RP #1: In which there is a messy meetingIt seemed that Dormin had not actually moved in several days, sitting calmly while waiting on a significant amount of nothing to happen. Or apparently that had been the case. No, the rains hadn’t quite dried yet, leaving Dormin to wait. Why?
Because he was a heavy beast and moving in that weather would have caused him to sink into the mud. However, something in him knew that what it was he was waiting for would be slowly approaching, so waiting where he was for the time being served to be no hassle. However, the ‘meeting’ he would be having that day would be a little bit different from what it was he was waiting for.
Instead of a swamp child that he’d been waiting for since before they had been born, today’s meeting came in the form of a god-child. The white beast was moving carefully through the muck caused by the recent rains, stepping lively over the carefully over particular spots of deeper-looking mud. Unfortunately for one of her companions, moving was not happening as quickly as it could have been.
Iustitia had paused in the middle of her walking to look back at the faded-colored Klipspringer, ‘hmmm’ing thoughtfully as Pygo paused to try and take a leap over the squishy surface. “Do you need a hand?” she asked, brows furrowed together, causing the girl to look almost…angry. It was an amusing look to those who knew her differently.
Pygo frowned.
“i-I can manage!” she said quietly as another familiar took perch on her back, the avian ruffling his feathers to preen.
“I’m sure you can.” Hringer said, sounding almost sarcastic, causing Pygo to buck to shake him off, only to land face-first in the mud. Iustitia sighed before turning to go and grab the poor thing. She carefully stepped over the mud, nosing the klipspringer to her feet. Following this, the goddess attempted to use one of her wings to scoop Pygo up.
This attempt failed, half in part due to the klipspringer’s flailing, and partially due to the fact that Iustitia’s wings were NOT strong enough to support the little creature’s weight. This was a fact Hringer found hilarious as both of them fumbled into the mud.
However, the laughing soon died down as Hringer noticed the approach of another large god.. one which was almost twice the size of the young Laws. Iustitia, slowly rising to her feet, seemed horrendously threatened by the approach of the large god, Dormin pausing as he partially sunk into the wet earth. It seemed the only one who was around and wouldn’t be ending this meeting covered in mud was Hringer.. who had taken up perch on Iustitia’s shoulder.
“Hey!” Hringer practically shrieked, his voice radiated into her ‘brain’, Iustitia’s ears flattening against her head. Dormin also seemed to wince at the sound, squinting… though it looked more like a leer, causing Pygo to also shriek and fumble in the mud, practically plowing Iustitia over… back into the mud.
“We thinkst that thou should stop leaping into the wet earth…” Dormin finally spoke, his voice radiating far more powerfully than even Hringer’s voice had, voice radiating through the ground and through rock…
It made Iustitia shiver in the mud while stepping out of it, shaking her paws to fling flecks of it about, getting a few more pieces of the stuff onto Pygo, who squawked in panic.
Ahh! Big lions, big lions!
“Well, I wasn’t trying to throw myself in the mud!!” Iustitia threw back at the larger god, causing the avian on her wing to be flung off of him, causing Hringer to teeter a bit too close to Dormin, answering this with another loud shriek of horror.
“Hringer, stop that!” Iustitia shrieked back at the avian. Dormin simply frowned after it.
“We would believest thou keeps some loud company.” Dormin said, spreading his wings out.
Iustitia frowned back at him again.
“You think so??” she spat, her feathers ruffling. Pygo was practically cowering behind the small goddess.
“Go away!” She shrieked at the god, causing Hringer to shriek as well, making Iustitia roar louder than either of her companions.
“WHAT IS THE DEAL???” she snapped, swatting lightly at Pygo, who was being more annoying than Hringer (despite his voice-of-all-piercing-sounds). This caused Pygo to straggle back a bit from the goddess before she again looked to Dormin.
“Do you need something?” she finally asked, with some degree of earnestness. Dormin seemed to not be bothered by the sounds of the female’s shrieking familiars. It was no problem.
