Hallways × A never-ending maze of bland white corridors that all look the same. Nestled somewhere in the endless twists and turns is a shafty old elevator with flickering lights and shaky doors that will take you to some of the other floors of The Facility. Then again, it may just trap you inside it. Getting lost is easy beneath the flourescent lights and winding halls, and if you aren't careful, you may never find your way out...

Abandoned Laboratories × A picture-perfect stereotype of a scientific research facility. These labs, situated adjacent to one another and labeled "LA-1 through 8", are noteably high-tech and appear to be medically-orientated, to a certain extent. Inside the high cupboards, steel drawers, cold storage units, and adjoining sheds, all sorts of scientific equipment can be found. Across some of the long, metallic countertops, empty beakers, loose wires, microscopes and other research tools can be found. The rooms are stocked with monitors, treadmills, and everything else a scientist or researcher might need to conduct any kind of experiment - no matter how sinister. Cold tables, gurneys equipped with leather straps, medical equipment and observation rooms with glass windows...just what kind of activity could have gone on in such a place? And why does it seem to be catered to something a little larger than rats...?

Holding Cells × If not for the fact that, like many other places, these rooms are devoid of everything but a simple makeshift bed and toilet, you might almost be reminded of your own room back home...that is, if you recall ever having a home. It isn't much, but for now, this room may be one of the only things you can call your own. Come here to sleep, think, or, if you find that yours is not the only occupied cell in the area, visit a "friend" in a room nearby. You notice that the outside of your door has been labeled with a specific color...

Storage Facilities × Packaged drugs, unidentified items, and limited rations of freeze-dried "foods" can be found here. Like any storage room, these ones are chilly and vast, the ceilings stretching high above your head and the dirty, cold floors stretching for what seems like miles around....there are many hiding spots available. Crates upon crates are stacked high, some containing unidentifiable equipment or materials, some empty, many just waiting to be discovered...

Bathrooms × Do you have the mental strength and stability to take an ice-cold shower in one of these dank, dark stalls after everything you have been through? One can only get so clean without the luxuries of soap and shampoo, but for some, it's better than nothing. After using one of the filthy toilets lining the walls in each stall, you might decide that a chilly shower isn't such a bad thing. Just don't stub your toe on the cracked ceramics or step on one of the rogue roaches darting from place to place...

×All other doors and locations on Floor One are locked and unavailable. More locations will become accessible in time×

The figure rose soundlessly, its head throbbed with every shifting movement. Her eyes opened though they saw nothing, and her head moved from left to right and blinking rapidly.
"This isn't right, there's no noise." They said, cocking their head to the side, "No. I hear water dropping.... sounds like.... a sink? But where? There aren't any sinks outside.... Maybe I'm inside.... Sure is chilly."
Sitting up she put her hand to her head and shook it. Her left arm hurt worse then it normally did, and when she went to feel it she found that none of the normal bandages, wrappings, and clothes were there. Claude felt her arm a little closer, and her left arm fell limp, dangling out of position having dislocated as infectious waste oozed out of it. She'd make time to find a place to clean it later.
"Oh well," She said prodding it, "My loss, not good for much as it is."
She stood shakily, and felt for the wall with her right hand and her cheek. Stepping carefully, she found that she was on an elevated and soft surface; a bed most likely. Upon reaching the edge she sat and felt for the ground with her feet and stood.
"Grounds cold, no carpeting; probably not a house or motel then," She said to herself as she wandered while using the wall as a guide, "Maybe we should stay here?"
Claude found the door and feeling around, found it was not only unlocked but opened and letting in a slight and damp draft. She shivered.
"Chilly," She cackled as she blinked a few more times and tucked a hand under her dislocated shoulder, shadows came into her eyes and she found herself not so blind as she stepped into the hall, "Seems like a rather dismal place, I wonder if there's any meat around here?"
All around her Sophie could see the shadows, there were few though, and mainly on the floor; likely cast by the lights above, how she knew she did not.
"How lovely," She said to herself as she picked her way down the hall, following her thoughts and the dancing shadows.
The farther she went the more numerous the spots and shadows became as her vision seemed to improve. Her state of mind, however, did not.
"A rose, a rose. What I would give to crush one with this body and drink from it its sweet nectars. Perhaps a hand would be more suited, and a knife to tie it down with?" Sophie cackled as she beat her left arm against the wall and let her head hang, "Cut this damn dying arm off, never again shall its weaknesses pester this one, and body of thin bone shall no more brittle be. Then perhaps I'd enjoy a cup of tea, if I could see enough to find the kettle and its man; but then I'd see enough to know what I need and cut out that wretched part of me that is this dying arm. Be free I would with, burdened not by that which is not I; but she is I and I am she, mais how longer can this be? Surely not long 'til I crush the last of her beneath my toe!" She turned wildly as she heard the noise she'd made and snarled, "The flowers shall all be mine soon, do I make my self heard? And once they are, yes, once they are then I will crush all bugs that dare to take them from me."

