Creep stalks through the shadows, being as silent as possible. She loved this time of day, right before full nightfall. When other Kimeti are still about, but usually rushing to return home or make camp. For Creep, it's the best time, because they aren't paying attention and can be easily scared.
She's spent the past few days scouting this area of the swamp. And to her delight, found it gets pretty heavy traffic. So now, Creep is looking for a prime spot along the trail. One with easy access away so she can move about. After several minutes, she finds it. An open area, separated from the trail by thick brush, and a small trail of it's own that runs a good length near the one Creep is stalking. Picking her spot, Creep hunkers down and watchs the trail through small gaps in the bushes.

Blossom picked her way in the small path carefully. She looked from side to side with wide eyes. It was getting late and she should have been back at her glen by now, but she lost track of time picking daisies. The pink doe's efforts were fruitful that day, and she had a few prized ones in her mouth, roots and all, and held them gently between her teeth. Her teeth clattered, though, as the swamp began to make eerie noises. Hopefully she'll make it back before the sun fully sets. She wanted to plant them in her garden before the light faded completely.
She looked to the sunset, it was near complete and its beauty was fading. Her eyes took it all in, for she wouldn't see such beauty until the next morning.

To her great joy, Creep hears hoofsteps coming near. Peering out, she sees a pink doe coming closer. With a grin, the black doe picks her way toward the other along her hidden path. Once close enough, practically next to her victim, Creep stops and bending down, she rustles the bushes, at about the height of a lynx. Next, she lets out a growl, one she's practiced to get just right, to sound as a lynx as well. Looking through gaps in the foliage, Creep grins again, eager for the look of fright and panic on the does face.

Blossom heard the rustle and stopped dead in her tracks. A shiver ran up and down her spine and she could feel every hair on her body p***k up. Then she heard the growl. What was that? She spun in the direction it came from, teeth chattering. The stems of her flowers slowly whithered from the battering. But she wasn't concerned with that, right now she feared for her life! Blossom was no fighter, oh no, fighting never crossed her mind. A lynx would surely tear her apart! She backed up, legs weak with fright. Her eyes grew wide and her breath uneven.
"H...h-hello?" she whimpered. "Is s-s-someone there?"

Biting her lip to keep from laughing out loud, Creep watches the pink doe, her plan had worked. Now, she wiggles into the bushes, getting closer to the path. Reading herself, Creep springs out at the pink doe, growling and baring her teeth, long crimson tongue sticking out to make it look even longer. Much like a snake, wriggling around between her jaws. "RAWRR!"

All Blossom saw was a large black mass with a snaking red tongue. She couldn't even recognize what manner of creature it was! She cried out in fear and jerked her body back, landing on her rump. She kicked out her forelegs pathetically to fend off the attacker, closing her eyes in panic. The flowers fell to the ground as the sun's rays diminished. She scrambled to get back to her hooves, but fell again and desperately tried to find where her attacker was. Better to face her foe then let it get you in the back...right?

No second attack is forthcoming, though, as Creep is rolling around laughing and giggling like she'd heard the best joke ever. "Heehaaw you.. shoulda.. seen your.. face!" she gasps between giggles.

Blossom, although thoroughly relieved to know she wasn't being attacked, squinted and moved closer to see the doe.
"W-what?..." was all she managed to utter. She could not fathom why someone would do such a thing! She shook her head, confused. Her legs still trembled from the fright, so she simply collapsed to the floor and cocked her head at the black doe. Looking down, she realized that in her panic, her precious flowers were crushed. She had spent all day picking those fine specimens...Most kimeti would have been enraged, but the pink doe only sighed and shook her head. Listening to her trickster, she could tell the doe was only trying to have fun...right?...An odd way to have fun, yes, but still fun for her at least...
"Do you do this often?" she asked, still looking at the corpses of her flowers.

Recovering, Creep rolls onto her belly, then gets up on her hooves. "Oh all the time. Scaring unsuspecting Kimeti, and even animals, is loads of fun." with that, Creep trots off, ready to find a new patch of the swamp to stalk.

Blossom raised her brow at the strange doe as she left. What a curious kimeti. She hoped her next victim would not be so afraid as she was. A cold shiver ran down her spine as it started to get truly dark. Casting a quick glance at the deceased flowers, Blossom took her hoof and covered them with muddy soil, returning them to the swamp. Then she took flight back to her meadow, where it was safe. Who knows what would lie in wait for her at night?
But that doe... She wasn't so afraid of her anymore....but the doe still gave her the creeps
