Appearance : If one were to take a quick look over a crowd of people it would be easy to miss Sagara at first, she's not tall or exceptionally beautiful, she's not prone to wearing outlandish clothing or making any attempt whatsoever to stand out from her peers. She's of average height - possibly leaning a little towards the short side of the scale as 5'5 and has an athletic build from years of hard work on her parents horse breeding farm. Her features are soft and friendly looking giving her the 'girl next door' feeling of approachability. Her skin tends to be on the tanned side in warmer weather from hours spent outside but pales quickly in the cooler months to a more light-skinned complexion with blue-grey eyes that seem to watch and weigh everything around her and seems to vary in hue depending on her mood and clothing, sometimes more blue...other times more grey. Her hands are calloused, nails rarely longer then her fingertips and it's not surprising to find a bit of embedded grime underneath them as well. She bares a scar on her right shoulder blade the size of a small stone that appears to be a burn scar and stands out more in the summer when her skin is tanned.
Sagara is most comfortable in casual working clothing, tall black boots jeans or riding pants and a neutral colored (black,brown,tan or cream) coloured sweater or short sleeve shirt, sometimes she might go out on a limb and try something in hunter green but that's about as 'dressed up' as she's typically willing to go voluntarily. She's not one for dresses or belts or bangles of any kind with the exception of a black stone horse pendant on a leather thong around her neck.Her hair is mid-length and seems to waver from straight to slightly wavy depending on the weather and how much bother she puts into it, generally it's worn in a pony tail or other easy to do style that keeps it out of her face, once in a while if she has a good enough reason she'll leave it loose and work a few braids or beads into it, but thats rare. Her movements are always graceful and balanced making you think she migh have been suited to life as a dancer...though I probably wouldn't tell her that.
Personality : Sagara is a very patient person and seems to always observe and weigh everything around her before chiming in with her own opinions,though this might make people think she's particularly thoughtful in reality Sagara just doesn't like being seen as stupid, something growing up in the country sometimes elicits from city born, Sagara is particularly resentful of the 'country bumpkin' title and so tries to excel in most academics. She tends to be a loner, preferring the company of a few choice friends to a large group of nearly unknowns. To those she calls friends however Sagara is fiercely loyal, almost to a fault and can be counted on to lend a helping hand when one is needed.
Though she seems patient and collected most of the time, it should be noted that Sagara does have a temper, it might take her a long time to get angry but when she does she makes sure those around her know it and has been known to carry a grudge for a very long time and even seek revenge (in the form of embarrassing practical jokes) quite some time later. She tends to take offence more to disparaging comments or actions taken against her friends then anything said or done to her as she can be somewhat over protective and territorial over what she considers 'hers'. Her friends,her home,her things. She is also prone to jealousy - should one of her friends begin to develop a close attachment to another, but tried to keep this under wraps considering this a big flaw in her character that she wants to improve.
These flaws are not the forefront of her personality however, fore the most part Sagara is a pretty cheerful person when amongst her friends and enjoys getting a few laughs here and there by playing harmless practical jokes on well whomever she sets her sites on really and though this might get her into trouble from time to time Sagara honestly can't seem to help herself.She's not against bending the rules a little bit to have some fun

History :Sagara had a relatively normal childhood, her parents Ree and Saviin were moderately successful livestock breeders. Sagara grew up helping them on the family farm and gained a special affinity for horses - something not entirely unheard of for a little girl to do.Though life was sometimes difficult Sagara's family was close and they always managed to find a way through the hard years.Though she never had any siblings Sagara made friends with children of the neighbouring farms, often times riding their ponies out to spend a day wreaking havoc in the woods and when they weren't available she always had the farms animals to keep her company.
Although she didn't grow up in what would be considered privilege, neither did she want for anything important. Her clothing might not be fancy but they were warm in the winter and Sagara couldn't really ask for anything else. She grew to love the farm and enjoyed working on it throughout her early and mid-teen years, even dreamed of someday taking it over when her parents were no longer capable of running it.
But then the fire came..and while this led to the discovery of her Daemon, it meant she lost everything else, and is still in some ways reeling from this loss, unsure just what she's going to do with her life now, and a question she is trying to answer during her time at Jaradin college.
