Linnie had been traveling the soquili lands, going from place to place.Meeting new people, trying to find her old friends.Being hurt the past couple months wasn't the best time of her life. But she'd have to deal. With not seeing Niko in ages,it had killed her.He was her foal hood bestfriend after all.Smiling at the thought of him she stood beside the waterfall. Her birth place.Licking the ice that was now covering the waters, she looked to the water fall, which was too ice.It was deffnaly cold outside these days, being alone in this cold place wasn't the best.
The though of Niko wouldn't get off her mind,She knew she had a mate, but it had been killing her that she couldn't see her childhood friend."Niko..."She whispered his name. The smiley stallion caught her friendship from day one.Blinking at the sight of some bunnies playing around nearby her, they reminded her of when her and niko first met. Of course she had been chasing butterflies.Herself was hiding in a bush trying to get the butterfly, which she had thought went into the bush. Then realizing after a while of looking, niko had came along and laughed at her for thinking the butterfly was in the bush. They became friends right then and there.
A smile grew upon her face of those memories.Great sweet memories.Niko was the only good part about her childhood, other than her family. But he was her only childhood buddy.

Cantering across the lands, Niko tossed his large head- shaking his forelock out of his eyes. His mane had never been long, that went for his forelock at well, but at times it was long enough to hit his eyes. Niko was returning to his father and brother for the first time in months; he'd gone off by himself for bit, thought truth-be-told, he'd never been very far to begin with.
Looking about, Niko slowed down immensely. He recognized the area. His thoughts quickly turned to two foals playing, and goofing around, before fast forwarding a bit to a young stallion and a young mare. Linnie... He gave a small smile at the thought of the mare. She was his nearest and dearest friend; probably always would be. Linnie had always been gorgeous, in his opinion. I wonder...does she still look the same? He had missed her, it'd been a long while since he last saw his friend- was she mated? Did she have foals? Thoughts filled his head swiftly, and quickly. He then decided, as soon as he checked in with his father and Aki, he'd set out to find her. Little did he know that she was closer than he thought.
Spotting a butterfly, he grinned, as he always did. Butterflies always brought back fond memories of their first meeting. Filled with hope; hope of seeing his family, and hope of finding his best friend; Nikolai took off once more.

((We have figured out AFTER i posted that Niko was the one chasing the butterflies.Since we have already posted and that,we are just telling this,So if we breed them. The colorist will know. (: ))
Shaking her head at the thought of him chasing those butterflies made her laugh.Walking towards the clearing she heard hooves on the ground, they were slow, and gental.Sending out a whinnie she awaited the soquili's whinnie. Her mind raced to see who this soquili was.Who was it?Names flew through her head as she tried to picture him or her.Seeing the butterfly over the clearing and a stallion going after it,she blinked. She reconized him...But...from where?

Absorbed in his own little world, Niko didn't notice the mare in the distance. He was too busy dancing with the butterfly; when it slowed down, he slowed down...when it sped up, he did as well. Tailing it as well as he could, he happily followed it without a care in the world. It'd been a while since he'd let himself act like a foal, and if he cared to admit it to himself- he was thoroughly enjoying it. There was a flash of blue off to the side; a pond, or something, he assumed. He gave a neigh, unaware that his friend was close by and had whinnied at him; trying to figure out who he was. He was in the clearing, and hoped it would make catching the butterfly easier. Niko gave another neigh of delight.

Linnie watched the stallion.Watching how he was acting, then thinking back to when she and niko were foals.Thinking thinking thinking. Then it hit her."Niko!"She whinnied at him and rearing to get his attetion.Raceing towards the stallion she noticed the butterfly was like the same one they met, that same day."Nikolai!!!"She wondered if he would notice her,but she sure didn't notice the stallion, that was her bestfriend.

Taking note of the pond that was ahead, Nikolai was ready to spring whichever way the butterfly decided to go. Alas, his plan didn't happen. Hearing his name, he turned his head, while still cantering forward. Squinting his eyes, he realized who it was. Giving a gleeful shout, he screeched to stop with the intention of turning around and running back to her. Shrieking with surprise, Niko realized that he had (in reminiscence of their first meeting) ended up in the pond after having halted entirely too quickly. Heaving a sigh, the sopping wet stallion stalked out of the water with a playful glare on his face.
"Why is it that I seem to always ended up wet when I see you?" he walked towards the mare; towards his pretty Lennie, with a grin.

Linnie smiled and laughed as she seen her Niko fall into the pond.Walking to him,she nuzzled him quietly."Because you see me and we've missed eachother?"Nipping playfully she looked at the butterfly."I seen you chasing that butterfly, then i seen your markings. Then i noticed it was...You.."Missing him terribly she put her head under his."How are you,old friend?Has life been good for you?"

Giving a slight nuzzle to Linnie, as she tucked herself under his head, he gave a content sigh. "True. I have missed you. And, it's typical me- usually observant, until a butterfly gets involved." He laughed lightly. "It's so great to see you, Linnie! It's been far too long, you know."
Smiling down at her, he pondered his answer. "Life...have been life. It's had it's ups and downs, I suppose; for the most part, it's been swell. As for how I am...much better! Not that I've been bad, or anything. I'm just...I'm better now that you're hear with me." He gave a slight snort at how corny he sounded. "I was just thinking about you, you know... how've you been? Anything new since I last saw you?" A stupid question, for sure. After all, it had been well over six months since he last saw her; of course there'd be new things that had happened in her life!

Linnie giggled."I missed you too,i have noticed that.Everytime we come across one another theres a butterfly. Its a pleasure to see you once more Niko.."Nuzzling him she smiled more."Exactly how life goes,we'll have to deal."Looking at him as she came back from being under his head.Sighing in happiness, she watched him more."I was thinking about you too.I've been good,i met some new soquili,I don't really think anything big has happened,Well my parents had 3 more daughters."

"Three more?! How many girls are there now?! Though, I can't say much. My parents are trying again, too." He rolled his eyes affectionately as he thought of his parents. He was hoping for some younger sisters, but wouldn't mind brothers, either. Glancing down at his companion, he frowns in thought, how was it possible for her to not have a mate, yet? He gives a slight smile, and nods. "Butterflies just love of us, of course! He looked out over the meadow with a fond grin. "Met some new soquili, eh? Do share..."