[[Cue: BG Music]]

As the world came into focus and flickered before his eyes, Fallax sat up on his bed, looking around at the bland surroundings. Before the male could move any more, he experienced a flood of fear and anxiety, Where am I? What am I doing here? This isn't my room. This isn't my house. This isn't anywhere I know. Why am I here? How'd I get here? Maybe it's a dream? Yeah... it must be. I'm just dreaming. That's right... I'll just lay back down. When I open my eyes again... I'll be home.

Fallax laid his head back down, sighing a breath of relief as his face felt his pillow. His mind drifted, but not in the direction he had hoped. Why am I not waking up? This is supposed to work right? I'm supposed to wake up any time now.

Fallax continued thinking, slowly picking up on all his senses. He could feel the pillow, the cloth rub gently against his face. He felt the mattress, bland and uncomfortable pressing against all the wrong places. He could smell the air, the air littered with dust it seemed. It was all too real, too vivid. He rolled over, trying to put himself at ease. Still nothing. Instead, he concentrated more, he felt his tongue brush against the roof of his own mouth, run along the indents between teeth, taste the saliva in his mouth. Finally, his curiosity drove him to one final test. He opened his mouth and bit down on his own tongue. Fallax retracted his tongue quickly, sitting up in a flash.

"It is real. This isn't a dream!" Fallax swept his legs over the side of the bed and stood on his feet, looking down only for a moment to check why he suddenly felt so cold. A rush of even more confusion hit him as he looked over the room, snatching up the blanket off the bed and wrapping himself with it.

He found a set of pain white clothing lying on the floor. He swiftly snatched those up as well and put them on without question. After wrapping the blanket around his shoulders, he inched over to the door and peeked out. His eyes darted back and forth, "Maybe... I should just stay here? ... No, I can't just stay here... who ever did this may be back. I don't want to find out who they are. Maybe I can find a way out... let's hope no one starts looking for me after I'm gone. Ugh... wishful thinking..."

[Section A Holding Cells]

Rolling over on her bed, Kyouko was going in and out of consciousness. Occasionally, she would say something in her quarter-awake state, often that made little, if any sense. Finally, after being like that for around an hour, she finally got to about three fourths conscious, and sat up. "It's so quiet...and white..." Then it hit her. "Ah....ah.... AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" She screamed loudly. "Crap, where AM I?! This isn't my futon, this isn't my room, this isn't my home, THIS ISN'T A PLACE I EVEN KNOW!!" She yelled again, puttin her hand on the wall, and moved to get out of the bed. However, since she was used to sleeping on a futon, she wasn't used to being this high above ground and fell. "DAMNIT!" She saw white robe on the floor, and checked herself to see if she had been stripped of her clothes. Thank god she hadn't, and she still had everything down to her necklace. She looked around the room, and saw the door ajar. Sighing with relief at not being trapped, she stood and walked towards it.

