But, Just wanted to share my exciting news with you guys!
For My 16th birthday, my mom is buying me a bass guitar and paying for lessons. I'm super excited, I've always wanted to play bass guitar.
Oh and, They're so pretty, and it's fun to take a self portrait with one :]

eek WIIIIINNNNN!!!!! You need to learn how to play 241 by Reel Big Fish! (If your playing bass, you should learn to love Ska music. walking bass lines are AWESOME!) listen to #7!and yeah, we do need a chatter box. . . I guess we could just use the main forum for that as well for now. . . *shrugs*

Kokihi eek WIIIIINNNNN!!!!! You need to learn how to play 241 by Reel Big Fish! (If your playing bass, you should learn to love Ska music. walking bass lines are AWESOME!) listen to #7!and yeah, we do need a chatter box. . . I guess we could just use the main forum for that as well for now. . . *shrugs* Haha, yeah I guess the main form has morphed into our chatter :] Haha, I'll check it out. She wanted me to learn guitar but I was like NOOOO

Oh, haha. I said no because I have never met a gril bassist, and I used to play cello, which is kinda like a bass but not really, haha

I bet you'll do well Lula! Especially if you played the Cello before! I tried to play the clarinet like ages ago and I was ok ... I could never learn to read notes.
I've always been more visually artistic ... though I'm a pretty good singer biggrin

I could never learn to read notes. I've always been more visually artistic ... though I'm a pretty good singer biggrin Well to be honest, I can't remember how to read notes. It's been such a long time D: I'm really good at learning things just by hearing them though. Haha, but hopfully I'll ree-learn to read notes!

I was in band in Highschool all four years (I played percussion. . . basically anything percussion accept mallets and the timpani because I suffer from the kind of tone deafness that is usually associated with actual deafness.*) for finals we would be given a piece of sheet music we had never played before and as a band, play through it three times. our grades depended on how well we were able to sight read the music. **Paper towns anyone? no? read it. its by John Green

In the middle of yelling at us about breaking stuff, he broke a table. . . Also the drumline captain/ percussion section leader was making paper air plains on his drum and throwing them to the trumpet section leader. XDDD
