It had been the first time that Marii had never been to the grocery store and he was cautionly looking around the place as he memorized the layout of the store and all he good places that might make good ambush places as he walked around with his mother. He also wanted to walk around on all fours to get a better look around but his mother had made him hold onto the cart as they walked so that had ment he had to walk on his legs and he wasn't too happy about that as he flicked his head lure around.
"Now no grumping, Mar. I don't want you to create a comtion as you check the place out on all fours. I'm trying to get you to act somewhat normal." Val said to him. 'Well what if I don't want to be normal, I like pouncing people its fun," he replied to his mother. "Well I will tell you this that not everyone like to be pounced, Mar." he told him sternly. He didn't reply but swished his tail back and forth as he tryed to some up with a plan that he could then leave his mother's side and do what he wanted to do. So he kept his eyes out for the opertunity to were he could and to make sure looked to see others reactions of him just walking around.
But all of a sudden another woman come up to his mother and they start to talk about boring things Marii thought. But as he watched that his mother wasn't paying all that much attention to him and he slipped to all fours and quietly walked away but keeping his ears out to make sure she didn't call him back and when she didn't he was happy and quietly looked for a good place to pounce people and when one was found he scrunced down and held real still were people wouldn't pay him mind if they saw him.

Adhara walked through the grocery store with not too many problems, her tentacles extremely active given the fact that she had slept the night previous, giving them more rest than they usually needed over the past week and making them more energetic, as they'd been when she was younger. Currently, they were busy doing ridiculously childish things like hefting honeydew melons in front of Adhi's already well-developed chest. Laughing despite the immaturity, she gently pushed them away, trying to dissuade them from picking at the fruit. That only left other, quite a bit worse things that they could be doing.
One of the main things was that they were continually reaching out to molest nearby women, which got Adhara slapped before she declared that they would have to stop doing that as well. Both tentacles drooped melodramatically and Niita quickly grabbed an orange, bouncing it before throwing it at his sister, who threw it back, soon in a game of catch. Once again, this did not fly with Adhara. She put down her basket and started trying to catch the orange. The tentacles, however, were quick and crafty and managed to keep the orange away from her, making her jump and try for it as hard as she possibly could. It didn't work very well.

He had watched lots of boring people walk by to where he was hideing and a few little kids with there parent shopping pointing to him and giggleing at him and he just smiled at them or stuck his tongue out at them, but no one really did bug him as he was looking for a good target.
But then his attention was drawn to what he thought was another spawn but a much older one than him and he could see that she had tenticals that were sorta like Iah's but what he thought was weard as they acted very differently to what he was use to and so he just watched very intently as he thought it would be fun to bounce her and find out more about her tenticals.
Marii had to stiffle a giggle as he watched her tenticals play keep away and thought that now would be a good time as. His tail gave a little wiggle as he waited for the right time and then bounced the older spawn with a large smile on his face and his tongue hanging out of his mouth.

Adhara pouted at her tentacles, trying to get the orange back for a couple minutes before huffing gently and giving up, slouching her shoulders. She leaned over to pick up her basket once again, standing only to suddenly find herself tackled. Squealing like a little girl, the woman was barely able to find handholds, and mostly with the help of the tentacles that she had previously been scorning. The frightened spawn was panting slightly before she turned, a slight smile coming to her face at the sight of... um... she couldn't exactly tell what he was.
Regardless, he was young and forgivable, and she righted herself with a smile, Reena holding the basket that she'd saved while Niita went to play with all the spiffy little things that were attached to the new person with interest. "Now, now," Adhara chided with a soft laugh. "You'll get yourself in trouble if you go around doing things like that to people. Well, certain people. So what's your name, fishy-boy?" she asked as she pet his strangely-shaped head.

Marii just had to giggle as it was true that his pounceing had gotten him into trouble sometimes but it was till fun none the less and would still do it despite as it was fun to him. "But its still fun none the less and a great way of meeting people too," he replied with a smile and giggles as Niita played with his lure and wiggled it slightly. "I'm Marii," he murred at the petting. "Whats yours?" he asked. "Also are your tenticals always nice?" he asked as the only other tenticals he knew were mean.

