The sky was clear, showing know sign of the clouds that had soaked the world only the day before. Near the edge of a forest, Kuron sat in a muddy puddle, he has the mud smeared all over his face, and is making mud pies, his guardian was nowhere in sight, because the young boy had snuck out during his father's nap, just so he could play in the mud before everything dried up.

Puddles of mud. That is what Shirina wanted to find. A large one to splash and fling little mud balls about but she had to make sure Serenity does not spot her in the puddles. Quietly the snake anikal slipped away from her guardian and off the the forest's edge. Wandering along as she looked for puddles she spotted a boy but more importantly he was in a mud puddle. With a huge smile she ran as quickly as her little legs would take her and jumped so she could make a splash. "Mud!" She yelled happily as she wiggled her toes in it.

Kuron laughed as the girl's splash caused him to becover in another layer of mud. "Yay!" He cries happily as it rains down on him. He didn't open his eyes until the mud finished falling around him, then he opened them to look at his new companion. "Hi! It's mud!" He exclaimed happily, before tossing one of the mud pies he made at her, and laying in the mud. "I like mud! My name's Kuron!!"

Shirina looked over at the boy and laughed as she covered her face so the mud he tossed would not get into her eyes. "Yay Mud!" She said and sat now with a plop into the mud. She really did not care if her dress got dirty. It was her goal to have fun in the mud not keep clean. "I Shirina. Mud is cool feeling. It nice." She liked the temperature of the mud against her skin as she pulled some mud in front of her and started to mound it up in a mountain like shape.

Kuron nods, sitting back up, his back now completely covered in the mud. "What yew makin'?" he asked looking curiously at mud mountain-thing, as began to gather his own pile of mud, forming it into a ball to make a mud man out of. "I'm gonna make mudman as big as me!" He told her happily as he continued on to a second ball for the midsection of the mudman.

Shirina pulled more mud to her mud pile and smiled "Mud Mountain! I am gonna make it REALLY big!" She stretched out her arms to show how big she would like it then went back to pulling mud to it but her 'mountain' never really got any bigger. "Mudman? As big as you? Need help?" She wanted to see this mudman the size of him so she watched him make the midsection of the mudman.

"A big mud mountain? That sounds alot more intaresting (pronounced in-tah-rest-ing) den dis mud man, bu suwe yw can helps, he needs a head." Kuron replied, rolling the ball in a a pit of dirt before adding more mud and sticking it on top of the lower section, "Diwt evewy now and den 'elps keep it fwom goin' apawt." He told her with an informative nod, "But it doesn't 'elp keep da mud on yew when yewr daddy wants it off."

Shirina tilted her head a bit. "But I never saw a mudman before." She got on her hands and knees and crawled over to him. "Whould mudman need hairs?" Grabbing some firmer mud she made sure the mudman was able to be as big as him and patted some areas she thought he missed. "I don't have a daddy. I have a Seareny. She takes care of me but she don't like the mud on me. I snuck away when she no look." She felt proud that she was able to get away from her guardian. Serenity never really let her do anything really fun like play in the mud. This was her chance to have fun and now maybe make a friend?

"I guess it couwd have haiw... but it don' weally needs it." He awnsered as he gathered a hamdful of mud to form into a ball to begin the head. "Your Seareny, sounds like my daddy, he don't like mud on me eider, but I like mud on me so he gets angry sometimes. Ya know?" He asked as he rolled the mushy ball of mud in the dry, firmer dirt, then coateded it again in mud over and over 'til it was the size of his own head, then he stucket on the mud man whe was a wee bit shorter then him with it. "Hmm.. two short... I was shure it'd be righ dis time!"

"'Kay. No hairs then." Shirina nodded and touched up on some parts of the mudman before he put the head on it. "Yep! Seareny don't wike scrubbing mud off my scales. She get's vwery mad at me when I covered in it. I know what you think." She nodded and tilted her head seeing that the mudman was too short. "Needs more mud. Can you take head off? I add mud to make him taller?" She wanted to see him the same height as Kuron and was willing to see it work somehow even if she had to do it herself.

He nodded at her suggestion and romoved the head, setting it down so he could help make the body the bit bigger that they needed to make it the right height, "Not to small, not to tall, we has to make it juuuust right!" He told her, as he scooped up another handful of mud.

Shirina nodded and took a handful of mud and placed it where the head will go. Maybe it will give it enough boost to match his height. "Just wight." She repeated and started her patching up again. She thought her one handful will be enough to make the head match. "What yew gonna do when mudman is done?" She asked as she smoothed out a spot on the body.

The boy paused to think about that before replying, "I'ma cova myself in mud so that me an' him are twins! And den Im gonna make a mugloo." He nodded decidely before going and putting the head back on the body, it was just right, maybe a teeny tiny bit off but close enough to make the boy grin with satisfaction at first the mudman and then his new friend, before plopping in the mud to cover himself in it.

Shirina giggled a bit and tried to help him cover himself. "Would mudgloo stay up?" She asked as she took handfuls of mud and plopped it on him. First a mudman now a mudgloo. Some things she had never seen before but the mudgloo sound like fun if she can help out a bit. "Want help still?" She said with a smile.

"Oh yes, it'll stay up." he said with a very serious face, as he raised a hand to show that he was done, and didn't need her to put more mud on him. "Needs muds,"he jumped in the mud causing it to splash slightly, "Checks, dirt," waves is hand at the dirt, "Checks, and sticks." He points at sticks that scatter the ground in the nearby forest, "Checks! Now Firstistis, we godda gatha sticks." He led th way to the forest area, and began to pick up all the sticks he could carry and take the back to the mud pit, where he set them dow near their mud man and went back for more. He continued to gather sticks, until the pile was about half the size of him. Then he went and grabbed a huge fallen branch, that was one and a half his height long, and began to tug it toward the pile of smaller sticks, moving rather slowly despite pulling as hard as he could.
