Itzel was happpy happier then she could ever remember being... not that she could really remember anything. But she managing to keep more in her head then ever before. She rememebrd more then jsut her name, she knew that she had a home now, and someone who was watching over her.

The white lion skipped around her new home land quite happy. She was humming lightly watching the nature move around her, she loved the environment, particularly water.

A curious day, no doubt. Her limp didn't hurt as much as usual, especially considering she'd been walking for the past few hours. It made her a lot less moody and a little more tired, probably because she walked a lot more than she usually would have on such a hot day. Still, when she caught onto the scent of water not too long ago she decided on stopping at its source once she found it - which was now. The leopardess slowly made her way over, careful not to make her limp ache too much. With a final grimace she reached the edge of the water, lowered her head and took a drink. The cool liquid was very welcomed, and as soon as she'd taken her fill she glanced up to take a better look at her surroundings. She spotted a streak of white not too far off, but she paid it no mind. It was probably just another rogue like herself, no need to pay any attention to it.

Itzel came up to the waters edge, and spotted the lightly colored leopard. She grinned, a friend how exciting! She moved quickly towards the leopardess, her facial expression showerd that she meant no harm but she was moving rather quickly in her excitment.

"Hello, isn't the water lovely." she greeted the other one, excited that perhaps she found someone who liked water as much as she did.

Kat was taken back by the sudden approach of the lioness, a bit of anxiety apparent on her face. She wasn't used to one who had so much energy, but she seemed to mean no harm. Her words immediately brought Kat's eyes to the water's surface as she nodded rather dumbly to the question. "I suppose so," she replied, not sure what else to say. "It's refreshing, especially for a wanderer such as myself." The femme was never usually so obliging to other rogues, but she'd been having a pretty good day. No reason to spoil it, right? "I am Katu'chemka," she continued, promptly introducing herself. "Most just call me Kat, be it friend or stranger. Who might you be?"

Itzel sat so not as to not appear as a violent, or dominant. "My name is Itzel, it is a pleasure to meet you." Itzel studied her new friends, it was nice to meet others in her opinion.

"You are a wonderer? Where is you home then?" Itzel wondered. Itzel didn't remember her own home so it was always fun to hear about others homes. Itzel imagined that she had a home at one point, she liked to think it was a nice home.

"My home used to be within the jungle, but I've since left that place," she answered, surprised at her own honesty. If it were any other day she'd simply brush off the question and move on. "Most do, or so I've heard, in order to find a home more fitting for them. I don't count myself as one with such a quest though." Kat shrugged, head cast down as she stared at her reflection against the surface of the little pond. "Itzel," she started, glancing up at the lioness once more. "Are you a wanderer as well? Or do you have a home?"

"I suppose I am kind of both" Itzel answered, "I use to wonder, it was what my gut tells me to do, but as of recently ihave settled in this area. I have a friend that is watching over me." she told the leopardess, and then realizing that explanation probably lacked to someone who didn't know her story and problems with memory.

"I don't have memory of life really, I forget stuff you see. For instance I couldn't tell you what I did yesterday. But I am getting better, I remember the lion who has promised to protect me." she smiled thinking of the purple male who had rescued here from the void of her memory.

Kat nodded, noting that the lioness's life seemed slightly more difficult than hers. Only slightly. "I see," she said, again not really knowing what else to say. "Sometimes I wish I had no memory of my past, so in some instances I don't see how your condition is so bad. I suppose it would be very inconvenient, perhaps even lonely, to not have any memories of what's happened in your past.." The femme stopped mid-sentence, realizing that she'd gone from simply replying to completely thinking out loud. "I think I've spoken a bit out line," she said after a moment of silence. "I...will try not to do it again." She'd never been good at apologizing, more because she didn't like having to admit fault than anything else. "In any case, it's good that you've found a home, temporary or otherwise."

"You do not have to worry my dear. I do not feel saddened by my lack of memory. Instead I look at it as an adventure, everyday is new, whethere it really is or not. I love life, its just simple as that."

"I love my home, I don't know how long I will stay but it is great!" she said simply looking around her. "I mean I have this river right here, and there is plenty of birds to watch fly around, and a fair number of heards in the area to feed from as well." Itzel was truely a happy go luckly lioness and it shone through quite a bit in her personality and speach.

"That's a rather positive outlook," she answered with a bit of a grin. "I don't think I could love life as much as you," she started, a calming expression taking over as she glanced toward the distance. She'd have to get going again soon. "Sometimes I wish I could enjoy life as much as others do, but I believe I'll reach that place at my own pace." It was something she'd thought about for many hours, usually at night when she didn't (or couldn't) sleep, and the conclusion of such thoughts was something she'd contentedly settled on. She'd take life on as it came - and all things considered, she'd come a long way from her outlook as an adolescent out on her own. "Anyway, I think I have to get going again. It was nice meeting you, Itzel. Perhaps our paths will cross again."

At that the leopardess stood up, still keeping the weight off of her bad paw to ensure that she wouldn't overwork it by accident. The leopardess offered Itzel one last smile. Then she turned and started to wander once again.

Itzel nodded, it would be nice if they met again, but the chances of her remembering the leopardess were slim, but she wasn't going to say anything. As the wondered turned and left Itzel rose to her feet and moved in to the water to enjoy a lovely swim, she could spend her afternoon here before going and finding her lion.
