Aliases/ Nicknames: The Leopard man, Animal, beast, monster, (yes, all of these are derogatory names for Telemachus)
Physical Description: Telemachus Fringe
Telemachus stands in at six foot eleven inches, two hundred pounds, of pure, hard muscle and sinew. His hands are human shaped, but have pads on the palms and digits, and inch and a half retractable claws. His tail is long and bushy, and like the rest of his body, covered in long, shaggy, spotted fur. His hind legs are more feline, having three joints and large, thick padded paws, that have two inch long retractable claws.
Zanpacto: Amadaes. Compared to Telemachus' size, his average-sized katana is more of a short sword. The blade is straight, single edged and about three foot long. It's handle is customized with a stylized grip and has no guard.
Zanpakuto Spirit: Amadaes' spirit is that of a small, elderly man dressed in many flowing white robes. For his size, Amadaes is an ornery, angsty little b*****d who always tries to push Telemachus into confrontation.
Zanpakuto Element: melee/fire/heat
Shikai:
Release phrase: Bring the Blade to the Pyre and Let it Burn, Amadaes Excaliber
Appearance: (seen in the physical description picture.) Amadaes becomes a large scimitar with a mostly black blade, with the razor sharp edge white hot. The rest of the sword has a perpetual light smoke emanating from the blade.
Take the Breath of the Earth and Clog the Throats of Thine Enemies: Telemachus thrusts the tip of Amadaes into the ground about halfway. Large fissures open randomly in a thirty meter perimeter, smoke, white flames and undearable heat waves erupt from the crevices. The fires only rise five and a half feet from the ground, while the smoke blinds those within ten feet of the ground and the waves of heat turn clothes to ash. The smoke and harmful flames persist and spread until Amadaes is removed from the ground by Telemachus.
Cleanse the Flesh of the Faithless with the Flames of Mine Soul: White and blue flames consume Amadaes' blade, making the surrounding seven meters incredibly hot. To save himself from burning, Telemachus swings his sword in a sweeping horizontal arc, which creates a wave of fire and superheated that burns everything for twenty meters in every direction, with Telemachus safe inside the arc of flames.
Bankai
Bankai Release Phrase: The Flames of Mine Soul take Vengeance on the Fallen, Bankai!
Bankai Appearance: Telemachus becomes engulfed in blue and white flames. When the blazing inferno subsides, Telemachus appears to be a creature comprised of bluish-white flame. His eyes glow brightly with intense rage and passion. Sparks and small flames erupt from his feet as he walks or runs. The heat rolling off him is dangerous to be within two and a half meters meters of him.
Burn with the Radiance of the Fires of Hell: The flames that make up Telemachus' fur in this form explode into a blast relative to a miniature supernova. This ability is his last resort, as using it stops his Bankai and knocks him unconscious.
Unnamed Abilities: In his Bankai state Telemachus can create orb projectiles of fire and columns of flame that erupt from his palms.
Special Accessories: Instead of the standard uniform of a Shinigami, Telemachus usually wears a large, dark robe over his scant clothing.
Skills:
Inherent Skills due to his lineage: Enhanced senses (specifically sight, hearing and smell), high reaction times, Retractable claws(Hands and feet), advanced leaping skill(15-20 teet, max)
Learned Skills: High level vocabulary from reading every document in his Father's lab. Relative knowledge of advanced scientific procedures
Abilities:
Personality: Telemachus, though shy and timid around most other Shinigami, still possesses strong animal instincts. Most of his fellow Shinigami see him as a brute and, though he harbors no ill will to them, a dumb animal. In spite of this social handicap, Telemachus is highly helpful to his peers and strives to gain their respect. When not helping other Shinigami, he usually lounges around the Sereitei, particularly in trees or the roofs of the Squad buildings.
When fighting, Telemachus gives in to his nature, becoming a purely instinctual creature. This is the reason others see him as an animalistic brute.
Biography/History: Telemachus was created, not born.
In a secret laboratory, deep under the compound of the Rukongai, a misguided and possible demented scientist was performing horrific and gruesome experiments to create a new species of Shinigami. The subjects of his macabre and bizarre experiments were the kidnapped souls of human being, men, women and children, and living animals from the World of the Living. The goal of this man was to fuse the souls of the humans with the bodies of the animals to create hybrid creatures for further experimentation and study.
After years of failure and frustration, the Scientist successfully fused the soul of a newborn boy with a leopard cub, straight from the womb. Almost instantly the cub's body began to change, taking on more human-like features while still possessing much of the bone structure of a Leopard. The new being developed hands instead of forepaws, but still had hind paws, a tongue capable of forming words in a fanged mouth. His eyes took on a more human glint, no longer the eyes of an animal, a born hunter, but instead those of a sentient being. Instead of seeing the creature as merely a subject to be used, the man who created him saw Telemachus as a son and decided to hide him, and his abilities as a Shinigami, from the rest of the Sereitei.
On Telemachus' fourteenth year celebration of his day of creation, his Father, the man who created him brought a woman to the lab. Having never seen another person, the Leopard child hid from the both of them. As his father coaxed him out of his place of hiding, he explained who the woman was and introduced here as his close friend and his new teacher of his skills. Gradually, the leopard-boy came to trust the woman who taught him to utilize his skills and abilities, as well as how to fight with his Zanpakuto and without it. They were happy and, together, formed an odd and strange family in the underground facility.
Ten years had passed when the peaceful life ended. Telemachus' father and the woman he came to call mother began to dispute his experience and the possibility of bringing him to the surface, so that he could attend the Shinigami academy and become a true Soul Reaper. His father, who was overprotective of his son and wished to keep him safe until he was ready to face the outside world, became increasingly hostile and aggressive towards his mother, who believed him ready to face the Gotei Thirteen and claim his right to be a Soul Reaper. The verbal fighting escalated until the scientist struck the woman and killed her. Stricken with grief, the man locked Telemachus inside the laboratory and placed thirteen barriers in the passage to the lab. With his son finally safe from immediate discovery, the Shinigami took his lover's body to the Captains to confess his crime, but not before he left a sealed letter with a younger Soul Reaper within the Twelth Division under strict orders to give the message to the Captain-Commander after his death was marked for ten years. He was then tried and executed, leaving his secret to be discovered when the time came.
