nodded, “your secret’s safe with us.” Larwn and Lucas told Czar, Czar felt the weight on his shoulders loosening up as he could breathe easier now since they have Czar’s back, once after conquering all of their fears, the door leading to where all the teams are meeting up opened in front of them. “Come on guys let’s go meet up with the rest of the guild members, I wonder if they have any interesting stories to tell. . .” Czar laughed a little as they all ran towards the opening; meeting up with the guild members, the guild master, and the two humans.

Yuki & Breid & Tesla

Breid shifted uncomfortably. Deepest fears? Sounds like he was right in his suspicions…although, from what he’d heard, this was no new development. Still, the humans would be at an advantage if anything were to happen to the Pokemon involved. Breid beckoned Tesla and Yuki onwards. Yuki shivered and glanced around before following Tesla, who had bolted forward with no hesitation.

Breid walked between Tesla, going forward recklessly, and Yuki, lagging behind with a little fear. As they progressed through the room, the path became more and more twisting and close. After a few minutes of progress, the three each heard a low whistle carry through the air, around the same time they entered a very wide room that seemed to stretch on forever. Breid glanced to the sides of himself, noticing a lack of windows; despite from the outside there were at least a few for every story. After another few minutes, Breid realized a fog had gathered between him and Tesla, whose shadow was flickering dimly ahead. Breid called out to Tesla to stop, and the shadow halted. Breid looked behind him and saw an approaching shadow. Thinking it was Yuki, he rushed forward towards Tesla’s silhouette.

As he got closer however, Tesla’s shadow warped and got bigger, and sharper. Breid stalled, confused, and that small pause was enough. The shadow lunged and shoved Breid across the ground. Breid grunted and hopped to his feet almost immediately, and looked up at his assailant, who had leaned in. The facial features were still sketchy, but Breid recognized the eyes and glimmering teeth, curving in malicious smile.

“YOU!” Breid shouted, shooting forward, with his fist clenched and loaded with electricity. The shadow shifted to the side, avoiding Breid, and then swiped and tossed Breid back again, harder this time. Breid growled deep in his throat. How was this possible? Could it be…that beast, from that time, came from here!? Hearing soft footsteps behind him, Breid turned around to tell Yuki to run. Before he could say a single word, Breid’s sentence fell out of him as he gasped. Approaching him was not Yuki, but a small, electric rabbit, with red ears and paws.

“B-b…”

“Breid.” The Plusle spoke, glaring fiercely at Breid. The fog was thick around them, still visible though. But Breid barely registered the various injuries checkering the Plusle’s body. Behind him. Breid heard the dark figure chuckle. His mouth agape, Breid swallowed and tried to speak. “B-brother…”

“Breid…Why couldn’t you save me, Breid?”

Breid’s eyes widened. “I…”

“You left me to DIE!”

Tesla had charged forward too fast, and didn’t notice the fog until he though he was maybe halfway into the Wide Room. “Hurry up! What are ya, Slowpokes?” he called back. He grinned, when he saw a shadow rushing forward, becoming sharper and larger. “That’s more like i-“ Tesla began, before realizing the shape was too big to be Breid or Yuki. In the last second before collision, Tesla saw the assailant as a large Rhyperior. Crashing into Tesla, it tossed him a great distance, along with a cloud of fog, clearing visibility in a small circle. Tesla got to his feet and saw the Rhyperior standing tall and stern. Grumbling, Tesla yelled “Followed us in, ya brute?! Well get ready to cry!” before charging at the Rhyperior.

Bracing itself, the Rhyperior expected a useless electric attack, was caught offguard by Tesla swinging an Ice Punch, connecting itself with the Rhyperior’s jaw. Ice spikes bloomed on contact with the Rhyperior, and forced the Ground/Rock hybrid mountain Pokemon backwards. With a shout of victory, Tesla kept with the momentum and swung his foot down, using a Low Kick on the Rhyperior’s abdomen, causing it to grunt and double over.

Tesla grinned and laughed. “Another victory for Tesla! Now to continue…on…wards…” His sentence broke as he saw the Rhyperior stand up and separate into five more surrounding Tesla. The Elekid groaned and made a small, unlikely mental note. I just might lose this one…

Yuki, always the fearful one, lagged behind. So by the time she noticed the fog, she was too far behind them to do anything. Where did Breid and Tesla go? Did…did they abandon her? No, they said they wouldn’t…She sniffed and began to cry.

“WAAAHHH!

“Always resorts to bawling. Just like the cowardly fool you are.” A voice spoke roughly in front of her. Yuki wiped her eyes and looked up. Before her loomed a large Abomasnow, looking down negatively at Yuki. Yuki gasped and fell backwards. “M-mama?!”

“Stupid child. Can’t go anywhere without getting lost.” The Abomasnow said, shaking her head. Yuki blinked and shook her own head, trying to dispel the illusion. “Mama! Mama is that you? Mama!” The Abomasnow ignored Yuki’s cries, still glaring downwards. “Mama, I missed you so much! Why did you-“

“I should never have abandoned you.” The Abomasnow spoke loudly. Yuki gased and blinked tears away. “Oh, Mama! I knew you loved m-“

“I should have killed you.” The Abomasnow spoke swiftly, almost quietly. Glaring stronger now at Yuki, the Snorunt below stammered with wide eyes. “Y-you…you don’t mean that…right, Mama? Right? Right? Mama?”

“Shut up! Worthless child!” the Abomasnow yelled. Yuki sniffed and began to cry.

“You left me to die!” the Plusle repeated, accompanied by the shadow behind Breid laughing. Breid flinched, hurt by the accusation.

“I didn’t! I wanted to save you, but I was knocked out by that thing!” Bried cried, pointing behind him at the laughing shadow. The Plusle frowned and looked away from Breid. “Liar! You fled in fear! You left me to die at the hands of that thing. It’s all your fault I’m like this!”

