 The sage lands of the fish, located on a small island surround by massive amounts of water, in the middle of the island holds a temple, home to the two advisers and the elder fish. The temple holds two lairs, the bottom layer being underwater, and the top for the owner of the fish scroll.

Hei appeared out uopn the water, loking across it to and island. As he headed for it he countinued his pace, his personality would have permitted him to run straight at it, but he had heard stories of the few people who had managed to learn the technique and new it would take all the chakra he had. As the reached the small sliver of land he headed through the trees, and down into a low valley. In the center of it stood a temple, surrounded statues of the 3-tailed Demon. As he reached the doors Hei smiled reading the message ingraved in them. "Let he who has mastered the art of Suiton enter." Hei pushed upon the large doors, watching as they slowly creaked open, hearing this noise he figured that the place would be old and decrepid. But to his amazment he found it to be fully furnished,it housed a large living area, with a bed in the center, to the right stood a door that read "bathroom" and to the left one that read "kitchen", he continued on, following the fish patterns on the floor. He headed to an unmarked door at the back of the temple. he opened it and decended the stairs, "WHO ARE YOU?" he heard a booming voice call the second he reached the bottom of the stairs and a pool of water. "Now don't go scaring the boy any more than what is needed" he heard a gentler voice call. "Maybe a little fear will help him learn" a manly- but lower voice replied. "COME TO ME CHILD!" the deep voice called once again. He dove into the water only to wish he hadn't.

Hei's eyes opened wide in true horror as he looked forward and spyed a massive shark, rows of glimering teeth, its size was comparable to any of the 9 demons of the shinobi land. He chose to remain as close to the stairs as possible, fearing the beast hunger. "COME HERE BOY!" the massize Shark called revealing the inside of its mouth to be a black hole. Hei slowly swam forward. "Hello elder, I am Hei Raiken, the one who claim...obtained the summoning scroll." He paused and waited, praying that this would not be his end. "I KNOW THIS ALREADY CHILD!" The shark growled, causing some of the rubble to fall from the ceiling. "Now hush up elder," Hei searched the room for the voice, seeing two sharks on the sides of the the massive fish. "I do appologize for him, i take it your here to learn sage mode?" The one to his right said, she seemed to be more of a gentle type. "FINE IM LEAVING!" The massive fish turned aorund and swam through an opening, which probably lead to the ocean. "yes ma'am, will you be teaching me?" he said feeling better now that the elder was no longer around. With a loud cackle she replied, "You may call me Ma, and no it is not a one person thing, you will be tought by Pa over there, and myself." Ma motioned to the shark that had begun to circle Hei. "Yes and if you don't mind it is not a simple task so lets get started. The three accended the stairs and passed through the temple and tree's, making there way to the beach. [2/20]

As they reached the beach Hei removed his gourd and three blades in the sand, then walking over to Ma and Pa, "So lets do this," He said "Im ready to get this training started." "Im afraid its not that easy, first you must understand why we are doing this." Pa said walking over to the water and placing a hand on the surface. "You must learn to harness the energy of Natural chakra, it is the chakra around you within the animal world." As he spoke these words the massive fish elder rose from the water, on its nose a fountain, which it brought to the shore. "Now your normally used to using only to chakras, spirtual and physical, but this water will help you draw in the natural kind," Pa placed a hand in the water and removed a large stafff, "If you take in to little, you will not be able to use Senjutsu, but if you take in to much, you will be turned to a fish forever." Hearing these words Hei nodded and walked over to the water. "So how do I learn to control natural chakra?" He asked. "Well that part is easy, i splash you with the water, and you will remain perfectly still in attempting to draw in the chakra, if you take in to mush, i'll crack you on the head and release it." Hei nodded and removed his ANBU gear, sitting infront of the pool. "I am ready to begin the training Sir"

Hei remain seated infron of the fountain. He Felt the cool run of the water splash against his back, He focused as thew water hit him, feeling the flow of chakra around him. Within seconds he felt the staff smash into his back. "OW! what was that for?" He cried rubbing his back, "I could feeel the chakra and everything!" Pa shook his head, "Yes and it is for that very reason that I hit you, you were just taking it not, not attempting to balance it!" At this Ma turned and walked back toward the temple, "well i'll leave you two to this, im going to go get dinner started." Hei sighed and went back to his training, placing his palms together and crossing his legs. Once more Pa splashed water upon Heis back. He focused, attempting to retain the amount he took in. He felt the smack of the staff once again. "WHAT WAS THAT FOR!" he cried out. "You wern't doing anything but sitting there!" PA replied. Hei once again regained the position infront of the fountain. He had no idea where to start. So once again he focused, taking in a little more than before. Seconds later he heard Pa's voice through the calm, "there you go, your doing it!" With excitement hei jumped up and was smacked back down to the ground. "You got excited and took in to mush chakra!" Hei frowned and dropped his head. [4/20]