“We are simply seeking one whom will be seeking our guidance.” he answered, causing Iustitia to frown with a little bit of confusion. She… wasn’t sure what it was he was saying he was seeking. However, she’d manage somehow.
Dormin then nodded back to her.
“We believe we canst helpst thou find what thy seek.” he finally said, causing Iustitia’s feathers to ruffle again and Hringer to again shriek.
“How would you know what she is looking for??”
Iustitia snarled at the bird for his bad manners.
“Can you?” she asked, suddenly feeling a good degree more anxious in this male’s presence. Did he really have the ability to herd her where she wanted to go?
Dormin seemed to know exactly what she was thinking.
“Come. We shall show thee.” he said, slowly turning in the mud, his large wings folded against his sides before he started to pace away…
Iustitia followed immediately, much to the protest of her companions.
“Just for a little while, we’ll see what he can show me.”

RP #2: In which splash-wars are awesome
It seemed like they had been walking forever, Iustitia sighing deeply as they continued to travel. Certainly, it would have been easier to just.. FLY where it was she was seeking, but Dormin wasn’t about to allow it to go by as easily as that had been and unfortunately for Pygo….
She couldn’t fly. Hringer could, Iustitia could, and Dormin could, but nope, the klipspringer couldn’t. Darn, sucked to be her! However, it didn’t make a difference at that time in her life, sighing deeply as she followed along behind the large hulking god, whom Hringer had at least taken some sort of silent liking to, perched on one of Dormin’s horns as he traveled.
It must have been nice to be able to just sit on someone else and allow THEM to walk for you. Hringer didn’t seem to think anything of it. Likewise, Dormin didn’t mind either. So it seemed the only one who DID mind was Iustitia and Pygo, who was just hoping the two gods didn’t suddenly get hungry…
Afterall, they pair HAD been traveling for what seemed like a few days after that point in time they had called their ‘meeting’. In fact, they hadn’t even stopped to clean their paws off from it all. Pygo HAD suggested a pause-in-travel for clean up at one point, but both of them had ignored it.
However, Iustitia was getting more and more anxious as time went on to take a break.
“C-can we stop soon?” she asked awkwardly, causing Dormin to pause and glance back over his shoulder at the lioness, his expression seeming to be more ‘bored’ than actually annoyed that they needed to take a break at that point in the game.
“Doth thou require food or perhaps to preen over thy cleanliness?” he asked quietly, having discovered quite quickly that the continuous booming of his voice both spooked Pygo and Hringer, but also gave the law-goddess a small headache. It was something that she did appreciate him doing.
His question did cause Pygo to shiver a bit. W-Was she going to be eaten???
Iustitia was almost tempted to lick the klipspringer to see what would happen, in terms of shock.. but she didn’t want to suddenly have to chase down a lost companion. So ultimately…
“Just some washing.” She answered awkwardly. D-did that make her sound vain? Oh she had to hope it didn’t. But Dormin didn’t say anything about it, turning his head and perking his ears to listen carefully…. He could hear water.
“This way.” he said quietly again, sighing deeply as he changed his direction, Iustitia following along after him on his heels. She was perfectly content with seeming like a nagging female if it meant she wouldn’t be feeling crinkling mud and the like flaking off of her fur.
Yuck!
Fortunately, however, it wasn’t long before the pair had actually found the waterhole that Iustitia had so desired, the goddess practically flocking to the water to splash in it, submerging herself up to her neck to piddle around, swimming aimlessly. Swim swim swim!
Pygo was a little less anxious to swim like her goddess companion was, instead settled on puttering about in the shallower water, drinking some of the slightly-murky water. Hringer likewise spent some time preening and washing his feathers.
Dormin, however, was almost water-shy of the place, just watching the trio from afar, eventually approaching the waterhole to take a drink himself. Beyond the drink, however, he didn’t seem anxious to jump into the water to pitter around like Iustitia was..