Breid stepped backwards. His brother’s words were like knives pushing into his skin. Breid grimaced and looked away. He couldn’t stand to hear his brother speak ill towards him. He had never heard it before.Wait…his brother had never spoken ill to him before…

Clenching his fist, Breid took two steps forward. “Who do you think you are!” he shouted. The Plusle cocked his head to the side. “I’m your brother! Or I was, before you let me die…”

“Bullshit!” Breid shouted. “My brother would never assume I would just leave him to die! I loved him! I protected him!!” Furious, Breid began to see what was going on.

“You loved me, and yet you let me die? Some protection.” The Plusle scoffed.

“SHUT UP!” Breid screamed, his voice cracking. “I don’t care if you really are my brother, NOBODY tells me I’ve failed in protecting someone! You aren’t my brother! You don’t know what I’m capable of! My brother is alive out there, and I’m going to find him! And if I didn’t protect him, I’ll make up for it! I’ll protect Tesla, and Yuki, and anyone else who needs it, until I repay my sin! As long as they don’t give up, I won’t either! So don’t go and shove me in the same category as THAT MONSTER!” Breid yelled, shoving his hand at the beast behind him. “Now get your illusions of fear and despair the Well, he thought, I guess I’m headed to Pokehalla, aren’t I… Closing his eyes, Tesla expected to feel enlightened. For a moment, he felt nothing. Then, he felt the tingle of his ears as he heard Breid’s voice carry over the fog. “As long as they don’t give up, I won’t either!”

Tesla smiled wider, and slowly got to his feet. Inhaling, Tesla grinned and jumped up. “I CONCUR!” he shouted, before spinning swiftly and nailing each Rhyperior in the face with a spinning Ice Punch. The Rhyperior simultaneously flew backwards and disappeared into the fog. Tesla landed lightly, panting. The fog slowly began to dissipate.

Yuki cried harder and harder on the room’s floor, the menacing Abomasnow still hovering over her. ”Now, would you like to die?” Yuki was about to answer her mama when she heard the voice of Breid through the fog. “I’ll protect Tesla, and Yuki, and anyone else who needs it!” A few seconds later, the echo of Tesla’s “I CONCUR!” carried over as wall

The final teardrop hit the floor. Yuki wiped her tears away, and looked up at the Abomasnow.

“Now look, Mama! You may not want me, but they do now! I have a family now! One that cares for me and protects me! And if you were a real mama, that’s all you would care about!” Yuki yelled. The Abomasnow, caught off guard, blinked, then smiled and nodded, before vanishing with the fog.

Yuki looked around in confusion, and saw that she was in a much smaller room than before, with Breid and Tesla very close nearby.

Breid shook off the last remnants of his illusion and walked over to a window that was suddenly there. He looked down and saw with surprise that they were no longer on the ground floor, but several stories up! Yuki jumped over to him and smiled weakly. Breid paused for a moment, before smiling back.

Tesla noticed, with dismay, that his battle scars were fading. Thinking quickly, he bit into his palm and pointed his fist at the light beginning to filter into the room from the window. “As long as I fight, there will be winners and losers! But I swear on this blood that as long as I fight, I fight to make sure that I will be a winner far more times than a loser!”

Across from him, Breid nodded in agreement, along with Yuki. “Let’s continue.”

Serene & Sheena

Before the Mission

“So, according to Solaris and the humans, we just need to reach the top. Sounds simple enough.” Sheena’s left most head spoke as the three-headed bee spoke, adjusting her thick glasses with her single wing.

“Screw being simple. I want excitement and fun. It’s not an adventure without fun!” the right head chimed in, her wing buzzing excitedly, wanting their new mission to begin already. The center head simply snored quietly, sleeping away as he siblings began to fly, taking off into the tower.

Serene, however, was still standing at the base of the tower, shaking nervously as she craned her head up, trying to spot the top of the tower, but to no avail. She shook her head, trying to convince herself mentally that everything would be just fine, but her legs wouldn’t listen, remaining firmly planted to the ground. With a sigh, she figured she would let Sheena continue by herself, not wanting to hold her partner back, when she noticed the other teams entering as well, including the pair of humans traveling with Solaris.

“No, I need to do this…” she said to herself, forcing her legs to move, “I know if I follow those humans, I‘ll remember something, so I ju-” she was cut off as Sheena started to push the young psychic to the tower entrance, the right head giggling as she taunted Serene, "Arceus, you're slower that a legless Slaking, you know."

Mission Begin!

As the two entered the tower, Serene scanned the area, marveling at the amazing architecture. Sheena’s right head took over, piloting their body in a circle around the wide space, when something caught her eye. Something sparkly sitting on a slab of rock inside of a small room. The moment her eyes caught sight of the object, she made a b-line for it.
The moment the curious Combee entered the room, everything went black for a moment.

“Hey, what’s going on? What happened to the lights? … Where did my shiny thing go!?” Sheena screamed as she blindly flew around the room, finally crashing into and breaking through a wall, landing in something sticky in a bright, honey-golden room.

“U-gh, what did I land in? It’s all gooey and…” she inhaled, noticing a sweet scent in the air, “sweet? It smells just like… honey…” Sheena flapped her wings, rising up and spinning in a circle, scanning the room, when she realized she was in a familiar place. The hive she once lived at.

“W-what is this? How did I get back here?!” she cried, until something bumped into her. She turned her attention to whatever struck her, only to find a Vespiquen with an angered expression on her face.

”Why aren’t you working, little worker bee? Get to work now, before I toss you to the Beedrill outside!”

Mother?” Sheena whimpered, shaking as she backed up. How? How did her mother, the one being in the world she feared more than anything, find her, and more importantly, how did she wind up back in the hive? She began to fly over to a pool of honey, unsure of what do to, when she remembered something. Her reason for escaping. She left so she could finally leave and explore the world, hating being trapped in the giant hive, unable to have fun, learn, or explore the world…

“No, I left this behind. I’ll never come back, and,” she turned, her wings buzzing strongly as she glared at her ‘mother’, “I’ll never be your slave again!” Sheena charged in the air, crashing into the Vespiquen. The moment the two connected, everything went black once more. Suddenly, light filled the room. Some how, the trio wound up in a stair case leading up to the next floor.

