 The current kazekage's office appears completely normal upon first inspection. It is round, like those of many other kage and papers are strewn about carelessly on the large desk. The bookshelf in the corner appears to be getting very little use as well. However, looking closer, the houseplant next to the window overlooking the village appears to have been... chewed on?

Within every illusion, there is reality"  "Sparring? ...So...this 'mission' is really just more training? *sigh* What a let down..."This mission seemed a lot less appealing to Akeru now that she knew it really wasn't something of importance. Then again, it was at least sparring, so she'd get to test herself in combat against another opponent. She'd never really got to test herself against someone who was on her own level, so this would be an opportunity to prove to everyone how strong she was. "Travelling all the way out to cloud just to spar seems like a waste of time to me, but I guess it means I get to fight something other than other suna ninja at least. It'll be good to see the world outside of the desert for a while."Akeru hadn't encountered many other genjutsu specialists in Suna, so she wondered what this jonin was supposed to teach her. Even if he did know a few genjutsu techniques, she doubted that he would have a style as genjutsu-oriented as she did. She had seen others that specialized in using wind, lightning, sand, and puppets, but none as dedicated to illusions as as her. "This jonin instructor who is going to train me...who is he? I haven't really found many others with abilities as...unique as mine. Are you sure he's going to be able to train me properly?"

 A tall, rather pale figure had walked in as she said this. He had tattoos and symbols painted on nearly half of his body and held a sword close to his back as he glared down at the girl.
"Ah, Regimaru. Right on time. Akeru, this is Regimaru Ookido. He'll be your jounin," said Sazoru with a wry smile on his face before leaning down on Akeru to whisper in her ear, "He had his vocal cords removed when he was still a chunin. He doesn't speak. And if I were you, I'd be wise enough to mind him. He's not as lenient as I am."

Within every illusion, there is reality" So, her teacher was a mute. Akeru didn't know if this was supposed to be some kind of joke or not, but it definitely didn't sit right with her. Sure, she figured this Jonin was probably strong, but how could he be her teacher? "Are you serious, Kazekage-sama? How can I have a teacher that can't talk? What, is he going to teach me using sign language or something? I understand that he's probably a great ninja, but doesn't a teacher need to be able to tell me what to do?"Akeru could tell that regimaru had a serious look about him. Once she saw his glare, she could just feel like he wasn't the type of instructor that would let her get away with alot. And he looked very strong and skilled. Akeru decided that this wasn't a person she wanted to be on the bad side of. She wasn't afraid of him, of course, but it would just be the wiser course of action. "You know what? You and Regimaru-sensei have a lot more experience and probably know much more about what's good for me than I do, so...I'm just going to keep my complaints to myself. It's an honor to meet you, Regimaru-sensei"

"Excellent!" beamed the Kazekage, "That's all good to hear. Did you hear that, Regi~? She said it was an honor~!"
The man simply dignified Sazoru with a glare and got out a notebook and pencil as he began to write something down in a scribble-like motion, revealing to him what he wrote on the paper:
'I'm mute, I'm not deaf.
Is she the only one I'll be taking along with me?'
"There, see?" said Sazoru as he smiled at Akeru, "Does that answer your question? He does speak after all."
Regimaru wrote down another message and revealed it to Sazoru and Akeru with a look of defiance in his eyes:
'Dumb a**
Wise a**.'
"Putting all that aside," said Sazoru with a smile, "There is one more person who'll be coming with you. He's in the Training Canyon right now. Go catch him before her gets home, alright?"
'Will do.'
Wrote Regimaru as he turned to Akeru, nodding his head as he left the office. His attention turned to the notebook as he handed her another message:
'Smart choice. I may be mute, but I'm not crippled.
And as to your orders, you leave that up to me. I'm not as bad as Noharu.
But try and steal my notebook and pencil, you lose an arm.'

Within every illusion, there is reality" So he's going to teach me by writing instructions...I guess that's better than sign language...Though it'll be funny to see what he does when he runs out of paper or his pencil breaks... And I hope he's good at spelling, I hate spelling errors...So far, she seemed to be right about Regimaru. He did seem like he had a low tolerance for tomfoolery; then again everything he 'said' seemed less threatening when conveyed through paper. Though the ferocity of his presence was definitely enhanced by the the silence. Akeru was pretty sure Regimaru wouldn't allow himself to be the guinea pig for testing out some new genjutsu, so she was hoping this other person they were going to be travelling with would be more of a pushover. For now, however, she was jst going to concentrate on not getting her teacher angry, especially since she didn't know what he could do. "I got it, Regimaru-sensei. If I need to write a note, get my own pencil and paper. Wouldn't be able to write anyway missing my arm... So, are we going to go get this guy at the training canyons, or...actually, I'll just follow your lead, sensei. I can already tell you're a guy that doesn't like a lot of pointless talking..."

Regimaru wrote down something on his notebook and showed her what he had written when they had left the office,
'I don't mind talking. Just don't be a smart-a**.
If there's one thing I can't stand, it's a smart a**.
And I can see you're a nice girl with a good head on your shoulders.
Don't have to worry much about you. The last student I had tried to be
a smart-a** and steal my notebook and pencil away so I wouldn't write to him. I broke his arm in three places, but I didn't chop it off.
Wish I had though.'
He had then nodded his head at the attendant sitting behind the desk and left the building with Akeru following behind.

Within every illusion, there is reality" "I'm smart enough to know not to go messing around with Jonin and expect to get away with it. Nope, not unless I was a jonin myself or something like that. It's one of my personal rules to avoid a horible and untimely death. So I'll be saving all my smart-assery for people on my own skill level."Akeru began to wonder what it was that Regimaru could do. He had that sword, so he probably was skilled with it and had a couple techniques to back up his swordplay. She hoped that he wouldn't expect her to fight with a sword too, she much prefered hand to hand combat. "So, to the training canyons to pick up this other guy, and then we'll be out of here, right? I have to admit, I'm excited to leave the village on a mission, even if it is just sparring."((Next post in Training canyons))

Kiri entered the Kazekage's office and approached the desk. Kazekage-sama, I was wondering if I have been assigned to a team yet? Kiri had graduated the academy a few days earlier and had yet to be assigned teammates. She was starting to worry that maybe they had decided she couldn't be a Sand shinobi after all. Looking to the Kazekage, she awaited an answer

 Random ThiefThe chair swiveled around as the shrouded man looked at the boy, he had honestly came into the room to steal some things but was interrupted when the boy walked in. That and the fact that nothing had been moved in yet of the new Kazekage, only thing that was there was the single folder of recent decisions made by the true Kazekage. "Actually, I have, you will be in team three, however, I haven't been able to place a jonin with you yet, so you can go train in the training fields until one is assigned." He said slyly impersonating the leader of the village.

Random ThiefThe man stood and began rushing the boy out, "I haven't been able to place anyone with you yet, but as soon as I do I will send them to the Training Canyons to find you! But I have to go, I have to go watch the chunin exams." He said literally pushing the boy out of the room. He locked the door back and sprinted out the open window, hoping the boy wouldn't notice him.
