As long as its temporary and you are strict on water changes, i dont see a problem.

yeah, i was a bad girl and went back and got him just a bit ago. i didnt have time to set up a quarentine spot since he popped his bag and water was leaking everywhere in the car. they didnt double bag him and plecos have really stiff fins. well when i got home i just plopped him in out of panic and by then the damage is done so i left him in there.
so far he is hiding in the corner and everyone is ignoring him. he is so cute though. he is a butterfly pleco according to the store and has the hugest eyes. he also stole the bristle nose's favorite hiding spot
he looks a bit like this but his stripes are more broken in the front, maybe due to bad breeding? http://www.aqua-fish.net/imgs/fish1/butterfly-pleco-profile.jpg

ok so his name is caine. ive got no idea if its a male or female though. he is also done hiding it seems and has been exploring the tank, even comming up to the glass whne i move around. so far he seems alot braver than my bristlenose
and thus my pleco collection is up to 2 ^.^