“It was all an illusion?” the left head asked, glancing around the room, whilst the right looked around, a thought crossing her mind. “I… I think that was our worst fear. Being trapped in the hell again.”
The two heads sighed, continuing up the stairs, when both realized something important.

“Where’s Serene?

Still back on the bottom floor, Serene was beginning to panic, running around the main room as she called for Sheena, worried about what had happened to her friend.

“Sheena? Sheena?! Sh-” she stopped entirely as she heard an echoing creak. Assuming Sheena was once again getting into trouble, the Ralts searched the area as she ran towards the sound, only to find a door partially opened.

”Sheena? I-is that you?” Serene asked, cautiously walking through the doorway, but as she walked about halfway in, the door slammed shut and the lights went out, a squeak escaping her as she jumped back, panic quickly setting in.

“This isn’t funny, Sheena. Why are you doing this…” she asked, frightened and unsure of what was happening

“Stop fighting and give us the pokemon!”
Serene yelped, hearing a loud, almost booming voice echo through the room. She shook as she searched the area, finding a small hole, just big enough for a Rattata to fit through. She scurried over, crawling through as quickly as she could, and about halfway through, she was greeted by a bright light. As she climbed out, she found herself on a large, grass covered cliff.

“I said give me the pokemon, or else!”

“You’re out of luck. I’m not in a giving mood.”

“Fine punk. We’ll take it by force then!”

“Those voices again. What’s going on out here?” Serene asked, expecting an answer despite no one being with her. She turned her attention to the edge of the cliff, only to find a group of human shaped creatures, but they were all black. No features. Nothing discernable about them. Just black figures, almost like silhouettes, all except for one figure. A Gardevoir, wearing a ribbon around her waist, much like the one Serene wore around her neck. As she began to piece everything together, she couldn’t help but watch the events unfold. With every action the humans made, she couldn’t help but notice everything the group did seemed familiar, as if she had already witnessed it before. Suddenly, one of the silhouettes, a man most likely from the sound of it’s voice, leaped forward and attacked the Gardevoir with a sharp object. The figure guarding her jumped between the two, getting stabbed in the shoulder before shoving the human backwards into the tall, green and white psychic, sending the pair off the cliff. The moment the two fell, Serene felt a sharp, stabbing pain in her mind, as images and memories started to return.

“I… I’m from the human world. I was that Gardevoir. But how-” she stopped, grabbing either side of her head and dropping to her knees as she tried to herself to remember more, “How did I get here, and who was the human protecting me…”

As she sat on the grass, tears beginning to streak down her cheeks, everything went dark. As she sat in the dark, contemplating everything she had just witnessed, a familiar creak could be heard in front of her. She glanced up, to find a door sliding open in front of her, followed by a Combee floating into the room, one of the heads spitting and gagging as they approached Serene.

“Blaaah, ptooie -spits and wipes tongue off with a wing- Why is it I had to open the door? We could’ve found another way in y’know.” the right-most head spoke, still spitting, leaving the left head to give her retort, “It‘s your fault we went into that one room, so think of it as payback.” she said, grinning as she adjusted her glasses with a wing. The large three-headed bee landed in front of Serene, the center head wearing a worried expression, “Serene honey, are you okay?”

The Ralts sniffled, wiping her eyes with a hand, her head lowered enough so her hair could hide her face. “Y-yeah, I’m just fine…”she spoke softly, before climbing on top of the Combee’s head and giving her antennae a tug, “Let‘s go. I-I just want to get this mission over with…”

“It’s about time. I want to see what else this tower does after the bit with our fears.” The right head said as the trio rose into the air, flying out of the room and heading for the nearest stairwell.

Radik …&&... Nombre ...&&... Isis

The group moved forward, the team known as Team Kapow. They all looked up at the intimidating tower, but the sight of the large building did not scare them off as it would scare of regular pokemon. "Well I guess this is gonna be one heck of an adventure... We'll gotta KAPOW our way through it and it's gonna be AWESOME!" Nombre sweatdropped as he heard the morphed pokemon's words, while Isis just nervously smiled. After all she was not a physically strong pokemon so she wasn't sure that she'd be able to climb all those floors to face the danger that was inside.

So the team waited for a couple of moments before following the rest of the group inside, to take a deep breath before diving in the tower.

---RADIK THE DITTO---

Darkness, pure darkness enveloped the room while silence filled the air. It felt like as if Radik was teleported in a world of pure nothingness. However after several seconds of walking forward and trying to peer through the darkness, the room suddenly lit up and it became so bright that the morphed pokemon felt as if it was being blinded by the light. "What the heck? Who turned the lights back on? And why the heck is it sooo bright?" It said this as it shielded its eyes with its hand... It's blobby jelly-like hand. 'Wait a sec... I'm back to a ditto? And where are Nombre and Isis?'

Radik frowned at this, when did it turn back into a ditto? And when did it get separated from the others?

Closing its eyes, it once again began to try to transform into a Sandshrew once again. After all, it was sure that the others were perfectly fine and holding well on their own. After all this was Team Kapow, they were pretty much invincible and nothing could overcome them! However no matter how clear the image of a Sandshrew was in its mind, nothing happened. It just remained jelly-like and blahish. 'Wait a sec... Why am I not transforming?' It then growled in frustration and concentrated even harder, though nothing was happening. Nothing at all. "WHAT'S GOING ON?!" It shouted this at the top of its lungs and its voice echoed over and over again. Because sure, the ditto knew that it was difficult to transform into big pokemon such as Onix and Gyarados. However, not being able to transform into a Sandshrew?! This was unacceptable! Purely unacceptable!

However soon enough the sound of its voice was overpowered by the sound of a crowd 'booing'. Soon enough the room transformed into a massive stadium with Radik being in the center of it while pokemon of all shapes and sizes were sitting and standing in the stands, throwing berries at Radik and booing loudly at the ditto. "What the hell?! TRANSFORM ALREADY YOU PATHETIC BLOB!" "YEAH WE WANT TO SEE YOU TURN INTO LUGIA!" "NINETAILS" "MEWTWO" "JUST TURN INTO SOMETHING!"