Though now she was splashing the klipspringer, Pygo squawking and practically fleeing from the water, before slowly petering back to the side of the waterhole and again splashing about in it. After an innocent moment of ‘just drinking’ the water, Pygo splashed Iustitia back, causing the lioness to giggle and return the splashing, flinging her wings open to send some water droplets spraying everywhere.
She even hit Hringer, who ruffled his feathers in protest and shrieked. “Hey hey hey! Keep it down!”
Dormin simply seemed surprised by the ‘joyfest’ between the three companions. He’d never actually been in such a large group before, so he found some degree of fascination in watching the trio… until he got splashed from all the jumping and paw-flinging that was going on.
Both Pygo and Iustitia froze when Dormin suddenly let out a growl, standing elbow-deep in the water to stare like she was into headlights.. which she almost was with the eerie glow coming from the angry-seeming god’s eyes, ears drooping. Hringer was the first to ruin the moment, however, by flying over to perch on Dormin’s horn again.
….. ………. It was so hard to feel completely threatened by an angry god with a bird on it’s horn chirping away.. but she wasn’t about to giggle and possibly tick him off more…
“a-Aren’t you going to clean up as well?” she asked finally, trying to look as innocent as possible. W-Was it going to work? Hopefully? MAYBE? It seemed to look as though that Dormin was going to give her the beatdown for her little play-at-silliness there.
UmmmMmmmmm………..
Dormin finally sighed and stepped into the water, submerging himself completely so that only his horns (which Hringer was still perched on) were above the water, causing Iustitia to stare in confusion for a moment. W-What was….?
It was only when the god again suddenly surfaced, sending an almost-tidal wave of water at the three of them, that Pygo scampered away again, laughing like a maniac, before stopping in the grass to start grazing. Nnnnngh.. food actually sounded somewhat pleasant to her as well. She’d have to consider this as the next thing she asked Dormin to stop for.
But for now…
Dormin gave Iustitia a very serious look.
“Art thou ready to keep moving now?” he inquired, causing the lioness to sigh and nod. Okay, okay. No more playtime.
“Thank you for allowing the pit-stop.” The goddess answered quietly, peeling herself out of the almost-swimming pool of water and shaking the water out of her fur. THERE. She was… kind-of-dry now. Or at least enough for them to keep walking.
“We hast lost time with this excursion. If thou art in a hurry, then makest sure that thou handle all other chores in more timely manners.”
Hringer squawked a bit, which gained Pygo’s attention as the god-herd got moving again. Alright, alright. They could actually start GOING somewhere again.
Though now, it was going to be a long period of walking.
We are walking, ever walking….
Though hopefully for the short-attention-spanned goddess would be entertained enough on her own, without Dormin’s desire to speak and hold conversation for a long long long time.
Being bored; ready, go!

RP #3: In which Pygo runs away and Iustitia gets angry It felt like she’d been walking forever again. Certainly, Pygo wasn’t going to be the only one to have a little bit of a ‘complaint’ about the trip, as even Hringer was starting to get annoyed at what seemed like a good deal of ‘aimless’ walking. However, Iustitia was enjoying it.
To what extent was she enjoying it though?
Well, she’d finally managed to get Dormin to strike up a decent conversation amongst all of their walking. About what? Domains. It hadn’t actually been the most interesting of all discussions, but talk was talk and it was keeping the law girl from being distracted and petering her attention away on everything else that could have POSSIBLY been interesting to her.
Which in the last period of time had been food, bathing, random birds, harassing Hringer and Pygo, trees, flowers, the rain, Dormin’s eyes, her mom and dad, antlers, babies, and fluffy things… amongst several other things she’d babbled about.
Pygo had felt herself going CRAZY. Which actually had been part of the starting point of that day’s adventure, starting with the klipspringer RUNNING AWAY FOREVERZ. Which had actually been started by the fact that Iustitia had cracked a comment about an endless quest and that they would be walking forever.
