You guys might or might not have noticed I haven't been on as much lately, that's due to a computer problem that's come up, and try as I might I'm not having much luck fixing it. If anybody has some technical know-how I'd appreciate some ideas so I can get back to my MMD productions >.<
At first I figured my graphics drivers were dieing, so I updated those. No good. Then I scanned for viruses, malware, spyware (you get the picture). I ran CCleaner and have set it to run automatically whenever I turn on my pc now. I even re-installed flash and shockwave (got rid of Firefox because the latest version is supposed to have bugs). That DID eliminate the issue of my display looking like a pixelated nightmare, but the freezing still occurs.
Somebody even suggested my computer might be overheating! I admit during the summer we either had the AC on or the windows open to get rid of stale air, but despite my 'cooling solution' which actually did bring my Hard Drive temp down (my system was fine, remaining at 30 degrees Celsius) this still didn't get rid of the freezing. If anything I think it got worse.
If it does much good, my computer is a 1 year old eMachines EL1200 with 1Gb of RAM, a 160Gb partitioned hard drive running Win XP, a Nvidia Geforce 6150SE Graphics card, AMD Athlon 2650e (yes I still use single core, not that it's ever been a problem before xD) processor & an nforce 430 motherboard.
