Bastion Revington currently debated the concept of child harnesses as he watched Orion and Carina, who'd been told to stay at his side, race off into the depths of a toy store eager to play with the dozens of isles filled with things they were permitted to touch. One one hand it would be embarrassing for him and for them to be seen in public in such a manner. On the other they were already almost out of his sight and Bastion didn't feel comfortable with the idea of losing the pair of them in such a big place, never mind the other laces they could wander off to if they weren't going to listen.
It took little time for Orion to immerse himself in an isle lined with stuffed animals. The large, soft and mostly squishy things were fun to pick up and hug, especially the ones on the bottom row, the ones nearly as big as him. Mostly though the young herald was just happy to be able to touch things. Here was stuff that was toys, that wasn't super expensive and they he could play with and not worry about breaking. The tiny dark wings on his back twitched and flapped betraying his excitement.
Carina giggled as she watched her brother. "I like those ones better." While Orion seemed to like the bigger stuffed animals Carina gestured further up at the smaller bears and cats and dragons wearing t-shirts and dressed and suits. Animals in clothes, even toy ones amused her.