Pygo, to be honest, hadn’t been exactly KEEN on the idea of walking FOREVERZ, so immediately after this thought, she’d suddenly made a run for it, shrieking at the top of her lungs. This, unfortunately for Dormin, brought the attention of both Hringer and Iustitia out of sheer surprise. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
“Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?”
Iustitia looked practically ready to cry, giving Hringer a pleading look, causing the avian to immediately take flight from it’s perch on Dormin’s head to fly off AFTER the very unhappy klipspringer.
Iustitia was right on his hee-…tailfeathers? However, the only one who was NOT quick to suddenly go out on a run was Dormin, who had actually frozen to frown at the trio.
What in HELL had just started happening right then??? In fact, it was only once the other pair following after Pygo was out of sight that the epic-god realized he probably should have been following after them, sighing and, as opposed to trying to move some semblance of quickly with the stone armor weighing him down, stretching out his massive wings.
Within one beat of them, he was airborne, easily off the ground and sailing, at a surprising speed, after his companions. Really.
He had thought he’d made it clear that any and all little ‘romps’ taking place that weren’t her ultimate destination, Iustitia was supposed to handle quickly. Frankly, it didn’t make sense to Dormin as to why it mattered if she kept Pygo in her company or not.
Unfortunately, however, it was better for all parties involved when Dormin practically sailed down out of the sky beyond the locale of the running klipspringer, causing Pygo to bleat and practically overturn herself, Hringer landing on the flailing herbivore and ruffling his wings.
“What’s wrong with you!?” Hringer practically shrieked, shifting on Pygo’s belly so he could better leer her down.
The last on the scene was Iustitia, who practically panted when the running all stopped, pancaking herself on the ground with her legs stretched out in front of her. Aaaaiiieeeeeee!
Pygo continued to flail about, before rolling back onto her feet, throwing Hringer off in the process.
“How long are we going to keep doing all of this walking!??” the klipspringer shrieked, throwing her head back in rage. This caused Iustitia to frown immensely.
w-What did she mean by that?
“I was hoping we’d be walking as long as we had to t-“
“To find your stupid ‘destination’ you’ve been seeking out your entire damned life, right??” Pygo spat back, causing Iustitia to actually pause, taken aback by the klipspringer’s sudden shriek and Hringer.. to move over to perch on Dormin, as though waiting for all hell to break loose.
Which it only half-did, Iustitia roaring and actually thwacking, with claws, the young herbivore and throwing her own horned-head back.
“STUPID? STUPID?????”
It was a bout out rage that Iustitia didn’t often show publicly, growling before turning her head to look to Hringer. The avian seemed to flinch underneath the glare of the goddess.. even more than he would have when Dormin seemed to be attempting some sort of ‘threatening state of being.
“Hringer. We’re leaving. Now.” She stated angrily, stepping past Dormin, before pausing and looking back to the larger god. “You as well.”
Dormin had no problem with this, but Pygo didn’t seem as anxious to get up and move, just watching the two gods and Hringer as they started to move. In fact, Pygo ultimately did not rise to follow them.
Fortunately for the klipspringer, however, if she had decided to follow them again, Iustitia, not too far away from where she left her companion, moving up onto a rocky perch to lay down and lounge.
Dormin took up a spot underneath the place where the angry younger goddess was perched.
“Wilt thou be continuing on further today?” he inquired, glancing up above him at the dark paw dangling down.
The goddess sighed in answer to him.
“We will wait until morning. If she hasn’t come back before then, we will leave without her.” She said flatly.
Dormin found himself sighing.
Waiting, joy. Dormin wasn’t excited about it, but unfortunately, Iustitia didn’t seem to happy about the whole thing either. All they could do was wait and see how the next day would unfold.

RP #4: In which Dormin is interrogated by Hringer and Pygo Ultimately, Pygo HAD returned after Iustitia’s rage had subsided, watching the god pair from a distance for some time, before moving on to slowly approach.