She reached into her pocket for her talismans, and pulled out a few blank ones. She reached into her other pocket for her brush and ink...to find they were missing. "...My...my...MY INKSET!!!" She roared again. She kicked the door open, putting a dent in the metal, and as it slammed against the wall, the loud noise echoed through the hallway. It was only as she looked around that she realized...this place looked deserted. "What...am I...the only one here? Oh god....no....no...no no no no no no no no NO!" She ran back into the room, and looked in case she was forgetting something. She found her stuff had indeed been taken, and stormed back out, slamming the door shut behind her, which caused another loud BANG to echo through the halls. She looked at the door, noticing a Blue part. She then looked at the next door, and noticed it had a white part instead of Blue. The doors were categorized somehow. She didn't like this...not at all...but better to endure it with someone, than to go at it alone. "Somone....PLEASE, ANYONE!!! HELP!!" she called out desperately.

[[Fallax : Floor 1 - Section A : Hallways/Holding Cell]]

Fal walked down the hall silently, until his ears picked up a completely unmissable scream from the opposite direction he was walking. He spun around and ran forward in the direction of the growing ruckus, s**t, that was a woman's scream. She could be in trouble! Wait, what am I gunna do? What if they're armed? I could be walking into a deathtrap!

Fal slowed in pace, but took off again at full speed, Damn it, what am I doing? Why am I still heading this way? This way obviously has trouble yet I can't stop myself from charging full force into this? Maybe whoever it is has answers? Maybe directions out? That seems logical enough, right?

Fal turned sharply as the girl finished the last of her screaming. He stood in the doorway, staring for a moment, realizing there was no one else there with her. He couldn't help but notice the horns growing out of her head, and found himself staring.

He blinked once to snap out of it, trying suddenly to find out what he could of her as fast as he could, but, in a civilized manner, "Uuuh... Greetings, my name is Fallax. You can call me Fal. What's your name, and how can I be of assistance?"

Kyouko looked at the man who had just rounded the corner. She eyed him.... 'White clothes...look very modern...' Then he spoke...asking how he could help. She resisted jumping on him and hugging him (as that would probably break his ribs), and spoke "Thank god someone is here. Fal, do you know where we are, or better yet, how to get out? I have to get home..." her voice was still shaking a little. "Oh, and if you know where my ink set has gone, that would be wonderful...it was a present from my mother, and I really REALLY hate being without it..." She had totally missed him staring at her horns. 'Please let him be able to help me....please....' she mentally repeated.

[[Fallax : Floor 1 - Section A : Hallways/Holding Cell]]

Fallax tilted his head to the side slightly, Damn, seems she doesn't know anything either. Crap... well I guess it isn't so bad. At least I'm not alone now.

"I'm sorry, I don't know anything. It seems we're both in the same situation. I don't know where we are, or how I even got here... let alone a way out... and... wait... did you say ink set? No I'm sorry, I haven't found anything like that. Then again, I've only recently woken up and started looking for an exit. Maybe we can look for it on the way. In the meantime, perhaps we can find a way out together?" Fal brushed the hair out of his face so he could get a better look at her, as well as give her a good look at his face as well. He even added a faint smile, trying to appear friendly.

Her mood dropped so much with her crashing hopes that she fell to her knees when he said they were in the same situation. She was about to break into tears when Fal said that they should find a way out together, and they could look for her ink set on the way out. "..." She silently looked up at him, and saw his friendly smile. "Oh....O-okay." She said and brought herself back to her feet. 'Even if we're in the same position...strength in numbers is good, and having someone to talk to will help me keep my morale up. Plus....he seems nice enough.' She walked over to him and said "I'm sorry for not giving you my name when you asked...I'm Kyouko, of the Muryoku family." She gave a deep bow, avoiding getting him with her horns, and came back up. "I-I hope we can work together well." she said with a small smile.

"A needle and thread is your best friend!"

Thelesis always had trouble recalling exactly how she woke up, but today she vividly remembered waking in a fit of coughs. Coughing up one's lungs while lying down was always painful, so she immediately bolted upwards to relieve the pressure. Finally, after a deep intake of stale air, the teen found that her throat was no longer itching and that's when she realized her surroundings.