The sounds were flooding the stadium, complaints, requests, and 'boos' were being shouted from all directions and Radik kept trying and trying. Nothing kept happening. Nothing at all. No transformation. No matter how clearly it could imagine itself turning into a ground-type pokemon, nothing happened. "THIS IS NOT HAPPENING!!!! I NEED TO TRANSFORM!" Dittos are nothing without their ability to transform. If they don't transform they become useless, and if they are useless... Then they might as well be dead 'cause they ain't gonna become famous well-known pokemon explorers.

However, soon enough, Radik took a deep breath and then grinned... Perhaps it didn't need to transform. It was good at other things too! And after that thought phased through its mind, a door with a 'x' appeared on it and in less than a second the ditto opened the door and left the stadium.

---NOMBRE THE NINCADA---

Meanwhile, a bug-type pokemon rolled his eyes as he moved forward. He like the morphing pokemon was surrounded by a blanket of darkness and silence. However this did not seem to bother him much until the scenery began to suddenly change. From the darkness, trees sprouted out of the ground, and the room became lighter until the whole room transformed into a forest during the twilight. It was as if time had fast forwarded to midnight and the power of the building had transported him to his old home. His old home that he had abandoned so many years ago.

'What the hell?'

The forest was just like he remembered it, the smells, the sounds, the feeling of the damp grass beneath his feet. It was all as if he took a magical teleporter into the past. It was certainly very fascinating yet something felt off. However what exactly this 'thing' was, Nombre was not sure, but whatever it was... It was seriously getting to him. 'I wonder why out of all the locations in the world to go to I was taken here... And everything is intact too... How curious...' He looked left and right, trying to see if he could spot something. anything that could be a tell-tale sign of what was wrong with this place.

Then the smell of smoke filled the air.
"WAIT!"

Now memories flooded the Nincada's mind, memories of the night when the forest was shrouded in smoke and covered in flames, then finally turned into ashes. However, perhaps this was a chance for him to change everything and save his home. Perhaps this was a second chance to save her. Pale green eyes narrowed down with determination as the usually emotionless bug-type pokemon charged forward, moving through the forest with such speed and skill that he most likely looked like a blur weaving through the forest. 'Perhaps it won't be too late'

The forest's clearing came into view, beautiful, peaceful, serene. In the center of it, a lone Butterfree fluttered amongst the lovely flowers that made the forest well-known and mystical. "Serafina!" Nombre shouted this and this caught the Butterfree's attention as she raised her head up and glanced over in his direction. "We need to get out of here... NOW!" The Butterfree named Serafina looked puzzled, but before she could speak up and question Nombre, laughter filled the air.

"Pa-the-tic"

Each syllable was uttered separately and with emphasis. The voice was definitely feminine but it was also rather deep and dark, almost as if pure evil energy was being poured out of the lips of the furred being who revealed herself from the shadows and into the clearing. Beautiful? No doubt. Terrifying? Just as much. This four-legged creature moved with extreme grace, god-like grace that made it seem as if her feet never touched the ground. Nine tails moved separately behind the female fox-like creature, yet even though they all moved at the same time, they still seemed to enhance her other-worldlyness and beauty, However, the grin on her lips, the glint in her dark eyes, and her soft but demeaning chuckle seemed to instill pure fear in Nombre's soul.

Was it even possible for a simple non-legendary pokemon such as a Ninetails to be able to emit such an aura of darkness and power around the area?
"Serafina come to me now!"

However, just like last time. The delicate bug/flying-type pokemon was enveloped and covered by lavender-colored flames before collapsing down on the ground. Dead. It was almost as gut wrenching as it was the first time this happened, although perhaps it was worse this time since he knew what was coming and was not able to stop it in time. "You monster!" Pure hatred was in Nombre's tone of voice as he charged forward, using Double Team to create multiple copies of itself.

The Ninetails however did not seem to flinch at all at the sight of hundreds of Nincadas coming her way, instead a smirk graced her facial features and more chuckles filled the air. Taking in a deep breath of air, the fox-pokemon then opened her mouth and in no longer than a moment later... A wave of fire came out of her mouth, as large as a 'Surf' attack, but instead of rushing water heading in his way... It was pure fire, fire the color of lilac flowers. Flowers that currently being turned to ashes. However, instead of running away he quickly used 'Dig' to avoid the fire-type attack.

Once he was underground, a door seemed to appear with a x on it, and Nombre raised his brow at this, but he opened it anyway and went through it.

---ISIS THE LEAFFEON---

It was odd, wasn't she with Radik and Nombre not too long ago? Isis swore she entered the building with both of those pokemon by her side. Then why could she not feel their presence nearby her as she padded lightly in the dark room? However, the lights soon flickered on and as soon as it did, blood was seen on the ground, on the walls, and even on the ceiling where it was dripping down and landing in premade puddles of blood. It was just pure red bloody liquid everywhere. A terrifying sight. 'Oh gosh...' Soon enough, figures began to appear in the room, all of them decapitated or wounded severely in some way, shape, or form. The worst part though was the fact that they were all not only dead, but they were pokemon she could recognize. 'Tidak... Etoile...Zorro...Killer...Circe...Mare Regina....Kami....Mesina She could name them all from the top of her pretty little head.

It was completely disturbing, and with each passing moment, more dead bodies would appear. All dead. Completely and utterly lost without a single shred of hope of being able to aide any of them back to full health. It was simply depressing and she felt as if she was slowly rotting away in the inside at the amount of hopelessness that she felt deep within her soul.

If the Leafeon could think of only one positive thought in this room then that thought would be that the one she loved the most was not in any single part of the room. Lucy was safe. And this, this was the only thing that was keeping the grass-type eevee evolution from collapsing and sobbing her heart off at all the lives lost. For this was too much, too much for her to handle. Or at least this was true until she heard a voice.