Dormin had watched the goddess when the klipspringer had called her to one side, the pair having some sort of long and drawn-out conversation. However, it meant that once things had been settled, the quartet was again on the move. But the discussion seemed to have died down amongst the four of them, Iustitia slowly following along after Dormin, who had no problem leading the way, Hringer still posted happily on his horn.
Pygo, on the other hand, was tailing the group, even beyond the tuft of fur that finished off Iustitia’s tail, half-staring at the scenery and half at the spot she was SURE was bruising on her flank. She’d never realized that Iustitia, in her wimpy and good nature, actually did have the ability to be angry… and she, Pygo, had enraged the law.
It was actually rather surprising.
But the silence was starting to make the goddess antsy as she looked around between her three companions, her ears drooping a little bit. HmmMmmmmm….
Pygo sighed.
“So, are we getting anywhere near where we’re going?” she asked quietly, looking to Dormin. If she could cause for there to be actual ‘talking’ happening, then there was also room for Iustitia to stop being BORED TO TEARS… and really, it was a legitimate inquiry, causing Hringer to chirp and preen. “a-Are we?” she finally asked, ears perking up a little bit. Hmmmmmm…
Dormin, however, actually frowned at the question.
Impatience.
Impatience.
Impatience.
They all had it to some extent. Why were they all so… anxious? He honestly couldn’t see any good reason behind being so excited to get to the end of everything. But it was the least he could do to answer the trio of expectant faces.
“Thou art quite expectant to have what thou desires thrust into thine paws” he answered firmly, causing the goddess to pause and look at her paws. They… didn’t seem TOO bad? None of that silly ‘grabby grabby’ stuff, right? Right?
RIGHT?
Either way, it wasn’t exactly what Iustitia was expecting when it came to an answer from Dormin, pacing a little bit quicker to take up the large god’s side. It was actually quite astounding how quickly he could move.
Pygo personally wished he’d slow down.
“What does that mean is going to happen when we get to where it is we’re going?” she asked anxiously, sighing deeply and doing her best to make as ‘cute’ of a face as she could at the older god. It was strange, now that she thought about it, following along after him despite them being near strangers in the beginning.
Did she even know anything about his intentions now?
“Once we hath gotten to where we art headed, thou shalt know what thine wishes to.” he answered sternly in that same cryptic way he tended to speak about everything. It was both annoying in terms of behaviour, but also in terms of the fact that…
now that she’d thought about it, he could have just pointed them in the right direction. Even Pygo had long given up on questioning how Dormin knew what it was the smaller god was looking for.
That didn’t make it any less nervewrecking, however.
Hringer sighed as he decided to switch perches, flying off of Dormin’s horn in order to take up a spot at the top of Iustitia’s instead, seeming content with this new location.
“So ultimately, we have no idea where it is you’re taking us?” he asked cautiously, feeling the tensing of the goddess’s posture underneath him when he made the inquiry. Had it been an inappropriate question? He had to hope he hadn’t just warranted an attack from the creepier god.
Dorming seemed unphased by this.
“Yes and no. Thou shalt see.” he answered.
It wasn’t exactly the answer any of them had wanted either, Iustitia sighing, her ears drooping with the gesture. ALAS., POOR HER. It was actually quite pathetic to see her bending to such a strong pull of potential result in her wanderings.
However, both of the familiars knew better than to question the goddess, who finally stopped being interested in the conversation as well. It was pointless, at that point, to expect too much from this other god. If this took too much longer, she would probably just scream bloody murder like Pygo had and move on to try and find her original destination on her own again.
“Can you at least tell us how long this is going to be?” Hringer asked again. It was another legitimate question, if she thought so herself.
Dormin looked back over his shoulder.
“Another week. At most.” the god answered with a slight rumble.
Well that was a..somewhat good answer, Iustitia decided. The three of they could wait a week, right? They’d just have to find out where it turned them out. Soon.
Soon she would see if she had wasted her time.