"What the undersized sea monster..." She pushed her hand gently against the dilapidated cot, as if questioning how it held her up the entire time she was out for the count. The first thing she wanted to do was panic, but an overwhelming feeling of disgust came over her instead. How was it... that there was a toilet but no sink? Did these people have no thought of personal hygiene?!? Good grief! What if I contract some disease? What use am I to you guys now? They were going to go through all the sweat to kidnap her only to have her die of unhealthy living conditions. The logic of people baffles me sometimes."

Sighing to herself and maybe to a couple filthy rodents in hiding, Thelesis walked to the doorway and stood there for a brief second. She was definitely confused by the way these "kidnappers" conducted themselves. Leave the place filthy, have no guards and leave the door wide open.

"Oh well, what's your loss... is my gain!" Thel murmured happily to herself, finding herself skipping down the hallways. But the more Thel skipped, the more disenchanted she began to become. The walls were all the same and there seemed to be absolutely no crack in the system. All the doors led to dead end rooms and the flickering of flourescents were seriously starting to grate on her nerves.

"C'est l'amour."

There was a muffled groan, a loud yawn, a brief moment of silence, and then a surprised shout as the blond male shot up, looking around the unfamiliar room. His emerald eyes wide and alert, he scanned for any sign of where the hell he was. He muttered a curse briefly under his breath before sighing in relief- he wasn't in any immediate threat. And yet, he still had no clue as to his whereabouts. The room seemed old, unused except for... well, him.

Where in the nine circles of Hell am I?

Stretching his arms (in a rather contorted manner) to the point of pain, he released another yawn before getting off the bed and stretching his legs. His knees popped- something that only happened when he'd been still for a long time. He looked toward the exit, where the door was strangely left wide open. An eyebrow raised, he made his way toward the opening and glanced out, looking for any sign of life.

At that moment, a young woman made her way around the corner- she seemed to be skipping, but only half-heartedly, as if she was losing her enthusiasm with each step. The look on her face made him think she was in the same situation as he was.

Lost.

"Uh, hello?" he called, stepping out of his room with a light wave toward the woman. "Pardon me, but... what is this place?"

"A needle and thread is your best friend!"

"Human life form! Score!" Thelesis called out, ecstatic that she found someone in the god forsaken place. She picked up her pace and ran the down the length of the hall, shaking her head at the bad layout of the place. If she could, she'd get some interior designer 'cause the feng sui here was all out of whack. But of course, with all kidnapping scenes, her side bag was missing so she couldn't even throw up a couple pieces of colorful fabric shreds. Thel sighed, all she was left with a spool of white thread and the needle... so at least she could patch up tears... thank god. Not all hope was lost... yet.

She trotted up to the doorway, a quizzical look on her face. He looked her age but the way he was dressed made him look older and more mature. She felt oddly under dressed even among the bland walls and roaches, and twisted one of the bracelets on her wrist.

"Nice outfit, especially the choker. I'm digging the choker," Man, Thel was such a conversation starter. She mentally smacked herself upside the head and told herself to start over. "Uhm, if you're asking that question, I'm guessing you're a lost as me?"

"Do you know where we are?..."

"Of course I do."

"Oh...Alright Amadeus!"

A companionable silence filled between the two as they continued onward down the hall. It didn't matter if no one else was around, really. A lot of people caused problems. Maybe it was best if no one else was in this...odd place. Elijah was confused, having been the second one up out of the two brothers. He had woken up when Amadeus was pushing his chair down a hallway. Upon asking where they were, looking around in interest, he was merely told that Amadeus knew exactly where he was. In response, the ebony haired boy merely smiled and sat back, content with wherever they were going. It wasn't uncommon for Amadeus to suddenly take him out somewhere, and thus, he wasn't worried. He trusted his brother completely, and thus, had no reason to suspect anything.

