What kind of interesting topics?

sqwarriorempress started something called a "running rp" where apparently people can just jump in at any time. Maybe that would interest you?

Yeah in the roleplay forum there's a running RP (it's just like what Swift said) and you can just jump in and do anything really. The hard part is actually getting people to post there......
