Hmm, the last time I smoked was October on Halloween last year. So it's been about 4 or 5 months? It's not that I'm stopping or anything. I mean honestly, I would want to have a bong, and rip one right now.

Well, there is no such thing as physical addiction to marijuana. It's not an addictive substance like other drugs are. But SOME people can become what you might consider addicted, mentally. For example, my friend thinks he's addicted, it's just because he loves it so damn much. But when he runs out of weed his body is fine without it. The body is not addicted, the person just desires it. He sure does waste an awful lot of money on it though! So I'll agree with you, addiction can be a problem, even if it's not technically addiction.

My point was just that marijuana causes no symptoms upon withdrawal. But yea.. you can use the word addiction even when it's not an addiction that causes symptoms upon withdrawal. Like.. I used to be addicted to Gaia and also a MMORPG sweatdrop

Hey I learned something new. It seems despite popular belief that there are no physiological symptoms upon withdrawal, many people have reported such symptoms! http://addiction-dirkh.blogspot.com/2009/12/marijuana-withdrawal-survey-of-symptoms.html
insomnia, vivid dreams, sweating, nausea, loss of appetite, irritability, restlessness, anxiety! eek
They all make sense to me, cuz when you use marijuana you cover up most of those issues. You sleep better, cure nausea, increase appetite, calm irritability, restlessness and anxiety. Not sure about the sweating part though.

I sometimes sweat HEAVILY, like a portion of my total water content, when I sleep. I didn't think it had to do anything with that though..I thought it was because my body doesn't know how to control its temperature at night.

But, for me, just to be on the safe side I don't think I'll smoke.
