Hated Food: Anything made with, sat next too, or sold in the same shop as grease, sugar, fat or baked beans.
History: Elijah was in a foster home from the age of 5 to 16, the age in which he could official take himself off from the godforsaken place. His father unknown to him, his mother not being able to look after him and his (unknown number of) brothers/sisters, Elijah as the youngest was one of the first to put into a foster home. Over the years he met people who looked that little bit similar to himself but never said anything. He felt no love for them so why start now? As any child who had been 'abandon' by the people who were meant to love him the most, he grew resented towards adults, and during his stay at the foster home he would often get into fights, bully the other children, and try and make their world a living hell like his.
The only person that could get through to him was a factory produced counsellor who would tend to put down the rule book to break through the obviously tortured Elijah. He taught him to control his anger by talking, allowing him (by his own expensive) to go to karate lessons to learn self discipline and letting him act out his passion for gardening by separating a small area of the unused garden of the home just for him.
Unfortunately due to the real rule books, the counsellor was seen as taking a step too far in the care of this child and was quickly removed from his position as Elijah confidant.
Elijah, to say the least, did not take this very well.
Hobbies:
Gardening: A passion in which Elijah had taken upon himself to learn, when he didn't want to see the faces of his 'captors' he would take himself outside to the garden with broken swings, unused empty sand pits and overgrown weeds. and when he had chosen his spot he would clean it up, and plant the seeds he had found through out the garden and hope something would grow.
His 'love' for this hobby improved when he was bestowed with gardening tools from his counsellor and since that time, it has grown from strength to strength. Now a lot older and able to control his moods that little better he performs the act of this as a remembrance of his past. If you where to step into his garden, there wouldn't be just trees and flowers, there would be a story.
Reading/Learning: If Elijah hadn't the upbringing that he did he may not have turned out as the book worm he became, although you can use that theory for a lot of things. But with gardening, his chosen escapism was to read books, any and all books, just so no one would speak to him. Be it fiction, fact, he'd read them all, raiding the little collection of books the home called a 'library'. He would 'borrow' books from the other children, keeping them if he enjoyed them (who we kidding? he kept them all). While other children begged for the latest computer game, or trendiest clothes, Elijah wished for more books when birthdays or Christmases came along and since he wasn't picky about what he received he ended up with all manor of literature, from 'Einstein book Evolution of physics' to least praised 'Everybody poops'.
Meditating/Working out: Elijah had always had problem with his anger, from what he can remember from before the 'home' if you didn't shout and fight your way to the top, you didn't get attention, you didn't get seen. and once finding his new home with the other children that shone through to such an extent that the 'naughty corner' was renamed in the main occupants honour.
After meeting his counsellor who allowed him to participate in Karate and then onto Muay Thai he became a star pupil under Master Sken's lineage and learnt from him the ability to work out the body, but to keep the mind at peace by meditating. Although his time with Master Sken has ended he still keeps up his daily training and you will often find him in his garden, rain or shine, meditating to find this so called enlightenment he has sought for all his life. Not to be happy but to gain its powers it may have to offer him.
Virtues:
Intelligent: As the human sponge Elijah was able to expand his mind with his antisocial behaviour, opting to sit and read instead of listening to mindless prattle of children a similar age, his IQ became quite large. Along with this feather in his cap his backlog of strange reading material throughout childhood has allowed him to read books upon WW1 strategies, to Warhammer rule books so his array of information is a useful ally in battle conditions, where he is able to analyse a fight to find the best strategies to gain the upper hand. In practice though....
Strong minded/Confident: It comes with having to battle your way to the top, to be noticed and have your say. You had to be the loudest, the strongest, the quickest, or you would get nothing from this world. With his experience in martial arts he was able to put a punch behind the words he said, and make an impact. Although this confidence may stem from his own egotistical views, it doesn't mean its not noticed. He words are unmoving, he means what he means and wont back down without a fight. He gets things done, and makes his point very, very clear (god forbid if your a Call worker and he is pissed off at you). He uses his knowledge as a battering ram that leaves people quivering in his wake. He will make a point at proving you wrong, but if your not on the receiving end this can work very much in your favour. As for the Negaverse? you will running into battle, and he would be right beside you, not out of loyalty, but because he feels he cant lose, and sure his actions may result in taking everyone else down with him, but he would only stop when he can no longer hold up his weapon, quitting is not an option, and neither is losing.
No man left behind/fight to the end: There is no backing down for this human, he would rather be beaten silly than admit he is wrong, to bow to someone he see's as beneath himself. You give him a job to complete he wont stop till its done, even if he has to go a thousand ways to get it finished. These views pass on to his comrades, he wont leave you behind, if you are partners on this job, you both come out at the finish line, even if he is dragging a dead corpse behind him. It could be a reflection on his own abandonment views, although not the friendliest person in the room, if it was too explode he would try his dam hardest to get you all out of there, even if you nicked the last Hobnob biscuit moment s before, your worth more to him alive than dead, even if its to use you in another mission. No one is left behind.
Flaws:
Shallow/Egotistical: Although you may be an intrigue clog in the plan, your just that, a clog, he is the actual machine. Without him this mission would fail, he is keeping this thing going by just being there. So you can imagine the ego this person caries on his shoulders, which no everyone can agree is a great thing. So although he is often put back in his place (secretly your very wrong and he is very right) he will always protest his side of the story, and god help you if you are proven wrong, your his b***h now, even if you happen to be high up in the food chain, comments about this will not go amiss. This can be an awful trait in anyone, especially from the men running the show, to have someone running around with the inability to see their own fatality cant always be for the best. Sometimes it is better to take a step back, unfortunately Elijah only sees that as giving up, and his strategy books didn't tell him all he need to know about how life reacts to one like him.
Ignorant/quick to judge: Because of his egotistical views he tends to look down on people and make snap judgement about them. If you look stupid you are, if you overweight you have no willpower, if your too skinny you have low self esteem, he has an answer and a judge for anything. a bit mental? obviously bullied as a child and can't get over it. (don't look at the irony at this, he doesn't judge himself XD). For knowing so much he fails to take on the most valued of lessons to listen to other people, he is ignorant and sometimes nasty in his comments back to those he sees beneath him. although on the opposite side if you are able to outwit him, although he will never agree to it, his respect for you will grow immensely.
Updating further flaw:
Physical Description:
Hair: Long unkempt hair that reaches his lower back. Dark pink in colour. (he will never admit he dyes it....i don't even know if its a dye job and am his creator @_@)
Eyes: Golden in colour, ?possible contacts, again he doesn't talk to me much D:
Face: Very angular features, the boy needs a good meal down him. Likes to wear eye-liner, sometimes even eye-shadow if the mood takes him.
Body: Just like his face (which surprising is connected with his body) he is very skinny, at least 2 stone lighter than he should be at his 5ft8" height. But don't let his thin a** fool you, he works out a lot (yoga mainly) which has resulted in a set of powerful arms and legs (2 each). If only he was to put on some weight, he might just stop looking like a pre-pubescent girl who's hit the gym.
Fashion: Simply dressed (aka has no fashion sense) in skinny black jeans, maybe the old black and white stripped jumper. Polar necks in the middle of summer, you know, that sort of crazy s**t.
Jewellery: Has a passion for silver jewellery, he will wear bangles, necklaces, rings. I am sure he is trying to tell me something.....
