 Aulii frowned at the ground, he knew he had left it right there. Right... there. He lifted his arm and pointed a chubby index finger at the spot where he knew it should be. "Where is it?" He demanded of the ground as he now stomped his foot on the ground. It was the ground that was wrong, not him, he knew it was supposed to be there. Aulii plopped himself down on the ground and pouted in frustration. "I want my ballllllll" he whined.

 Waikiki KiKi was wandering back from a nice swim and surf on the beach. She really did like it there even if that meant she no longer saw Zuri. It was his loss as much as her's.
As the female walked she saw a little angel boy. What was he doing? And alone? The girl couldn't help but go and find out.
"Aloha! Whatcha doing?"

"Aloha?! Where?! What?!" Aulii shouted, thinking it was some sort of creature he should be watching out for. He pulled his legs under him, sat up on his knees, and looked around himself suspiciously, maybe the Aloha is what stole his ball... "You know who took my ball? The Aloha?" he asked the lady. She was an adult, she would know

"Ah, no." Waikiki KiKi wasn't used to others not knowing what "Aloha" meant. She was just too used to her family who all used the greeting. "It means hello. And it means goodbye, but I meant it as hello." The adult smiled warmly. "Someone took you ball?"

I word that meant hello and goodbye? But those words were opposites. "How do I know which one people mean?" He asked the adult, she had told him hello, but if everyone else had to explain that they were saying hello or goodbye, why not just say hello or goodbye? His head spun around for a little bit. Until she reminded him about his ball. "Yeah! At least... I think so... It is supposed to be right here." He pointed to the ground.

Waikiki KiKi giggled. "Well, I guess if one is seeing someone it would be hello and if one is leaving then goodbye." She had never thought about it much. Of course they didn't really use it much for goodbye.
The adult began to look for the child's ball. "What does it look like?" Waikiki KiKi asked when she realized she didn't know what she was looking for besides a ball.

Aulii furrowed his eyebrows, thinking about aloha. "Ye-ah, I guess that makes sense" he decided. Now he knew a new word, that was pretty cool. "My ball has lots of colors like..." Aulii paused to think of the colors on his ball "Blue... and Red... and Yellow" He counted on his fingers to make sure he had said all the colors. "Yeah! And they go in stripes down the ball."

"Okay..." The adult said as she began to look around. It was a ball. This means it could have rolled or bounced anywhere. Maybe the boy had more to go on then that?
"And you last had it here?" Waikiki KiKi asked trying to get all the info.

Okay? Aulii looked up at the adult with big, puppy eyes. This was not okay, did she not believe him about his ball. "I really did lose my ball, it was right here. I left it out here when I went back inside last night." He tried to explain. At least he was sure he'd left it here, it was likely he had left it someplace else, but he didn't think he was wrong.

Waikiki KiKi nodded to the boy. "Okay, it's alright. Then it still must be here somewhere." With that the female began to look.
She started with the area around the boy. The grass and plants that could hide a small ball. Waikiki KiKi hadn't asked the size, but she figured it was small.

Aulii nodded his head "Thank you." He had never really asked her to help him, but he was glad she was. The lady would probably have an easier time finding it then him because she was so high up. Aulii crawled around looking down low for the ball and checking in bushes and plants.

"Do you think it could have rolled away?" Waikiki KiKi asked as she walked further away from the boy. "You're welcome." She also said with a nod. She was always willing to help out others. It was the nice thing to do and that's what her family had taught her.

"Well, uhm, maybe it rolled." Aulii wasn't really sure if his ball would roll away. Maybe it could have. He continued to crawl on the ground looking for his ball. Then, out of the corner of his eyes he spotted something colorful. He stood up and ran over to it. "I found it!!" He shouted excitedly. "It was right where I left it!" Huh, that didn't make sense, he had thought that he had left it at that other spot, but he had really been playing here the day before.

Waikiki Kiki heard the boy's voice and began to walk back to him. Before she did she too found a nice ball. "What about this one?" She asked as she brought it with her to him. The girl chuckled thinking there was another kid out there missing their ball.

Aulii walked up to her and looked at the ball. "No, that's not my ball, this is." He showed her the ball he had described that was now in his hand. "But that is a nice ball..." He stared at it for a while before he reached his hand out for it.
