Dear Genius Academy student,
______I would like to personally welcome you to our school. You and your unique ability have gotten you into one of the best schools of the nation. At our school, we have two goals. We want to supply our kids with top quality education about anything and everything they need to succeed in life. Then secondly – and most importantly – to teach our children how to control their powers and develop them into means that they can live with. Doesn’t that sound wonderful? Well, you my dear have been accepted into this boarding school where you can feel accepted and be able to grow.
______We also have a certain program that makes our school unique. Every year we have certain battles and competitions to become a Genius Legend. The Genius Legends are heroes at the school. They get special privileges! You can become a genius legend by defeating all the other genius legends. At the moment, there are 7 Legends. We’re looking for the 8th genius legend. Genius Legends are important to our school because it shows that those students have mastered there powers. You are strongly encouraged to strive to become one.
______At our school, you will have eight classes. Four classes every day and it will run on an A day B day schedule. Four of your classes will be academic classes (the normal subjects ~ math, science, language arts, and history). Then the other four are your electives. During your high school career, you are required to have one credit in foreign languages, one credit in fine arts, two credits in physical education, and eight credits in power related classes. You will always be taking one class specified for power control and development. You will get a list of classes along with your schedule in this letter. Your schedule is decided based on the classes you took previous years. If you have a problem with any of your classes and want your scheduled changed go to the main office and we will work it out. We also have a wonderful college program. It is new and does not have very many classes yet. If you want to add a course talk to the administrators and we can see what we can do. You will get a list of these classes when you are a senior in high school picking your college class.
______Room and Board is fully covered and does not cost you a cent. Your room comes with a dresser, a bed, a small TV, and a desk. You are allowed to bring whatever furniture you want or paint your room whenever. You are required to paint your room back to its old color when leaving and take all your access furniture with you. You cannot harm or take the furniture we provided with you when you leave. Your room has its own bathroom, closet, and main living facility. It’s a medium sized room but should be big enough to be assessable to you.
______We also provide you with food for no charge. You must get lunch with your student card that has a picture ID on it. There are numerous snack machines throughout the school that cost cash. Some stuff in the line cost a little extra. We also proved you school supplies for a small price in the school store right next to the main office. It has school supplies, first aid and famine products, and school spirit items. We encourage all of our students to have a few school spirit items since it goes to found our school. Because we provide you with so many things for free, we encourage your parents to donate or buy something at our annual events. We have a silent art auction every year and at parents day adults can donate in the front office.

No full fledge roleplaying. If you want to do actions, do them like this: *tackles Shauna*, -slaps Kyuubi-, etc.

You can curse, just not to much.

Break away from everybody, break away from everything.-= I currently live in north Texas, but my bff and I are planning on getting a house in west Texas, since my grandparents have two houses, one of which is unused. It's kind of in BFE, but it's our own place. biggrin =- If you can't stand the way this place is, take yourself to higher places.

Sounds amazing. i really wanna live in New York City with my bestfriend, we plan on moving next to each other when we move outta here.
I plan on visiting Abline (oops on spelling) texas when i get a car. (since i have friends there). But i'm stuck in dreaded florida, until i turn 18.
edit: I decided that the RP is in Harbor Springs, Michigan! Yay. I always thought of it near Cali, but since we're having cold weather and i plan on it snowing, i figured by the great lakes would be fun. Therefore, Michigan it is (since we're do having it near water). It also fits because of the amount of woodslife in that area, which goes with Thorne's 'Special Place'.

Break away from everybody, break away from everything.-= Ah, logical choice of place. I always get a bit confused when I don't know where something is located that I'm RPing in. xD I love woods and wilderness, though. I'm excitedd.
Ahh yes, I have to drive through Abilene to visit my grandparents. Driving cross-state, though, is pretty difficult, especially from Florida to Texas. That's a pretty long haul you're talkin about there. I'm flyin to Florida this summer for a Harry Potter convention called Infintus. I've driven into other states before, but it wasn't any significant distance from where I am; Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, all states sharing a border with me. I don't really understand the desire to live in NYC, but good luck anyway. :] =- If you can't stand the way this place is, take yourself to higher places.
