Well, I've always been alliance, but my friends and I just can't help ourselves anymore and have decided to faction change AND server xfer. So, I was hoping you guys could reccomend me a server where Horde have excellent progression that is better or on par with the alliance, preferably in the central or pacific time zones. Doesn't matter if it's pvp or pve or whatever. I've heard Mal'ganis is a good server to be a horde in, but I just wanted to know from you guys. Thanks. :]

ANY server is a good server to be in the Horde.
Down in Ravenholdt (PvPRP) the horde spanks Alli in most BG's and always Wintergrasp. (Unless the Alli's get the sympathy buff where they get 12 siege vehicles within the first minute of the game.)
So I'd recommend Ravenholdt. :]
Plus I'm lonely there as I finally switched my 80 mage back to Ravenholdt from Dawnbringer. ._.

thrall is insane with horde... but it was one of the first servers so the horrible economy and down-right assholic elitism kinda kills it.
scryers you wanna stay away from. there isnt all that many horde and they tend to win WG once every three months.
Azshara is kinda barren as well.
that's about all the horde news i know. Horde dont have gnomes so therefore i dont roll horde

Gnomes are bad, they have terrible all around stat gain per level, bad class stats at start for every class besides rogue and lock (I think) and they are obnoxious. Just go to illidan. Nobody can mess with the guilds on that server. Blood legion spanks everything, they win every wg, because of their massive gear advantage. Hit up there, or Destromath, its pretty equal at destromath, and that's my server =)

Stormscale is even population wise. the progression is decent, with many, if not all, hardcore guilds having downed Putricide by now. the economy isn't that great though and the elitist attitude is very prevalent.

Level 80 Warlock ANY server is a good server to be in the Horde.

I was in PhD there for like 2 weeks and finally transferred my Druid onto my main server Magtheridon... By the way, STAY CLEAR OF MAG... Its a Joke both Horde and Alliance.

stay clear of Medivh, the horde is VERY cliquey and its impossible to do anything outside a guild. And most guilds are full on everything.
I've been having an AWESOME time on Jubei'thos, my pvp partner convinced me to xfer my disc priest with him, but the times for raiding leave much to be desired (3 am EST or later). Perfect for an insomniac college student with all afternoon classes who passes out after classes then wakes up at 2 for raids, not good for someone with a life. But if you don't mind the times, horde on Jubei are awesome.
Lol pvp partner and me now have a system. He logs on at 5 on his medivh char, goes "zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz" and we run heroics. then later in the night, when I'm going "zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz" we hop over to Jubei'thos and pvp.

Arygos Horde progression is terrible. Alliance is decent though, the top guild there is in the top 100 US.
Horde on Sen'jin is pretty terrible too, the only guild worth anything there is like having the word "a*****e" stamped on your forehead.
Stay away from Battlegroup Nightfall and especially Jaedenar. That is the place everyone goes when their brain cells die. sad

Dawnbringer people were so uptight. Or maybe it was just the guild I was in. Top 2 raid guild of the server, so I guess it's to be expected..

Ehh I found it easy too get into PhD lol.
Im an OLD PreBC raider and I kinda dont raid for loot so guilds do actually like me for that. Plus im a healer so im helpful too boot.

I play Malfurion and it is a good server for horde. Though we have this problem with a guild called Did it for whitney...avoid them, they like to ninja alot of crap and are elitist bastards. Alliance isnt all its cracked up to be.