RP #5: In which Dormin tells Iustitia to calm the hell down
For as far as the eye could see, Iustitia could see nothing. Absolutely nothing. Except grass and a few herdbeasts.. okay, and the hulking form of Dormin as he sat out in the savannah looking entirely intimidating. Was he an intimidating individual?
He was quite capable of being such, actually. However, this time it was being counterproductive for him to do so, as it was the reason WHY she saw nothing… sans the sparse glimpses of Hringer and Pygo, who had taken the opportunity of the large god scaring off predators to graze and find their own meals.
Frankly, she should have been doing the same, staring off into the distance at the possible meals that were hiding from them. Did she feel like getting up and going to bite one of their throats out? She could have, now that she thought about it, slowly rising up to her paws and stretching out her wings.
However, they were at the place that Dormin had said she would ‘find what she was looking for’ and frankly, it had just made her more and more lost. Only once they had gotten to that place, had he actually explained that in that place, she would find something that would help her herd her decisions. It was sort of a pain in the a**, but she could distract herself with hunting.
It wasn’t a hard thing to do, to be honest; all she’d actually HAD to do was cloak herself and then fly over to their little group to pick off the little antelope of her choice, careful to not drag the meal back over to where the others were.
It wasn’t that she was territorial, it was that she didn’t want to give Pygo a heart attack (and Pygo was well aware of this fact. It was one of their unofficial rules that the klipspringer not be around when the goddess ate). She did, however, summon Dormin over to join her. Hopefully, his large frame would daunt any particularly stupid hyenas who were out in the area that day.
It would have been exciting, at the very least.
Dormin wasn’t the quickest mover, but at least he made someone pleasant company in dining, polite enough to ask her for the parts he would eat from inside the beast before helping himself to whatever looked particularly appetizing. It made HER life easier, at the very least.
“Thou art thinking.” he asked as he settled in with a kidney from the poor little creature while Iustitia enjoyed the tasty bits of the liver (or part of it. She had been kind enough to leave part of it for Dormin), digging her claws into her portion of the meal while tearing into it.
Om nom nom.
“I’m simply wondering as to what it is I’ll discover here where there is nobody.” She answered politely (or as politely as she could, given her frustration). It was, if she could say so, at least a reasonable thought to be having. She’d traveled for what felt like a month with a mostly-stranger to find something that apparently wasn’t to be found.
A quick glance to Pygo and Hringer, to make sure they were okay, and then she was back to pondering over this little thought of hers. Unfortunately, Dormin had been completely right to tell her he couldn’t just hand her what it was she wanted.
But why did it all have to be so difficult for her?
Dormin didn’t seem to doubt that she’d figure it out in the very least. That much was at least reassuring to her. But then again, she still wasn’t sure of his own motivations in WALKING all the way out there to help her in her searching….. and it didn’t feel appropriate to ask at this point.
“Thou shalt find something out here. Only then wilt thou know what thy really need.” he answered calmly before beginning to chew on the piece of raw flesh that he had taken up as the cleanser for his palette before he took on any other organ beyond that lovely lovely kidney. It really had been quite fantastic, if he did say so himself.
Iustitia sighed at this answer.
“I just want to know what it is now.” She pouted, taking another angry bite of the liver. It was HARD not knowing these sorts of things, dammit! But it wasn’t like her being frustrated was helping her get anywhere closer to what was happening.
Dormin sighed.
“Get thy mind off of it for now.” he offered helpfully, though seeming as though he was quite bored in general. Iustitia hesitated for a moment at this suggestion, before sighing, taking a few more bites of the liver, to finish it off, before sitting up to lick the blood out of her fur.
Only once she was clean did she sigh.
“I’ll just…go distract myself with watching Pygo and Hringer, then..” she grumbled, turning around and sulking off, leaving Dormin to watch her from afar.
She really did have great potential to find what it was she was seeking, he would just have to watch over her until she stopped being impatient;
He’d never said she’d find it ‘soon’.