"I-I-Is-Isis.... He-Help m-m-me"
Lucy seemed to suddenly appear in the center of the room, magenta fur now officially pure red due to the amount of blood that seemed to pour out of various parts of her body. A truely gruesome sight, but unlike the others... She was still alive.

This small shred of hope managed to make a door appear from out of thin air and Isis was more than glad to walk through it.

Hoot & Chopin

Hoot's eyes widened slightly as she thought about it. Chopin began to enter the tower, or so she thought, so she padded after him. Her feet barely making a sound. She had a paw up by her mouth, and she seemed to be deep in thought. Really, she was lost in fear. She wasn't up for this mission, she missed her warm couch in her warm room, nuzzling and snoozing next to Chopin's warm flames. Had she been paying attention, she would have realized she wasn't following Chopin. Instead, she was following a figure that was slowly losing...figure. It became more and more dark until it was pitch black. It lost more and more shape until it was just about a blob of black...As she walked farther and farther into the place, it also got more dark. It took a while before she looked up too. Of course, by the time she looked up, it was too late. She was falling...her stomach was nearly in her mouth, her ears felt like they were about to rip off, and the silence suddenly a loud whooshing sound that was giving her a rather bad headache.

And her speed only increased...She had heights, oh how she hated them...her eyes began to well with tears, and she couldn't tell if it was because of the intense wind, or because of how scared she was. She tried to look down, but her eyes were too watery, the world was a big moving blur. "CHOPIN?!! PLEASE??" Her screams were lost to the seemingly infinite darkness. The fear began to increase as she realized she was either going to hit ground and die, or fall forever...she wanted neither of the two...what if she survived the fall? All broken and tattered and waiting for help, help that would never come...? She missed Chopin...where was he...? Where was Ghost? Howie? Toby? Would she ever see them again? Yet...she didn't regret leaving home...As she thought about why she left home, and all her happy memories with Chopin, she began to cry...Tears of sorrow and fear mixed with happiness...pain, guilt...she was too young, wasn't she? As she choked on a sob, her body hit something. It was cold, and she was immiediatly submersed.

Water? She was in water? Her eyesight was blurry from the tears, and there was no light to reflect the water. She tried to swim up, but which way was up? She was so disorientated...She tried swimming in every direction, but she couldn't swim straight...or at least she couldn't tell if she was...She had no way of knowing which way to go, and even if she did, she couldn't keep a straight course without a target...She flailed as she realized she was running out of air...Her body was telling her to open her mouth, and to stop depriving herself of air...but she wasn't! She was in water...how far under? For how long? What the hell was happening?! She couldn't tell if she was crying or not as she just let herself float...what could she do...? Chopin would want her to fight...fight for as long as she could...but she couldn't feel it in her...she couldn't feel any strength...So you'd be ok with never seeing Chopin again? Can you just let yourself float here with that in your mind? You're never going to see them again. Unless you try...try! She closed her eyes so tight...and then had an idea...She could feel herself getting dizzy from the lack of air...How long was it? 10 minutes until your body forces you to breathe in? With any strength she had, she sent electricity to her cheeks, and released a Thunder Bolt attack.

~

Chopin had seen Hoot padding in all by herself, and trailed after her. Worried at how she looked...why was she walking so fast? And without him? He wanted to put her back to bed...But he knew he couldn't just retrieve her that easily...Yet, as soon as he entered the Tower, he lost her. "Hoot? This isn't a game you know! This place is the real deal..." Yet he knew better...he knew this place was going to mess with his head, and Hoot was the thing he held most dear...of course it would take her away...He just had to keep down to Earth. Nothing would really hurt him in here...would it? A giant Yanmega approached him...the sound itself made Chopin want to cry...as it neared, he also realized it wasn't just giant...it was massive...three times the size of an above avreage Yanmega. He cringed and fought throwing up as it began to talk to him. "Heeeello there. I've cooome to teeell you about your friiiiend....Hoot." He had a raspy, insect voice...Chopin had to close his eyes...he talk like most Ekans did...He shivered, and the Yanmega continued. "Weeee've captured her....we're gooooing to kiiill her..." It smiled at him, which made Chopin turn to his side, and double over. He began to shake as he saw his vomit on the ground..."Uugh...I....Hoot!" He recovered just as fast as he had let go of all that digested food. Hoot was his life! Who cared if he had puked? He turned around to face the giant bug, but it was gone. He twirled around, the room he had been in...it had gotten smaller...And looked like...a mall? He shivered...picturing all those zombie flicks he had made Hoot watch...when the people would get stuck or take shelter in the mall, and defend themselves against zombies...of course, he wasn't afraid of zombies. Those didn't look too hard to take care of...what he was more scared of was being locked and alone in a mall...but not really being alone...Just as the thought went through his brain, he heard a maniacal laughter. His eyes widened as he looked around...yet...his vision was not as vast...He brightened his flames, and ran.

Chopin had always been afraid of sharp objects, and being beaten with blunt objects...he didn't like murder films, and he hated reading about real murder cases...'The Strangers' was his worst nightmare...Of course, as soon as THIS thought went through his brain...the setting changed. He was now in a very bright house. It was cozy looking...almost like his team room. He groaned...he knew they were playing with him...but he couldn't help but to keep thinking about his worst nightmares...How could he keep them out of his brain? But just as he tried to think of a plan, he heard something from the floor above him...and someone knocking at the door...Tears in his eyes, he tried to ignore it. He had to find Hoot. But how was he going to do that...? He had so much else to deal with! He hoped she was fending for herself well enough, but he knew that she'd get lost in the fear...A small whistling from behind him made him think he might too...