Thankfully, Amadeus was good at lying. Despite the fact he didn't like lying to his brother, he would rather keep the fact he didn't know where they were to himself. It was only the responsible thing to do. Besides, Elijah would worry, and then start questioning him, and then start to think he was a liar, and then he would hate Amadeus forever. That was something that wasn't allowed to happen in Amadeus's book, ever. So, for now, he would only tell Elijah that he knew were they were, and he would take care of it. The boy didn't need to know that he had been traveling down the halls for over an hour trying to find a way out. "Why don't you get your DS out and play that for a little bit?" He finally suggested, glancing down at the boy with his one visible eye.

Elijah tilted his head up to peer at the other upside down. "I left it at home before we went to the market," came the response, the two brothers watching one another before Amadeus broke the stare off, looking up to make sure he didn't push his brother down a flight of stairs.

"Well, how about your ipod?"

"I'm not in the mood to listen to it right now.

"I'm sorry to hear that."

"You're hiding something from me, Amadeus."

At this, the tall, dark haired person stopped, glancing down at the boy in the wheelchair. The boy looked up at him, his expression calm and innocent as ever. "You always try to make light conversation when you're hiding something." Looking at his elder sibling, the blue eyed boy smiled warmly. "It's okay, Deus. You can tell me. You don't need to worry about me all the time like you do." Once again, the two made eye connection before Amadeus looked away and continued.

"Nope."

"...What?"

"Nope."

"Deus, tell me!"

"Woof."

"Deus!"

User Image

With a sigh, Amadeus put his hand on his brothers head and ruffled his hair (ignoring the aggravated exclamations of protest) in a noogie like fashion. "Fine, fine. Only if you promise not to get all riled up, alright?"

"Yes, mother."

"I'm going to bite you if you call me that again."

A laugh emitted from the boy in the chair, followed by a smirk from the taller figure walking through the halls. Amadeus wouldn't allow himself to feel hesitant about the entire situation. He'd find them a way out. He was the big brother, after all. He wouldn't let anything bad happen to Elijah, wouldn't let any sort of doubts enter his younger siblings mind or let any fears get near him. It was his duty as an elder brother, after all.

"C'est l'amour."

As the young woman (who was rather gorgeous, there was no doubt) excitedly shouted something about 'human life' before running down the hall toward him, he put two and two together easily enough. He was right; she, too, was lost in this strange complex. He almost frowned, but kept a reassuring facade up as she neared and began to speak- the facade, however, cracked with an unexpected chuckle at her response.

"Thanks, I'm rather fond of it myself," he said with a grin, brushing a strand of blond hair behind his ears. She had some extremely deep blue eyes, and wasn't exactly lacking in the fashion department either. "Yeeep. I just woke up, actually. Sort of freaked out, to be honest, but could be worse, right? Still in one piece, after all."

Woooow, morbid. Way to break the ice. Moron.

"I'm Soryuju. Soryuju Ryutetsin. And yourself?" he asked, giving a dramatic, joking bow, as if to make things more light-hearted. And in fact, that's what he aimed to do- heavens knows they didn't need anything to bring them down when they were already in a completely unfamiliar location with no memory of how they got there.

"A needle and thread is your best friend!"

Thelesis smiled, she liked his sense of humor. Better this then running into a man who just cried and panicked, then she'd probably slap him and dress him in lace. But this guy she liked. "Definitely. Got all my limbs in place, haven't thought about it that way, definitely makes me day a bit brighter. Though the fact that there seems to be NOTHING for miles puts a dampener on the fact all my limbs are intact," She replied with a broad smile.

She was a little startled when he bowed, she didn't meet a lot of people that bowed anymore. Belching was more common to her than bowing. Then he told her his name which seemed a bit long and complicated but it was original and it rolled around her head nicely. After all, what if she met... what if she met a Fred?

So of course, she curtsied with a light laugh; picking up the longer end of her underskirt just gently. "The name's Thelesis Adella Laurcel, but please, call me Thel," She knew her whole name was a mouthful but she always felt obligated to say it for some reason. Maybe because she liked the name Adella more than the name Thelesis. "Pleasure to meet your acquaintance."
