On the other note of the Cubi race, it is the combined turm used for the Incubus and thier more well known female gender, the Succubus. There are many, many faces to thies creatures and more often then not its the story of the evil sex demon that comes to you in your sleep and steals your soul... my main asuption of why this is simply because of one fact. If you where to wright a book on something you didnt fully understand, what would you wright about? the boring facts that mite make said creature seem more respectful? or the darker side of the minority of the population that would attract much more attention and sell more books?
...I thought so... its the same as wrighting a book of humans being a very primitive, violent, decetful and parasitic race, yes those do exist amung us but we are not all that way. But I digress. Mostly my understanding of sifting through the noise to find the signal was thus and dont thwak me over the head if I get something wrong. -.-
The Cubi more commonly known as Succubus and the male side Incubus, have many origins that none of can be found true. Some old stories tell them to be a sub-demon race... other of them being the head of the lower food chain, some will say that they are the product of celestials getting along a bit too well with nether-beasts (angles and demons for those whom I've already lost, though the mentioned sub-classes have differences from the typicly known, but again thats for later.) and some just think them to be monsters created out of some stupid humans trying to summon monsters and demons to the mortal world and having thier bodies transfixed with any that was to be thier punishment. Its hard to say what gender had the higher hand when it came to dominance as there is little on that subject however thier food source makes them out to be someone related to vampires... as much as I hate to say it. The cubi are mostly seen as parasitic in nature when it comes to the subject of nutriance in that they absorb what they need from others but unlike the blood sucking nature of the vampires they would feed on the innermost esesnce of life itself, the soul. Often keeping prisoners in mental slavery spells the Cubi would steal away shard after shard of the victoms life force whenever it is needed to prolong thier own lives. Now this is not to say they are immortal as they are, by report, suppose to be vonerable to a fatal strike (i.e. decapitation or removal of major organ or open enough room for the subject to bleed to death within a short period of time.)

And yes, you may have noticed a pattern here... everything with thies people is all 'demon demon, rawr rawr' -.- I know I shouldnt blame them for exibiting typical human behavior of being frightened of what they dont understand... but still I wish to beat some people to death with a large spoon what it comes to assumptions...
