How It Is Written: Averin Frost [First name pronounced like "AYV-ren" or "AY-vu-ren"]
It's So For Now: 17
Where Are You Looking: Male
It's No One's Business: In fact, if you ask, he will say it's no one's business. Averin doesn't like to socialize, due to once being verbally bullied in the military academy in the past simply for being such a laze-about. He's never had friends. He nearly failed his classes miserably because of the 'distracting, pompous fools' who crowded him 'like little begging rats'. But he passed any tests or exams with flying colors, and was one of the best at Zaiphon combat. He passed the academy by a hair's breadth after repeating an extra year's course, but decided he didn't want any part in the military in the first place. There was a certain figure he adored at one point in his life, though...but in any part, he assumes every person he meets an idiot, and is often blunt in his opinions. He's quite stoic, in some ways, but has a flaring temper every now and then. His words can be caustic, since he learned the thinking process of all the other 'fools', and knows which strings to pluck. He enjoys seeing others wander about in chaotic and nonsensical troubles, but at the same time is disgusted by such naivete. He's an only child with just his father who lives, who is a high ranking officer Averin's never really communicated with 'equally'. His mother mysteriously disappeared when he was ten years old.
Why I'm Going To The City: He's going about his un-merry way with his father's earnings after graduating the academy. He looks simply to remain a bachelor the rest of his life and maybe knock some heads along the way.

How It Is Written: Karol Gold
It's So For Now: 15
Where Are You Looking: Male
It's No One's Business: Born in the outskirts of the city, Karol grew up in a poor family. And by poor... well... let's just say he was VERY poor. Like the kind of rats you see begging on the streets, Karol's family was just about at that level. One of the first things Karol learned as a child, was to beg. It was later that he learned the reasoning behind his lowly actions though.
"Karol! You gotta seize every chance to earn money! You know why, kiddo?"
"Why, big brother?" he replied to an older boy who lived in the same lowly neighborhood.
"Because the more money you gots, the closer you are to getting rich! And rich people? Why... they can eat steak whenever they want!" He huffed.
"R-r-really, big bro?" Karol cried in awe.
"Yes 'lil Karol... now get to beggin'!"
He then booted little Karol back to the streets, where the little boy promptly pulled his cloak tighter around him, and went back to begging, more enthusiastic now than ever.
Over the years, he learned different methods in which to earn money. Small jobs, providing assistance in exchange of a few coins, and even the art of robbery. He still had a conscience though! And thus he did not rob... too much. With the many odd jobs he was told to do, Karol learned many things that normal people wouldn't even dream of learning in their lifetime. For example, he learned to skin frogs, eat uncooked meat (not in large quantities of course), being a lure for wild beasts, and even knock off the wheels of a cart while the driver was still driving!
Unfortunately, he never really learned anything that could land him a proper job- one that actually gave a salary every month. He also never learned how to read or write (unless you call his scrawl writing), and the only thing he really knew how to do, was math. How else would he keep track of money?
Why I'm Going To The City: Like a lantern, the big cities attracted poor people like flies. To be more precise, the big cities attracted boys like Karol. Everyone in the little region of his knew about the city. How rich people lazied about all the time- people richer than the landlords of the area, and how money can be picked right out of the pockets of the clueless city folk, and even be found lying around in nooks and crannies. To Karol, it was like a paradise... and an adventure. Life was harder there apparently, or so people say, as there was a wider variety of people, and a lot more thieves to steal off one's scavenged coins. However, adventures were fun, and to Karol, it was almost like a challenge. When the chance finally came (and when his family finally stopped clinging to him), he hopped on a truck, and started his journey to the city.

It's No One's Business: Has a family that isn't poor but isn't rich and has lived with everyone always being kind and helpful so she isn't very good on being on her own. Her mother had just died in and her father has a serious illness that will end his life soon. So her siblings sent her to search for distant relatives to find a new home of the rest of their family. She is some-what smart but is very shy and timid so she keeps quiet most of the time. Very obedient and helpful.

It's No One's Business: My Family were mapmakers. Exploring unknown regions was our way of life. The day I was to inherit my father's tools and his starter mapmaking kit, a group of notorious bandits killed them all, leaving only me. The only thing intact was my father's compass. The bandits then forced me to become one of them.
When I was 11, I was able to kill the bandit leader successfully and earned my right to leave. Now, I travel not as a mapmaker, nor as a bandit, but a simple traveler. Though, I can't call my self that yet.
