Riley was going to get a kick out of this. Ugh. Crescentia sighed and fell back onto a bench in the middle of a snow-covered park, draping her arms across the back of it and watching the little Panda girl frolic and play in the snow not far from her. It wasn't that she didn't want the girl, or that she disliked her because really she thought she was adorable, it was just...she came from the same place as Emmet. And Stella. The girl, who she had named Madison, was currently picking up snow in her little black hands and staring at it with wide green eyes. This was amazing! And so fun! She clapped her hands together, making the snow fly everywhere and laughing with pure delight. Madison glanced back at her new mommy, who smiled and waved a hand at the Panda girl.
"Having fun?" She called out, clearly having no intention of getting up. It'd been a long day for her, she was tired.
"Yup!" Madison replied happily. This lady was nice, she'd be alright she supposed. She was clearly older than Madison, and stronger, and she would be taking care of her and putting a roof over her head...it seemed being tolerant of her would be a fair exchange. But if Crescentia wasn't going to get up what was Madison going to do now?! The snow was fun and all but...it was quickly beginning to bore her. She pouted a bit, looking around for some sign of anyone else in the park. There had to be someone she could play with!

Arjuna ran into the park, screaming something that sounded like a cross between a shriek and a roar. He zigged and zagged a few times before plowing face first into a fairly high snowdrift, which covered him from toe to tail.
He was followed by a red streak that skidded on ice near the gate before crashing into the slide. Myung-Ki shook his head dizzily and looked around for his target, hissing when he couldn't find it.
Pulling up the rear of the parade was Anoki, who also had some traction difficulty near the gate, but held onto the bars and pulled himself along. He scanned the park, easily spotting Myung-Ki. And a lady and a little bear. For an instant Anoki thought his search was over, but another look showed that this bear was clearly somebody else. Sighing, he considered asking for help, but instead went over to Myung-Ki, trying to calm the dragon down. If he was still angry and there were strangers around, that would be really, really bad.
Which left Arjuna to peek his head out of the snowdrift and watch, wiggling. Maybe Anoki would think he left and go somewhere else. It had happened before! In the meantime, he focused on the people he didn't recognize. Especially the girl. Something seemed off about her.

Madison was on the verge of giving up and just flopping around in the snow some more when a loud crash from nearby made her gasp and jump, whirling around to see a...whoa! What was that?! It looked so cool! And so did the person who walked over to it! She gasped, her arms outstretched at her sides as if keeping her balance. She wanted to play with them!
She started to run toward the pair of strangers by her side when something moved in her peripheral, throwing her off and distracting her enough to stop in her tracks. Unfortunately for Madison she had been running enough to keep her momentum going and slip on the snow, her feet still trying to send her forward as she fell backward with a loud 'OOF!' Whoa! ...The sky was pretty! But that could be admired later, for now she had to see what had been the cause behind her fall. Sitting up, Madison shook show out of her hair and looked around until she spotted the shock of bright orange against the white snow. Whoa! Pretty hair! "Whoooooa!" Madison grinned, rolling over to push herself onto her feet and run over to the snowdrift with the strangely colored haired fuzzy thing coming out of it.
"Hi! 'M Madison! Let's play~!" She was excited to share her new name with the world! And she had someone to play with now too! With cool hair!

"Shhhhh," Arjuna said quickly, shaking his head. "I'm hiding." He pointed to Anoki, who was still consoling Myung-Ki. For a moment Arjuna's expression grew angry as he eyed the dragon. But when he saw the girl again he relaxed. And frowned. And slowly crept around to the other side of the snowbank, waving for her to follow. They could play where nobody could see them, right?

Hiding? "Whyyyy~?" Madison asked, following the other kid's gaze to the pair by the slide. Was he with them? Why did he look so angry? How weird! She watched curiously as the kid crawled out from around the snowbank. Oh! It was a boy! Goodie! Madison nodded and smiled when he waved at her, falling to her hands and knees to crawl with the boy. Oooh! Were they being sneaky now? Fun! She liked hiding! Though she didn't understand why she was hiding.
...Hey, wait a second! His eyes! They were weird! And his hands! Wasn't he like her?
"Where's your black stuff?"
