the following contest is a nontitle match scheduled for one fall. introducing first....

Jarel appears on the titantron standing in his office. "Cartwright, let me just say congratulations. Now I know you plan to be a fighting champion, so let's get it started now. Now, tonight, I promised you a surprise opponent, which i feel the need to personally introduce. and no, it's not me. But this person felt the need to return to XCW when he found out you were champion. He said something about this being a serious injustice. He signed a new contract, along with a former partner of his, and even brought in a new entrance music. Well, new to him anyway. He is a former XCW Undisputed, Intercontinental, and tag team champion, and still the only man in the history of the company to hold all three championships at the same time. So without further ado, I present to you, your opponent for this evening...."

the opening chords to Michael & Janet Jackson's Scream begin to play. Jarel vanishes from the titantron and it begins to flicker. first an image pops up with only the large letter Z. It then flickers to an image of Zarel Damone, and the crowd begins to cheer. Michaels screams and Zarel steps out onto the stage as the lyrics start


(Michael):
Tired of injustice
Tired of the schemes
Kinda disgusted
So what does it mean
Kicking me down
I got to get up
As jacked as it sounds
The whole system sucks

at the pause in lyrics, a glass had been placed at the entrance. the titantron changes from highlights of Zarel to highlights of Janelle Damone. The glass breaks, revealing Janelle standing in the entranceway, dressed in black leather pants and a black halter top with her hair down long. She walks out and the crowd erupts as the song continues

(Janet):
Peek in the shadow
Come into the light
You tell me I'm wrong
Then you better prove you're right
You're sellin' out souls

I've got to get stronger
And I won't give up the fight

(Michael):
With such confusion don't itmake you wanna scream
You bash abusing victimize within the scheme
(Janet):

Janelle leads the way down to the ring, dancing to the music. Zarel follows behind her with a smirk on his face

Janelle and Zarel seperate to high five some fans along the way

(Michael):

(Michael):

Janelle and Zarel reach the end of the ramp and stop, Zarel still smirking as he looks into the ring

Zarel steps up onto the apron. On the titantron it flickers between the highlights of the two siblings

"Now entering the ring, his opponent, accompanied by Janelle Damone, from St Louis Missouri, weighing in at 328 pounds, Zarel Damone!"

(Janet):
Oh my God, can't believe what I saw
As I turned on the TV this evening
I was disgusted by all the injustice
All the injustice
(Michael):
All the injustice


Zarel steps into the ring over the top rope while Janelle slides in on the opposite side of the ring. Zarel raises his fists as flames erupt from the turnbuckles.

(Michael):
With such collusions don't it make you wanna scream
Your bash abusin' victimize within the scheme
(Janet):
You try to cope with every lie they scrutinize
(Both):
Oh brother please have mercy cause I just can't take it

Zarel turns finally to face Cartwright as the music begins to fade on the chorus

zarel shakes his hand and goes into the lock up. being bigger, Zarel attempts to overpower Cartwright with one hard shove towards the turnbuckle

(Sorry dude, I've struggled on today to try and keep up!)

Cart slaps his face a couple of times to try and psyche himself up and then charges at Zarel, attempting a powerful lock-up!

Cartwright is caught, but tries to turn the powerslam into a small package!

Zarel powers out of the pin at two and rolls to his feet, waiting for cartwright to stand to attempt a clothesline

Zarel brushes his hair back from his face, then looks to pull cart up and toss him against the turnbuckle

(time for an ending to this)

Zarel lands some big rights hands to the champion. Zarel irish whips Cartwright to the opposite turnbuckle, then immediately follows him in with a clothesline. Zarel steps back and lets Cartwright stumble out, then lifts him up and hits a running powerslam back in the center of the ring. Zarel quickly goes for a pin.

one...two...

Cartwright kicks out. Zarel pulls him up and whips him to the ropes, then goes for a boot to the face. Cartwright ducks and hits the ropes, then rebounds with a hard clothesline to take Zarel down. Cartwright gets up first and Zarel quickly follows. Cartwright attempts a whip but Zarel reverses and goes for a back body drop. Cartwright counters in a spinning neckbreaker, then goes for a pin.

one...two..

Zarel kicks out. Cartwright gets up and goes out onto the apron. Zarel gets up and Cartwright hits a springboard clothesline to take him back down. Cartwright follows with a knee drop across the face, then goes for a pin.

one...two...

Zarel kicks out again.

Styles: Cartwright is taking control and keeping the pressure on his larger opponent.
Foley: they were tag team partners for almost a year here in XCW, so obviously Cartwright knows not to let up.

Cartwright climbs the turnbuckle and goes for the Cartwright Crush but Zarel moves out of the way, letting him crash to the mat.

styles: Zarel had that well scouted. Can he cap off his return with a win over the Undisputed champion?
Foley: Zarel has to know Cartwright as well as Cartwright knows him. This match can always go either way.

Zarel stands up and raises his hand, signalling for the chokeslam. cartwright stands and is grabbed by the throat, then lifted up and planted with chokeslam. He signals for the end and lifts Cartwright up, then plants him with the cradle piledriver and pins him.

one....two....three!

Scream hits as the fans erupt and Zarel stands up.

Announcer: Here is your winner, Zarel Damone!

Styles: what a return for Zarel Damone with another convincing victory over Cartwright.
Foley: That has to put him in the title picture.

the lights suddenly cut out and a gong sounds, stopping the music. The lights come on to reveal the Undertaker standing in the ring. Zarel turns and the Undertaker grabs him by the throat, then plants him with a chokeslam

Styles: It's the Undertaker!
Foley: He has something to say about the title picture i guess.

The Phenom's music hits as blue light covers the arena and the Undertaker stands tall over Zarel and cartwright