He knew not to check the door, and that the three characters from the movie were just going to mess with him...instead he'd try to outsmart them...he knew how the movie went, so he'd go downstairs and shut the door they were coming in from...or whatever it was...was it a window? "Chopin! It's me Hoot!" His attention was drawn back to the door. Hoot? He ran over, but didn't open it...there was no way to look outside, to see if it really was Hoot...It was her voice...that small, adorable voice...his heart began to melt. He couldn't leave her outside with those cruel beings! He opened the door, but instead of it being Hoot, it was a small Ralts girl in a blue dress...Chopin went to close the door, but all she did was continue, "Sorry, I just...the weather is a mess! And...well, I need to borrow your phone!" She was claiming how she couldn't teleport, when Chopin just shook his head, closed and locked the door. Again, the foot steps from upstairs kept him from trying to out wit the visitors...He cried out a bit, "Why?! WHY?! I need to get HOOT!" Bangs came from the sides of the house, foot steps from above him...and...screaming? Some one was shrieking! Shrieking what? At first it sounded something like..."HELP! HELP! MAD MAD MAN!" Then it changed to something more teasing..."HAHA! We're gonna kill you! We're gonna KILL YOU!"

Three creatures were all of a sudden in front of him. A Gengar wearing a sack mask over his head, the Ralts with a doll mask, and a Vileplume also in a strange mask...Chopin got to his knees, losing himself to the fear..."Why...? Why?! Hoot..." They all had weapons now...all rather blunt...one of them also held some rope...He nearly cried..."Cause you were home?" As if the answer was obvious...

~

Hoot blinked...not once...not twice....but three times before she finally picked up her head...she lolled her head a bit, groggily...she felt tired...her lungs felt a bit sore...where was she...? More importantly...where was Chopin? As she got to her feet, she realized she was in an alley...She was in a city? A cold breeze made her shiver. Her fur was wet...She put a paw up to her throbbing head..."What a bad headache..." She poked her head out of the alley...she looked left...then right...Stepping out, she tried to picture where she was...

Humans...everywhere...she had to dodge around their feet. Could they not see her? Was that good or bad? She didn't feel like being seen...no, she needed to get to Chopin. The city smelled bad. Cars left fumes in her face...she nearly tripped into three or four manholes...She groaned, just wanting to be away...wanting to be back with Chopin...Of course, just as her fear began to slip away, a giant claw wrapped around her. Up...up...up she went. "More heights?! NO! Please..." Her voice cracked at the end, as she broke into tears...why wouldn't this just end? She had just somehow escaped her last two deaths...

Her tears continued for who knows how long, until the giant creature finally landed upon a bridge. It cackled at her, as it took flight and left her. Not without sending her a big gust from it's wings however. "Freaking Staraptor..." She of course thought this to herself. She tried to look over the ledge of the portion of the bridge she was left at, but she felt vomit creep up into her throat. She pulled herself back and sat...The wind was powerful...sounds of speeding cars beneath her...Humans...disgusting humans that didn't take care of the Earth...if she fell she'd either be killed by them and their giant moving metal machines, or fall into the water...Falling...what a sickening thought...Oh how she hated heights...She began to cry...as she did it began to snow. She loved the snow, but feared freezing to death...All of the fear began to anger her...She stood up, and sucked in a large amount of air, about to yell at the sky...when the bridge disappeared...She closed her eyes, pretending she wasn't falling...she wanted to curse gravity...but...

All of a sudden...the feeling of air rushing past her vanished...she felt warmth...she felt...safe? She opened her eyes..."CHOPIN!" Chopin nuzzled her. They were in a house? It looked a bit like their team room, Hoot thought. In the corner, three Pokemon...A Gengar, Ralts, and Vileplume were all tied up...their eyes all swirly as they were dazed...Hoot looked back up at Chopin, who just shook his head, "It's not real...got to keep our heads..." She looked at him....wide eyed...then threw herself around him. Still shivering and shaking.

Sinistrad xx Runoura

The Tower of Origins. It was an intimidating structure that seemed to hold the potential to make even Legendary's quail before its might. Therefore, when two considerably small Pokemon approached it they both froze for a moment, one in terror, the other in uncertainty. After a moment or so, Sinistrad recovered, muttering to himself about never letting pathetic humans outdo him. Sure, the idea of con-artists had come from the devilish two-legs but that didn't mean it couldn't be improved to its full potential. "Peh! Come along Runoura. This place will be no match and the treasure will be well worth it." he claimed with rather well hidden false-bravado. Together they entered, albeit, the Snorunt walking a few paces behind her would-be protector. Whatever was going to happen, it would by no mean be easy to accomplish.

Shadows wrapped around the two Pokemon, completely blinding both. For the time being, Rune was doing alright for she could feel one of Sinny's legs extended backwards. Gingerly she held the appendage and tried to find her way through the gloom. Suddenly, something happened to knock her back and then she knew she was truly alone in the dark. The Spinarak also felt the blow and spun around to face his enemy, only to be met with emptiness. He was terrified. She was terrified. They were both terrified, alone and yet together in the sinking feeling of despair...

~::Sinistrad's Trial::~

Dark eyes glowered unseeingly into the unending void, desperately wanting to move forward and yet at the same time, hesitant to take another step. It felt as if he were suspended in space with nothing to hold onto. Sinny might have actually tried praying to Arceus if this state of non-existence lasted much longer! Any sane Pokemon could surely be driven to the brink of madness simply by staying here in this blanket of shadow. Just as it was getting to a point where he was seriously considering pinching himself till he bled, light flooded in. Wincing at the sudden appearance, he drew back and froze before hesitantly peeking one eye open to test if it was still painful to look around. It wasn't.

Opening his eyes completely now, he scanned the wide open area with a calculating a curious gaze. Everything was white. As far as the eye could see and not a single speck of black to upset the totality of the isolation he felt. "This is almost as bad as the black!" he hissed in irritation, deciding he might as well try to get a move on to see if he could even escape this odd world. He wouldn't admit it, but he was slightly uncomfortable with being so completely alone with absolutely not another soul in sight. Skittering as swiftly as his legs would permit, he began to cross the sea of white. After what felt like hours, he finally came to a stop and gave a scream of anger in despair. "The hell do you want from me!?" he roared to absolutely no one.