Before Hei was even splashed with the water he was hit in the head again. "What was that for, i havn't even started!" Pa shook his head and began walking back to the temple, "Come on, were going to eat and take a break, we'll try again in a little bit." Hei followed after collecting his things and tossing them onto the couch within the temple. He then followed Pa over to the kitchen, sitting at the only chair his size, and staring out at all the food Ma had prepared. "Eat up young one," she said smiling at him. About thirty minutes late Hei flopped down on the bed and passed out. Hei awoke to a solid blow to the gut. Jumping up he followed Pa back out to the beach, leaving his things behind in the temple. Once again he postioned himself infront of the pond once again. The elder splached the water upon his back once more. Hei maintained his piece, standing and opening his eyes. His hands and feet slowly began to change into fins, his cheeks morphed, reveiling gills, and his spine gained a large fin. He then fell to the ground. "What happened, i thought i had it?" Pa smiled at him, "You did, but you lack the chakra to remain in that mode for more than a few seconds." "Then what am i learning this for!" he yelled kicking the sand. "Do not worry, after you master contorling the chakra without the water, i will teach you how." Pa said as he placed the staff back into the water, and kicked the fountain toward the temple. Hei walked with Pa, as they reached the temple Pa pointed to the top of the temple, where two points sat. "We will climb to the top and there you will learn to remain still" he said walking over and picking uo two stone squares. Hei followed him to the tip of it. "Now sit upon this and focus on remaining still." Hei did as he was instructed, but the second he sat upon the square he fell all they way to the ground, watching as the square was destroid. "Grab a new square and carry it back up here." pa said to him, still sitting on his tile. "No problem Sir," but as Hei picked up the tile he found it to way more than what Pa should have been able to carry. "How in the hell did you carry this thing?" He said barely able to dragg it up the building. Pa laughed a little, "Senjutsu chakra boy, it has great effects." Hei made it to the top of the temple and placed his tile upon it, managing to balance upon it. "now find your center, you already know what it feels like to collect the chakra, just do the same, only this time you will actually have to draw upon it." Hei focused listening to the sounds around him. Hearing the millions of fish out at sea, and the tree's and plants on the island around him, along with the waters around the island. Hei sighed as he felt the natural energy begin to flow around him. [6/20]

Hei placed his palms together and froze, drawing in the natural chakra around him the same way he had earlier. He opened his eyes once more only to feel the energy leaving his body, he lowly fell to the ground, crashing into a tree. "OW! that kind of...didn't hurt!" he said jumping to his feet as the Senjutsu chakra left his body. "That was great work boy, im surprised you managed to pick up the technique so fast." Pa said jumping down from the tip of the temple adn landing next to Hei. "Now we may move on with the training." Pa kicked the ountain out to sea, watching as the fish elder caught it on its nose and dragged it back down into te depths. Hei followed Pa back out to the coast and out onto the water. "Now i will teach you a trick to sage mode, if you focus on collecting chakra within your hands, you will only have to keep them still." Hei sat on the water and focused once mroe finding it very easy to do as Pa had advised. "I now wish to teach you how to move with your hands in that form, and i must warn you, it will be extremely difficult to do so." Pa placed his hand on the water once more. Hei knew not what to expect, but he knew whatever it was would not be a good thing. He sat there calmly, not noticing the massize jaws opening behind him. It was only when he felt the water move that he turned around.

Hei's face turned a pale white as the elders massive mouth was held open behind him. "Our sage more gives us the fastest swimming abilities, meaning the water will soon become your home." Pa said point up to the elder. "He will try to eat you, you will run from him, above, and below water, keeping your hands the way they are. GO!" Hei jumped to his feet, keeping his hands together as he streaked across the water. With a quiet scream he watched as a fin raised above the water and swam straight at him. He quickly turned in another direction and continued running. He looked in every direction, seeing no sign of a fish the size of the hokage mountains. He had to think of something, quickly scanning over all the jutsu he knew in his head Hei jumped into the air and clicked his feet together, landing on the waters surface and waited, allowing the barrier to form and sink into the water. With fear in his heart Hei jumped as high into the air as he could, watching as the elder followed him from below the waters surface. He watched in horror as the jaws filled with rows of needle sharp teeth snapped closed inches below his feet. As they both fell to the water Hei heard Pa call to him. "Focus on channeling the chakra boy!" he did as he was told, fear heavy in his heart. [8/20]