Niita was excited by this new toy that she had found and continue to play with the little lure, bonking it and making it bounce around, happy to have found something of interest in this drab, drab place. Adhara laughed happily at the boy's simple logic and continued to pet him with a smile on her dual-coloured face. "Well, I guess you're right. Just make sure that none of them are angry biker thugs or anything, alright?" she suggested with a soft chuckle, smiling at the boy.
"Marii. Nice name - it fits you well," she complimented while Reena continued staying on the offense, not really liking how this boy had almost spilled their foods everywhere. "I'm Adhara By'arre, and my tentacles are Reena and Niita," she said, gesturing to each of them in turn and nodding a few times. "And they're usually pretty nice, though they can get overprotective sometimes. Why do you ask?"

Marii had to giggle at the Niita playing with his lure just let it play with it as it also felt intersting to be played with in that way. "Naw they aren't any fun any ways," he answered as he once tryed it with someone like that and he ended up with was being yelled at for doing it until he scared the person off by makeing his eyes glow and snarling.
"Its nice to meet you too and thanks," he said as he gave a big grin. "Well my friend Iah has some and they are much meaner than your are. But then I don't mind it when they give me smacks," he said as it never hurt no mater how hard those tentacles hit it when he gave his friend snugs.

Adhara laughed happily at the thought that this silly boy had actually decided to pounce on a scary biker thug at one point in his life. Niita continued to play with the boy's lure as long as he continued to cling, the woman sticking her tongue out at the silly child happily. "You certainly are a strange boy, I'll give you that. But then again, aren't we all?" she said, giving him a snug before he started talking about Iah.
The woman's amber eyes lit up a bit before dimming, her wings drooping just a fraction of an inch as she smiled as best as she could at the Patience boy, nodding. "I'll bet you don't. After all, a friend's happiness is worth any amount of pain, wouldn't you say so?" she asked, smiling softly at the boy, though her mind was now preoccupied with other boys, all grown up and far away, who would never bat an eyelash in her direction...
...not that she wanted them to.

Marii smiled as he knew he was odd even with his other siblings as his view of this were a little odd, but then they were as he aquaried a wolf pack mentality from a huge run in with his mother's village wolf pack as he had done things wrong and was taught a lessons on how to act around others that were more powerful than him. "Yep, but then I like it that way. As it makes things much more intersting," he said as he liked the snug as it was very different to his experences. He liked Adhara's tenticles as they niffty as he smiled and pounced his lure around for Niita.
"That is very true, but then I really don't know pain is as I haven't felt it before," he said as it was true he had gotten some nasty bites from his brothers wings and thought nothing of it as Marii did have a very high pain tolorance. "But then I do like to make them happy in anyway that I can," he added. As it was true as he was thinking of asking Iah to be part of his pack once he saw him again. "So what type of things do you like?" he asked as he wanted to know as her being older than him.

Adhara chuckled along with Marii, her tentacles having very much fun with his strange appendages and very eccentric appearance. Never before had they met someone that was so interesting. Adhara's wings fluttered softly, and she realized that she would need to continue with her shopping sometime soon, lest she miss an important job interview that she was supposed to have once she finished. But she could stand to randomly snuggle with this boy for a little bit longer, that would be fine. "Oh, yes. Being different makes things much more interesting, that's for sure."
The one part of this interaction that was starting to bother her, however, was the part where she couldn't get Adriel off of her mind since Iah had become part of the conversation. The perkiness that she'd had only a few moments before had vanished slightly, leaving her a little disenchanted toward talking about friends, talking about being friends with them regardless of the harm it caused the self. No wonder she hadn't spoken to Adriel in so long... "You must have a high pain tolerence then, huh?" she asked with a slight smile, nodding a few times.
"What do I like?" she asked in surprise, wiggling out of their snuggly embrace, but gesturing for the boy to follow her. After all, she did need to get shopping done. "Well... I like lots of things. Cherries. Clothes shopping. But I don't usually have a lot of time to do things related to the stuff I like to do - considering I have two babies and a girlfriend to take care of," she replied with a smile, Niita and Reena still playing with Marii even as Adhara started looking through vegetables and other fruits. "What about you?"

"You are very right about that one and its fun to have other have to think for a bit before they can react," he replied as he was haveing fun with those tentacles since they were so very intersting and fun.
"That I do. If I didn't then I could never run with the wolf pack back at my mothers village," he said as a matter of fact as wolfs were very physical creatures and one could never show weakness or get a beating. As only the strong grew in rank that is something that Marii wanted to do.
Marii nodded as he followed her as she did the rest of her shopping. "Those are very cool," he answered and he thought for a second to what he liked. "Well I do love to eat anything that I can, run around and sharpen my skills at pounceing people," Marii replied.