His voice echoed around for a while before all fell silent again. Panting, he turned his head this way and that, desperately searching for an exit. An entrance. A ladder. Anything! That's when it came. A great, crashing wave of smoke and shadow, pouring in from seemingly nothing at all. It thrashed and wisped across the ground, reaching out greedy, tentative tendrils to both steal and give. Really, it didn't make any sense at all but at this moment in time, it did. The thick smog formed a complete circle around the trembling Spinarak until there was absolutely no escape besides attempting to run straight through it. From Sinistrad's experiences, it wouldn't be smart to run right into an unknown substance. However, now that there was something to focus on, his nasty attitude was back and he was just waiting for a challenge. "Ha! That's all you've got you idiotic Tower!?" he snickered, readying an attack to test the proverbial waters.

Just before he could try to fire off a Spider Web, a low moaning sound pervaded the air and the approaching fog suddenly went dead still. Blinking, the Spinarak tried to look closer into the smog for the source of the sound. Then all at once it appeared. The transition was not immediate and it most certainly wasn't obvious. Some might consider it beautiful, how easily the figured gave the illusion of melting from the mist and into the open white battle field. Narrowing his eyes even more, he suddenly saw what was lumbering towards him. Breath caught in his throat and his hearts began to beat madly in his heart. Disfigured. Each and every one of them were horribly and grotesquely injured! The evil little Spinarak gave a blood-curdling cry and turned to run away.

There was only one problem with this method of survival. His escape route was blocked by even more of the hideous things. Taillow's without eyes, Aerodactyls with tattered wings and legs chopped clean off, Bidoof's slavering towards him without tail nor head. Hundreds of Pokemon, all with some deformity or missing limbs. Sinistad couldn't take it. He spun again and again, frantic to find a way out. Frantic to not lose his mind! Ever so slowly the masses crawled towards him until they were within arms (or lack thereof) reach. Every sense and reflex he had failed him. As the monstrosities began to pile on top of him, Sinny passed out into welcoming darkness.

~::Runoura's Trial::~

Rune went through a similar beginning at her cruel teammate. There was nothing but darkness and a feeling of being completely alone. However, unlike Sinistrad, the Snorunt did not panic. Instead, she blinked her large blue eyes and began to walk. Being alone wasn't so scary. In fact, it was being around lots of other Pokemon that made her shy nature kick in and her desire to be alone rise stronger than ever. "I... hope SInistrad's okay." she whispered, pausing to look back over her shoulder as if she might catch sight of some clue or perhaps a blotch of his tell-tale crimson carapace. Of course, she needn't have done so for been if he was but two paces away, the darkness would have prevented her from seeing.

Needless to say, whatever force was controlling these illusions did not like the fact it was being ignored one bit. Even as she walked, her surroundings began to change. It was like coming out of a locked trunk to find a beautiful and lush new world. The black fog sloughed off like old skin to reveal a great forest brimming with life. Pokemon of all kinds were enjoying themselves and while this was not of any particular interest to the young Snorunt, something else was. All of her teammates as well as her friends were there! They were enjoying themselves and the pleasant surroundings they found themselves in. Auron beckoned to her, mouthing something that she was sure meant 'come and join'. While normally not a social Pokemon, this setting seemed too good to pass up. It might have done her well to remember the saying 'too good to be true'.

Trotting up to her team she was delighted to find her Sableye friend the GD as well as Liena and the other cute, shy friends she had met in the Courtyard. Everything was fine and dandy... that is, until an unknown force began attacked her loved ones. Out of no where great slashes appeared across arms, and chests, and faces, spraying blood everywhere. They were all dying around her. "V-vhat is going..." "Vira, where are you!?" "R-Rune!" Their voices filled the air like some macabe cacophany and she began to back away, horrified.

Suddenly, the unseen became visible and she found herself staring up at a hulking figure of a Kabutops. Scars marred his face and body and his eyes felt like they were burning with insanity. A screeching cackle erupted from his throat as he threw his head back and laughed. Practically frozen by fear, she could only watch as he slaughtered her friends and painted this odd realm a sickly shade of red. "Wh-why?" she stammered, tears falling down her once pristine white cheeks now flawed by the metallic presence and scent of blood. "Because I can!?" was the shrill reply as he approached the two last living Pokemon. Her adoptive father, and her closest friend.

Both were looking at her with uncharacteristically pleading eyes. Runoura knew she should fight but... It was so against her nature and she had never even used a move in her life! The scythe raised high in the air, poised to swing down and lop the heads off of both Pokemon in one fell swoop. Something inside of the Snorunt broke. Suddenly she was running towards the Kabutops, tears blurring her vision. Swiftly she used a Powder Snow to throw off its balance before latching onto his head with a powerful Crunch. "Leaaa mmur frruns alun!" she cried as best as she could. Suddenly the darkness returned and the nightmare was over. Runoura had learned she could fight and while she did not want to, she realized she would for the sake of her friends.

Ally + Dante

Ally gasped in awe as she stared at the giant tower.
"Wow." she said, "That's pretty damn tall." Dante slapped her on the back of the head.
"Watch your language. You're a lady." Ally stuck out her tongue at Dante, but, luckily for her, he was looking away from her, instead looking up at the clouds. Dante grimaced as he squinted his eyes up at the clouds.
"You can't even see the top," he muttered. I am SO not looking forward to this, he thought, contemplating how much his feet would hurt once they reached the top. Ally turned to face Dante, smiling with anticipation.
"You ready?" she asked. "As ready as I'll ever be," Dante said with a frown.