Focusing on maintaining the natural chakra, Hei found he had forgotten to keep the chakra at his feet, causing him to sink below the waters surface. He watched the elder swimming at him from above, finding it terrifying that he was able to block all daylight from Hei's view. Hei closed his eyes at this point. He focused extremely on collecting the chakra, choosing not to watch the elder swallow him. Focusing in this way allowed for him to activate the sage mode. Hei quickly kicked his feet, dodging the elder in a situation where any normal shinobi would not be able to. He smiled as the elder continued to chase him, "GET BACK HERE BOY! I HUNGER!" it called as he continued to swim finding he did not require the use of his arms to move at any fast speeds. "Never!" he called bcak, he then realized he no longer needed to hold his breath to breathe, the gills on his cheek had begun to do it for him. Hei dove deep into the water, then turning his attention straight up. sending him flying out of the water. He landed on the surface as the elder did to. "I think that is enough, the boy seems to have it" Pa said walking back toward the shore. The elder sunk into the water, mummbling as he went. Hei followed Pa, finding his speed only increased out at sea. "Well thats a bummer" he wispered to himself returning to his normal state.

As they reached the temple Hei walked in to see Ma sitting on the couch, Hei's things having been moved to the bed. "Well ma its time we taught him the summoning." Pa sat down next to her, pointing for Hei to sit on the floor. He did so and looked at them. "What is it?" Pa placed a hand on Hei's shoulder. "Because you lack a massive chakra pool, it will be nessesary for you to summon us into battle, we will fuse with you for the only way for you to remain in Sage mode is to have a great chakra amount. Ma and I will allow you t use our natural chakra in battle for as long as he can, but once it is depleted, you will be in a weakened state." Pa pointed Hei to the door. "What i want for you to do is draw three lines on each of your cheeks where your gills were, and focus natural chakra into your body, use the natural chakra you obtain to summon us." and without another word Ma and Pa vanished. Hei, attempting to remember everything they said walked from the temple and sat at the bottom of the stairs. He bit down on his thumb and drew the lines as he was told. He then crossed his legs and closed his eyes. Placing both of his palms together, and focused, drawing in chakra from every living thing around him. He collected all the chakra he would need for the two summons, and preformed it. Watching as Ma and Pa appeared on his shoulders. They all then walked back into the temple to continue the training.

"Lunch time!" Ma called headed for the kitchen as she jumped from Hei's shoulder. He followed with Pa as they all took there seats and ate. Mintues later Hei flopped down on the bed, kicking his things to the floor. And took a nap. Hours later he was awoken by Pa tapping him on the shoulder. "Its time to finish your training boy" Hei gathered himself and followed the elder out to the beach, were he and Ma jumped onto Hei's shoulders. The sky was pitch black, giving no light to the surrounding area, with a shudder Hei wispered to the two, "How can you see out here." there was an awkward silence. In unison the two answered, "we cannot." he continued to walk out onto the water and paused when Pa cleared his throut. "Call upon the natural chakra and enter sage mode." He did as he had been instructed. Entering sage mode a few minutes later he waited. "Dive as low as you can, for in sage mode water pressure does not become a problem." Hei jumped into the air and swam straight at the bottom of the Sea, his eyes widened as he gained the ability to see, it was as though the water increased his sight. He continued swimming toward the bottom, having no idea when to stop. As he reached an impossible depth Pa tapped him on the shoulder. Pointing for him to accend. Hei did so happily. "This is so cool!" he cried out into the empty blue.
"I KNOW IT IS! WHY ARE YOU HERE!" In horror Hei turned around to see the elder swimming up to him. "I think we should race him" Ma said smiling and waving. "Or run so he doesn't try to eat me again!" Hei turned and began to swim, finding that the speed he had used earlier seemed to be doing little to nothing in getting away from his pursuer. "IM AFRAID YOUR GOING TO BE AN EARLY MORNING SNACK FOR ME!" Hei swam on kicking and swinging his arms more and more franticly with every passing second. "Hei stop this, we are fish, we do not swim like humans." Hei turned his body upward, headed for the surface, as he reached it he shot from the water, noticing a golden light forming on the horizen. "Wave your torso like ripples in water son" Ma said smiling at him. Hei closed his eyes as he splashed back into the water. "YOUR MINE!" Elder fishy called as his jaws closed in around Hei. With one movement Hei slid through the narrow gap between the massive teeth. Hei swam around the elder, watching as the ancient creature was unable to even keep up with his relative postion in the water. "Good job Hei, now lets move on." Pa said as the elder surfaced, anger in his eyes. [13/20]

