The Ouran High School Host Club episode based on Wonderland.
It was rather cute if very inaccurate.

hmm Haven't heard of that show.
Syfy did a rather interesting adaption involving a different Alice being whisked away to Wonderland where the Queen of Hearts had industrialized Wonderland after our world... The characters were a bit underdeveloped and the storyline was a little weak but it was amusing.

So far the best book I've seen has been The Looking Glass War Trilogy by Frank Beddor. Genius. If you haven't read them you should definitely check them out. It takes wonderland and makes it very real and very believable - its quite epic.

Myth:
Alice Liddel is an ordinary girl who stepped through the looking glass and entered a fairy tale world invented by Lewis Carroll in his famous story book.

The Truth:
Wonderland is real. Alyss Heart is the heir to the throne, until her murderous aunt Redd steals the crown and kills Alyss's parents. To escape Redd, Alyss and her bodyguard, Hatter Madigan, must flee to our world through the Pool of Tears. But in the pool Alyss and Hatter are separated. Lost and alone in Victorian London, Alyss is befriended by an aspiring author, to whom she tells the violent, heartbreaking story of her young life. Yet he gets the story all wrong. Hatter Madigan knows the truth only too well, and he is searching every corner of our world to find the lost princess and return her to Wonderland so she may battle Redd for her rightful place as the Queen of Hearts.

Best books I've ever read. If you love this guild and the way things are here, you will LOVE these books!

Wonderland themed? Hmm, I guess American McGee's Alice, but that's a video game.

I've also watched SyFy's Alice, which was quite fun.

And yes this'll be my first post in the guild. ^_^

Oh thank you, I'm quite fond of it myself. XD

Yes I do love McGee's Alice, it's a fun and creepy game, wonderfully designed and has some amazing music.

The trilogy sounds VERY interesting, I think I'll look for it next time I go to a book store. I know of a interesting show called Pandora Hearts. Alice is the main girl, and almost all the characters from Alice and Wonderland are these creatures from this place called "the abyss" it's very interesting, worth the a manga read and watching the anime.

Speaking of American McGee's Alice, Did you know they're turning that into a film? It was due to be released this year but they've moved it back so that it doesn't have to contend with Burton's film, I think it just goes by 'Alice' I'll dig up the link for the page on IMDB soon.
There you are. Not much on it yet but anything based on that game Is bound to be good (hopefully)

Also there's quite a catchy song by a band Called Hypnogaja: Through the looking glass
And another song by Jefferson Airplane: White rabbit

I've heard of both Pandora Hearts and The looking Glass War books, I'll have to dig them up sometime.

Yup I know about the movie, they're also making a second game, which will probably be released next year.

Ehh.
There's a song.
Alice from Stevie Nicks.

And then the music video for Gwen Stefani's What You Waiting For
is Alice in Wonderland based...

I know a couple other songs based on that, but forget the name.
I listed to a lot of music....

I LOVE the Looking Glass War.
As well as American McGee's Alice.

Need to see SyFy's Alice still, but I'll get around to it eventually.

I absolutely adore Looking Glass Wars - just got the third one for Christmas. SyFy's Alice was very enjoyable to me, quite a good modern twist, better than Burton's looks, I'd say. *grumbles "Making Hatter the main Character in his....Pfft!* I love American' McGee's Alice, as well. And I'm OBSESSED with Pandora Hearts currently!! On episode 16 of the anime and chapter 34 of the manga. Another good manga is "Are You Alice?" Kind of a weird, unexpected twist, but executed quite nicely, lol ^_^ And Ouran High School Host Club's an absolutely adorable show in general, but it was the "Haruhi In Wonderland" episode that got me into it at all. XD Also, a great graphic novel that's not a manga, "Alice In Sunderland" by Bryan Tabolt. (Not quite sure if that's exactly how the last name's spelled.) AMAZING GN with history of EVERYTHING tied to Alice Lidell and Lew Carroll. O.O LIke, seriously, A huge history lesson, but all Alice-relevant. Haha

Unfortunately not, I don't think so. I've never seen any as much as I've looked. The anime series just came out recently in Japan, so I don't think there's going to be for a little while

Alice in Sunderland Is a great one haha, I live in Newcastle which is the city in England that's right next to Sunderland ( Infact our two football(soccer) teams have quite a feirce reputation of not getting along well XD

I will actualy buy my own copy of that someday, the one at the college library was missing alot of pages D:
