The leader of the unnamed senshi team walked purposely through the snow towards the little coffee shop known as Shufflepuck. Reanna Marshall looked more grim than she usually did as she stepped off of the curb and onto the street, looking both ways haphazardly and not bothering to brush a strand of strawberry blonde hair out of her face. Her eyes seemed more serious, somehow, and the bags under her eyes indicated she had not slept well the night before, nightmares keeping her from a restful sleep. Otherwise, nothing seemed out of the norm -- her blue coat was buttoned up with a careful precision, her dark green turtleneck poking out from beneath the cream fur lining. A light snow had dusted her shoulders and hair, but beyond that, despite her slightly haggard appearance, nothing seemed particularly unusual.
In truth, on the inside, Rea was feeling an inner turmoil only kept under wraps due to stubborn pride. After that day at the hospital, everything had been a rush of confusion and emotion she could not control, not only with Helios and Kunzite, but with Charys. Charys, who had left Team Seven. Team Seven, now Team Six, or Team Whatever-it-didn't-matter-because-she-couldn't-lead-them-anyway. When the bluenette had left, she had also left behind the seed of doubt in Rea's mind, planted deep, already starting to spread roots. Would they all leave? Was she capable enough to lead?
She had to know. And they had a right to know. So she had called the meeting.
Pushing open the door to the cafe, Rea didn't bother to shake the snow out of her hair, instead moving to sit down at one of the tables, slowly starting to remove her coat.

Ume came in close behind, her face was a mask, but her eyes were worried. She had her own news to share, she'd met some of the Zodiac's, not much to share perhaps, she really didn't know but still. Her fingers brushed the table as she approached Rea, the look on her face though.
"Hey... you ok?" She asked soft enough that it was just them, not the rest of the coffee shop.
She pulled off her own red coat and folded it over her arm for a moment, paused and then fished a little box out of her coat pocket, a tiny thing of white cardboard with a bit of lace. "here.. for later, theirs a book too but, I forgot it." She said with a little smile.

Eve Summers followed close behind her roommate, and the always more cheerful one of the two was skipping, looking bright-eyed even though it was still cold. It was probably attributed to the fact that she had finally gotten that 'blasted thing off', or so that was what she had named her cast. The snow, for once, did not seem to bother her; she seemed too delighted about the fact that she could walk around freely again. "You're quiet." She observed, as she walked (or really, skipped) besides Rea. But Rea had always been a quiet girl, from the first day she had met her.
Though she had been unnaturally quiet, and no amount of prodding would get her to speak. Frankly, Eve was a tad bit worried. And a team meeting? Was there some serious announcement? It seemed serious enough.
"Hey." She said to Ume. "How's things?"

Rea hadn't answered when Eve had mentioned she was quiet. She had merely brushed it off the entire way to the coffee shop, responding in two word, cryptic answers that didn't at all answer the question or respond well to the statement, her eyes on her roommate, but her mind obviously other places. She hadn't told Eve yet that Charys had decided to leave their team, although she had briefly brushed on what had happened inside the hospital, ending their brief conversation with 'I'll explain at the meeting.'
Pulling one of the chairs out from beneath the table, she was just taking a seat when Ume appeared, Rea's eyes lifting to the black-haired girl as she leaned down to murmur low to her and her roomie, giving a non-committal nod at her question. Blinking a little in surprise when she produced the box, Rea took it gently between her fingertips, giving it a slow look over before putting it aside for later as she had suggested, giving her an appreciative look. "Thank you... that's very sweet of you," she replied in an even tone, just a hint of the true appreciation touching her voice. She didn't smile.
"Do we know if the others are coming?"

If she had anything else to do today, she would have skipped out on the team meeting and caught up with someone else later to get filled in on all that happened. Honestly, people had invented cell phones and computers for a reason. But, whatever, she'd come to this little group meeting. It'd make her family believe that she was getting better at 'making friends', so it wasn't completely out of her favor. Delphine would show up, try to like her teammates, and get to the important business of... whatever this meeting was about.
Sigh.
The only reason she was so gun-ho about this team idea was because patrolling was getting difficult for her. She was one senshi, and one senshi who could hardly throw a good punch, and had an attack that was based more on defense. Of course, through each battle she was finding ways to make her attack work to her advantage. Delphine had gotten into the habit of conserving it for when she really needed it, and until then grabbing whatever was at hand and giving some youma a good smack down.
"Hey." It was easy enough to find Rea, Ume, and Eve. Delphine was surprised Charys wasn't here yet, but oh well. Maybe they'd get the ball rolling already so Delphine would have time to do something interesting later. With another sigh she turned off her ipod and stuck it in her purse. There, she was all eyes and ears.
Participation credit goes to Delphine Amary!

"I -think- thier coming?" Ume said glancing out the windows hoping to see someone walking in. "I have news too! I met another team the other night! They had a princess, and...well I'll wait..." She said flashing a small smile. Better not to explain it twice.

sighsighsigh. Beth was late, REALLY late. This is why chloe decided it would be better to not take the damn bus and just walk. These kids were so damn lazy... and that hunk of junk was never reliable. She learned from her last mistake... next time she will force Beth to walk if she had to drag her by her senshi butt bow.
Beth was no where to be seen- but Chloe was here. If the redhead was too late for the meeting.. she could just brief her later. Though this did not mean the feline wouldn't be pissed later either. Settled outside the cafe she leaped up ontop of a bench- and looked inside the window. s**t- beth was not there but almost everyone else was. She couldnt just sneak inside- she would be spotted. Damn being a ******** it.
"Mrrooowwwrr." translation- "HEY YOU ******** GET OUT HERE.' She thought saying that in human tongue wouldn't have made the stupid humans any less happy to see her. So for now- she kept on meowing and hoping one of the senshi inside would hear her and find a way to smuggle her inside.

Flora. Ume. And herself made three. Blue-green eyes shifted a little as Delphine appeared, putting her ipod away and giving a surprising amount of attention towards the other three girls, and Rea added another mental tally to their count. Without Charys, their team had been bumped down from seven to six. That left two more unaccounted for. One of which being their guardian cat.
Ume's words brought her back from her head-count, and Rea's expression shifted momentarily away from the flat, blank expression she had had before, genuinely surprised. "Another team?" For some reason, the news was relatively comforting to Rea. It meant their 'establishment' wasn't going to be held completely accountable for all of destiny city. To Helios, it was the princess part that really focused their entire attention on Ume, an almost undetectable flicker of gold in her eyes.
"They have a princess?"
What if it was her? She would know where the prince was, surely... she would... meow?
"Oh, Chloe."
As soon as she realized their guardian cat was stuck outside, the strawberry blonde senshi was standing, pushing away from the table and moving towards the door, sliding her coat back over her shoulders. Truth was, Rea was looking for an excuse to get up. An excuse for a normally painfully calm senshi to fidget. Pushing open the door, she went to sit down on the bench Chloe had leaped up onto, flipping open her cell phone and pretending to have no connection with the cat, just in case. With the cat directly behind her like that, she could talk without suspicion. And with the cell phone, it wouldn't look like she was crazy. "Beth not coming?" Rea asked, staring off into the street and reaching back to open her hood a bit, so the cat could climb in.

When Rea settled herself next to Chloe, chloe scooted herself to sit next to her- and tilted her head down so no one could see her mouth move.
"Late as usual." She spat venomously. " She goes on about hating to be late but look at her! She needs some serious training." Her tail lashed around behind her in irritation.
"On a different note- sorry for myself even being a little late. Got caught up by some stupid mutt whom thought i was a snack." Mumbling something about no respect- she climbed into the hoood when no one was looking and settled herself inside. "Thank you." Chloe didn't normally give thanks lightly... so this might seem a bit odd to Rea. "Did i miss anything?" She added trying to change the subject back to more important issues.

"It'll come with time," Rea replied, nodding in reply and momentarily forgetting she was suppose to be on a cell phone. For some reason, just having Chloe there was enough to calm the senshi's nerves a bit, muscles she hadn't known she'd been tensing relaxing as she listened to the cat's typical annoyed tone. It was comforting, in a way she couldn't really explain without diving into a speech about responsibility and sharing leadership and experience and things that she would find very difficult to say aloud. Instead, she slid down the bench a little so Chloe could climb into her hood, looking like a slouching teenager until the Siamese had settled herself in the bottom of the hood.
"Not yet. Everyone else is inside," she replied, making sure the cat was comfortable before straightening. If she noticed that Chloe's thanks was unusual, she didn't say anything about it.Instead she stood calmly, brushing the snow off her skirt before opening the door the the cafe again, going to sit back down with the others and placing her coat gently on the table so Chloe would have a hiding spot. "We'll fill Beth in when she arrives," she clicked the cell phone shut, staring at it for a moment before glancing up at the other senshi.
A few seconds of silence went by.
"Charys is gone," she said a little brusquely, "She left the team."

Ume's eyes widened for a moment at the revelation, gone?... quit? But... she was the whole reason that Ume was part of this team, she knew people and now... "Why?" she asked softly, though from the look on her face it was clear that she suspected the answer.

"A princess?" Eve echoed. She probably wasn't the only senshi that had that longing to find their princess, she had figured, although no one would know yet that her princess was different from the moon princess most of the senshi out there. It was interesting though, to hear news of another team, and though Eve was curious, they had to wait for Beth and Chlo-- oh. The meow had caught her attention too, and she waited as Rea went over to get her.
And now they all knew the reason of Rea's silence earlier. Charys... was gone? "Where did she go?" Eve asked quietly, a small frown appearing on her face. How could she just leave like that?

Delphine wasn't too interested in news of a princess, because a princess was not their princess - and Delphine had greater things to worry about at the moment. Charys had quit, had ******** decided to walk out. Delphine had thought she would be the first one to give up on this team, but it seems like Charys had beet her to it - and Charys had been one of the better members of their team. Great, now what were they reduced to? A cat, a leader senshi who COULD NOT lead (evidence given by Charys leaving), and other senshi that had Delphine now questioning their use.
"Good job, 'oh fine and mighty' leader. You get an A+ on ******** up the team," the unspoken words being 'by letting Charys go'. "Better yet, I'll personally give you a golden star for Worst Screwup of the Year." Her arms had folded against her chest, posture stiff, practically oozing unhappiness from her every pore. "I think this was the best decision of my life, agreeing to join a team completely encompassed by an unshakable feeling of failure."
It wouldn't have surprised other senshi if Delphine upped and quit - but she didn't do that, if only because Charys had beat her to it, and she didn't want to fall into that girl's footsteps. So, instead of quitting, she seemed intent on berating and belittling Pegasus. It was going to become her new hobby. "Who cares where she's gone?" Delphine cried out exapseratedly to Eve. "She's gone, Rea let her go. Good job on electing an incompetent team leader. Let's all give ourselves a pat on the back."

Rea kept a straight face through the 'why's, 'where's and 'nice going's, that feeling of inadequacy that was slowly getting familiar to her beginning to coil in her stomach, unsettling her. Surprisingly, despite the accusing, belittling speech on Delphine's part, it was Eve and Ume's answers that were really eating her alive. The way they were looking at her, expectantly, confused, seeking answers that she could not fully give was worse than the anger. Anger she would deal with.
"I don't know why. Likely something to do with someone we lost... I don't know who, yet," She replied a little weakly, a suspicious feeling in her gut telling her she did not really want to know who it was, "And Florida. She said Florida. Probably more of Charys' humor."
Rea let her voice trail off at that, looking tense and guilty as well as a little heartbroken, despite all her efforts. Nemesis' words were the last straw. It was the outlet for her own feeling of worthlessness, generously supplied by a senshi she already thought to be her rival of sorts. That... and she knew she could handle it. Digging her fingertips into the table, Rea leaned across it at the other girl, looking fierce and angry -- an uncommon look for the strawberry-blonde girl.
"I did NOT let her go," She replied, her voice tight. She conveniently did not bring up that it was Charys who had elected her in the first place. "I didn't want this job, if you'll recall. But I don't see you stepping up and begging for it either. I may not be a good leader, but at least I know what is going on! If you want to leave, leave, but don't use Charys' departure and my failure as an excuse for your own cowardice!"

From under the jacket that Rea had placed for Chloe to hide- a hiss escaped and was directed at Delphine. "Shut the ******** up." Malice was evident in her tone- malice seemed to be the only thing that got through to the pig headed nemesis. "Do you think you could have done any ******** better? What would you have done, shackled her by her a** bow? For all YOU know, she might have had a REASON for leaving. A Reason to PROTECT all our asses or- even better- something only she could have done for the greater cause. We are a team brought together by a common enemy. We are a team that if there was nothing wrong out there-" A paw stuck out from the side of the coat- 'pointing' towards the window. "- There would have been NO NEED TO AWAKEN YOU."
"We are in this team to find the princess. We are hear to protect the very world that we live on. If you have a problem with that then maybe you should have ******** stayed a lone senshi- one whom doesnt have the support that a teamed senshi has. Charys is the kind of person to not leave something like this lightly. Yes she is a 'I DO WHAT I WANT' Senshi but she has TRUE FRIENDS sitting around us." The last comment was directed at Rea, Eve, and Ume. "Do you really think she abandoned us? She is STILL out there doing what she needs to do. Maybe you should do the ******** same and do what you were destined to do. Rea did her best, and you know what? She is a better leader than we could have asked for- she knows when to let go."
Shuffling around the coat a little more- she settled down. " We have a Saying as a Guardian cat, and you know what that is? 'To Protect and Serve'. And you know who we protect, and serve? You. Do you think any of us are taking this lightly? We are one man down. If this is any ones fault it is my own for not being more a tentative and doing my duty."