Hei reached the surface and watched as Ma jumped from is back. "I will now teach you the strength side to your sage mode, elder if you dont mind." She said turning to him and placing a hand on his side. "OH I HATE THIS PART!" She then lifted him high into the air. His jaw dropped as she tossed him a good 50 yards. "How in the hell did you do that?" Ma then walked up and punched Hei in the face sending him the same distance in the opposite direction. "The same way you didnt feel that." She said as Hei climbed to his feet, placing a hand on his jaw and realizing it hadn't hurt. "The trick is to focus the chakra throughout your body and just pick it up like any other jutsu." PA jumped down from his shoulder. "First try it with your normal chakra." Ma said as the fish swam over to Hei, its eyes above water. Hei focused his chakra attempted to pick the fish up with no success. "Now try in sage mode son" She said as she and Pa jumped onto his shoulders. He tried once more, lifting the massive creature above his head and tossing it the same distance she had. "It you keep learning like this, then were going to have nothing else to teach you kiddo" Pa said as he motioned for Ma to continue on to the next step of the training. Hei waited patiently to see what was next. "This is really easy, and fun, thank you both" He said calmly. "WHAT ABOUT ME! YOU TOSSED ME ACROSS WATER! DONT MAKE ME EAT YOU!!" [14/20]

"I am sorry! i ment to disrespect elder!" Hei said shaking his head, wanting to not be eatin. Pa spoke up as Ma wrapped medical tape around her hands, "You will now learn our style of taijutsu, Ma will teach you the land style, and the elder will be teacing you the underwater style, they are both the same style, just different areas of effect." Ma launched at Hei throwing a wild punch. "Majority of our strikes are wide and strong, like a shark bite, our foot work is fluid but weak, we are easily knocke off balance, but to compensate for this we area able to jump to our feet quickly and our bodies bend a little to attacks." Hei practiced with the elder for a good while, takeing and throwing strikes. Moving his body the way he was supposed to. After a few hours the elder nodded to Ma, Hei had learned the style well and was now ready for the under water portion. Hei dove under water once Ma had jumped back on his shoulder. "OUR STYLE IS THE SAME UNDERWATER, BUT OUR MOVEMENT IS FASTER AND OUR ATTACKS COME FROM DIFFERENT ANGLES. WE AIM FOR THE LIMBS AND ATTEMPT TO REMOVE THEM" Hei copied the moves as the elder preformed them. After going head to head with the fish, he turned and swam off. Hei smiled. "This is the coolest thing ever!" Hei sprang from the water and landed on its surface. "Now is the Ninjutsu portion of your training." Pa said calmly.
Hei watched as Pa jumped down and flashed handsigns, "I will teach you our sage ninjutsu techniques" Hei watched. With a smile Hei copied all the hand signs, He then created five shadow clones that all swent off in different directions. "You will be able to learn these techniques quicker than usual due to the fact that natural chakra is involved, they also outrank other ninjutsu of the same level that do not have Natural chakra within them." Hei nodded as the first clone fired a jet of water sharply, cutting many tree's in half, it was small, but strong, it then vanished. "You must know that our techniques are weak against Doton based techniques," he continued as the second clone grew scales. Hei nodded taking in the information. "Our armor skills can block taijutsu and for every strike it will refill your normal chakra, but not your Senjutsu." The third clone turned have the scales it had on its body into armor. And watched as everything but earth techniques bounced off of it. Hei watched as Pa climbed back onto his shoulder, the forth clone, which had made its way back to dry land released water from its mouth and sent into the temple bason, drowning the temple, it quickly released the jutsu and vanished. "Now it is time to combine your normal techniques and your sage chakra," Ma said as the last of the clones created a vortex that dragged anything caught in it down. The clone dove in and vanished. "So i understand you are a member of the raiken clan, the weather eye im guessing," Pa said placing his hand on Hei's head. "How did you know?" he asked, sure he had not used his eye since he entered the island. "Well son, when you sleep in snows." Ma said laughing. Hei smield, just now finding out about this. "Your bloodline will mean you can react to jutsu alot faster than others, combined with our underwater speed, means you will have more of an opertunity to defeat opponents." Hei stood, And dove into the water, he swam around looking for the elder. Finding the gargantuan creature Hei flashed handsigns and send a small electric shock throughout the water, zapping the fish on his shoulders and the elder. He quickly jumped out of the water before it noticed. "your lightning jutsu will greatly increase the potency of our water jutsu." Pa said smiling as they surfaced. Hei ran back to the temple and returned with all of his things, choosing the two short swords he had owned since his Genin years. He entered sage mode with the blades and found that they synced into his back, giving him a razor fin. He then put the blades in his index fingers, turnin his webbed hands into webbed claws. "The reason you can do this is because your weapons can pass chakra through them, including natural chakra. But in doing so you will shrink the time you stay in sage mode." Ma explained. [18/20]