---

Ally blinked, trying to make her eyes adjust to the pitch black darkness inside the tower.
"Pretty damn dark, eh Dante?" she asked, attempting to peer further into the darkness. But Dante didn't answer. Silence.
"Dante?" she called again, but again, her voice echoing quietly was the only noise in the darkness. She stepped forward.
"C'mon, Dante. This isn't funny." He was so dead when she found him. Soooo dead. She carefully felt along the ground, trying to reach a wall. Instead, she nearly fell forward when her paw slipped off the edge of what felt to be a cliff. She quickly paced backwards, until she felt rocks crumbling under one of her back paws. She hopped forward, her breathing quick and short. Suddenly, a tiny bit on light began to shine from above. Once her eyes adjusted, she panicked. The small Eevee found herself standing on a tall cliff, the bottom seemed to go on for ever.
"What the...?" she gasped. She turned in circle, but it seemed she was stuck on a tiny platform. She closed her eyes, panicking.
"Dante!" she shouted into the darkness. "Dante, please!" She turned around again, but this time, the tiny platform seemed to extend into one direction. Cautiously, she took a step onto it, fearing it would turn to rubble under her feet. When it seemed that the ground was perfectly solid, she started running, shouting Dante's name as she ran. She stopped when her paws slammed into a small staircase. Without a second thought, she hurried up the stairs, hoping to find her partner.

---

Dante was pissed. Very, very pissed. It appeared that his annoying partner had abandoned his on their first and very important mission. He stomped further into the dark tower, contemplating what kind of pokémon would live in such a dark place. As he placed down his foot, his foot seemed to be caught.
"What the heck...?" he said in confusion as he attempted to pull his leg free. He set his hand down on the soft ground, trying to pull his leg out off the floor. Instead, his hand sunk further in.
"Oh no," he said to himself, "Quicksand!?" He flailed his other arm, trying to catch hold of anything he could use to pull himself out, but his legs and one of his arms sunk further below the surface.
"Ally!" he cried out, "Ally, help me!" Now panicking, he tried to dig his way out, plunging his free hand into the sand, which only caused his to be stuck even more. He struggled as the sand pulled his in further, now reaching up to his torso.
"Ally? Anyone! Someone help me!" he called into the darkness, but the silence remained. He shook his head, tears forming in his eyes. It seemed to his he wasn't going to make it through his first mission. He silently hoped to himself that his partner was okay, as he had sunk further up to his chin. With took one last breath before his head was pulled under the sand, but instead of suffocating, he began falling. He opened his eyes, but in the pitch black darkness, he couldn't see a thing. After a few seconds, he hit solid ground with a thud. He looked around, trying to see a way out, when he saw a staircase. He took off running toward it.
"Now," he said, his voice full of determination, "To find Ally."

---

Ally was lost. Genuinely lost. Although this floor was considerably lighter than the previous two had been, the little Eevee seemed to be going in circles. Muttering some curse words under her breath, she continued stomping along in the tower. Her ears perked up when she heard something that sounded like laughter behind her. She quickly turned around expecting to see her partner standing there, but instead there was no one, and the laughter ceased. As she turned back again, ready to continue on, the laughter began again, only this time, it was louder. She whipped her head around, anticipating silence and for there to be no one there, but instead a ball of purple gas was hovering above her. The ball of gas slowly turned around, revealing the smiling face of a Ghastly.
"Gh-gh-gh-ghosts!" Ally gasped, falling backwards over her feet. As she picked herself up, more of the floating purple gas balls flew right out of the walls and ground. She hopped to her feet and took off sprinting.
"Go away!" she cried. Even though she would never tell anyone, little Ally was very afraid of ghost type pokémon. She continued to run as fast as her feet would carry her, but it seemed that the ghost pokémon were just a little bit faster. They soon caught up with her and surrounded her. She was ready to fight, but her normal type moves had no effect on the ghosts. Panicking, she ran through one of them, seeing a staircase in the distance. She sprinted toward it, growing very tired of this stupid tower.

---

Dante seemed to be feeling the same way. He dragged his feet along the ground. Sure, this tower had 100 floors (at least that's what people thought), but he was on the fourth ad already sick of it. His voice had began to hurt from calling Ally's name over and over, and he was beginning to think that she had left the tower after they had been separated. His feet weren't used to walking around so much like the other teams. He bent over to rub his very sore feet, but jumped when he heard a noise behind him. Laughter. Insulting laughter, like when someone is making fun of you. He began to shake lightly.
"Ally? Is that you?" He called into the darkness. But the laughter continued. Another voice joined in, then another, and another. A chorus of voices, their laughter filling the air.
"Ally... C-come on out. I k-know it's you," he mumbled. He was lying to himself. He knew it wasn't her, but it was less frightening to think that it was. He backed up, shaking his head.
"Whatever it is, it isn't funny," he said, his voice shaking even though he fought to make it sound firm. However, no matter how much he pleaded, the laughter continued, he closed his eyes, shaking his head violently in a pitiful attempt to make it stop. He forced his eyes open, searching for the familiar staircase to the next floor. It didn't seems to be anywhere near, so he took off running down the hall. The laughter seemed to follow him the entire way. He was filled with relief when he finally saw it in the distance, and he didn't stop running until he was all the way up the stairs.

---

Ally peered into the darkness, thinking that she could see some of the other teams in the distance. Unfortunately for her, her partner had not stopped running after he got up the stairs. Dante slammed into Ally, sending the two to the ground.
"What the hell!" she yelled, before taking a closer look at her 'attacker'. "Dante!" she called out excitedly. Dante wrapped his arms around her. "For the love of Arceus, that was terrible," Dante said with a frown as he slowly stood up. Ally nodded in reply as she worked her way to her feet. She opened her mouth to say some stupid comeback, but Dante put his hand over her mouth.
"Do you hear something?" he asked quietly. Ally muttered something, but it was impossible to make out what because of Dante's hand. "It sounds like something is rolling."
Unfortunately, Dante was right. A rather large group of Voltorb had rolled up to them. And they looked pissed. One of them began to glow, and it wasn't evolving. It was using Self-Destruct.
"OH FOR THE LOVE OF MEW," Ally shouted after she had pulled Dante's hand off of her mouth. With a quick glance to each other, Team Harmony began sprinting away, as each of the Voltorb behind them exploded. After about 30 explosions, it seemed to be over. They both turned around to check, breathing heavily. It seemed that the group of Voltorb had disappeared. Ally turned and gave Dante a big smile. With a sigh, Dante turned to meet up with the other teams, Ally close behind him.
