Sometimes traveling by land is not a choice.
The Land of Water is only assessable by sea
for example. If you are headed out there...
make sure you can swim please.

OOC: This is a MASSIVE area. Chances
are you won't run into other players here. You
mainly use this place to go from one town to another.

"AH HA HA HA! ATTENTION PASSENGERS: LAND HAS BEEN SIGHTED! APPROACHING LAND OF WATER IN APPROXIMATELY THREE HOURS!"

"HEY, KID! GET DOWN FROM THERE!"
"HOW'D HE GET UP THE MAST LIKE THAT!?"
"AT LEAST HANG ON WITH BOTH HANDS, KID! YER GONNA FALL!"

Shuniji was having the time of his life aboard the ferry that was currently transporting the team from the Land of Lightning south to the Land of Water. It hadn't taken that long to reach the coast, and they'd left the Village Hidden in the Clouds early enough that finding a ferry wasn't difficult either. So far things were literally smooth sailing.

At least it was for Shuniji, who'd gotten irritated at the expanse of ocean making him feel tiny and insignificant several hours ago, and decided to remedy the sensation by forcing everyone in the vicinity to look at him.

He accomplished this quite nicely by chakra-climbing the mast up to the crows nest where he shouted "friendly advice" at the passengers and laughed as the crew tried to get him to come down.

Seika let out an aggravated sigh as she hung over the ships railing. She wasn't seasick or anything. She was just pissed off that her cat Neko was clinging desperately for life on her back. Not to mention, Shun was being a tard head. ''I hate boats.'' She said flatly with a now depressed look. This was her first experience on any sort of Ferry. . .annnnd it was now ruined by Shun, thanks. . .Seika rolled her eyes and stared at the water curiously, just waiting for some kind of sea monster to just pop out and eat everybody.

"They don't like you either."

Shuniji was far too wound up to formulate a wittier reply as he leaped down from the mast and landed on the railing next to Seika.

There were shouts of suprise from the crew members at his sudden disappearance. Most of them yelled curses at him, but content with that he'd gotten off the mast (and stopped screaming), they went back to work.

They didn't bother trying to get him off the railing anymore. By now, most of them hoped he'd fall overboard.

"So... Got any leads from that Jashin-girl you're not sharing with us? We'll be able to go home much faster if you let us help~"

Seika scoffed at Shun's reply to her complaints. ''I don't care.'' she hissed with a scowl, not bothering to move when Shun monkeyed his way on the railing next to her. Seika said nothing in response to Shun's next question. She just stared off into the distance. That was a problem. Seika didn't want to go back home, As much as it pained her to think about it. She knew what the odds of her winning the competition was.

She let out a light sigh and shot Shun a sidelong -glance. Seika didn't want to end up like Kai either. She valued herself before others. Except with that Ichite-ru kid. . .she still couldn't explain her kind attitude towards him. Was that. . .what it was like to have Friends? No. . .Her Cat was her BEST friend. Ichite-ru was something more to her. BUT WHY?! Seika sunk half her body over the railing and yanked her hair in frustration. ''I HATE EVERYBODY, WHY IS THIS SO DIFFERENT?!'' She shouted in frustration, stomping her foot on the ground.

It was then she noticed Shun's existence. ''Oh. . .i guess i could tell you something about that.'' she said with little apathy as possible and rested her elbows on the railing, perching her chin in her palms. ''They told me she likes to get close for her kills. Though, isn't much for using normal jutsu. They also said she's paired with a mist nin named Bruno" When Seika was finished, she sighed and turned completely away from Shun. She was upset about the whole ordeal she had been pondering about. Seika felt trapped. . . like there was no escape for her. So out of frustration she decided to both avoid and ignore Sparkle man, Shun.

Shuniji blinked in surprse at Seika's random outburst, but listened calmly as she told him a few details regarding the mission. He highly doubted she would keep what little she obviously knew from him. Seika wasn't stupid.

"She's confident then," Shuniji inferred, nodding at Seika's information, "She prefers to rely on her own 'skills' rather than take the standard approach of a well-rounded ninja. She's got her body guard for that."

He gripped the railing and leaned back to stare at the sky. His long hair whipped around in the salty sea breeze.

"We've got to assume the worst, though; that she's specialized for a reason. She's still got to have a weakness though, what, with having this Bruno guy around. While our mission is disposing of the girl, it will most likely come down to taking out the guy in order to make our target's weakness known."

Shuniji pulled himself back into an upright position. He could see the docks come into view. It looked like they'd be in Mist any moment now.

Kaichou had been quiet the whole way; Well did he have a choice? He could care less about what they were conversing. His only job was to assist, Had he been told otherwise he'd probably care more. If they got attacked then so be it. Of course it didn't mean he wasn't going to chip in and help them both. Kai stiffly cracked his neck and slowly stood up, making his way over to the both Shuniji and Seika. He noticed Seika was leaning against the bars and thought it would be funny to pull a small prank on her. He neared Seika until he was right behind her, Then shoved her forward playfully.

Shiro landed on the ground perfectly but continued on word following the sensei still. Shiro nodded his head abit then looked at Inochi " Yea maybe your right... it was our first mission as a team... thanks Inochi. " Said Shiro with a smile but looked forward again and started thinking something else not that it was off his mind now. The ocean was a perfect place for him to water train if he was going to be stuck on a boat for awhile.

The briny sea air stung Karibachi's nose as the trees gave way to a small hidden port where a flat sailboat was stationed. It was nondescriptly painted and hoisted a plain white sail towards the back of the boat. To ANBU where on the deck, apparently waiting for them. This was the Hokage's plan. The assault on the Mist kage meant that they where under international pressure to aid. It seemed that someone who was possibly connected to the person who attacked their Counter-Intelligence office. This made their situation twice as important and by extension three times as dangerous. The ANBU escorts where for their own protection- even Karibachi had agreed to this. The group would have to double time it- the Hokage had expressed that quiet passionately... the old man had a way with words.

The genin nodded in agreement as the team came across the boat. With only two ninja to man a boat like that... mist was good deal farther then this small fishing boat could go in a short time if the situation was really dire. And ANBU? Why did they need 2 ANBU? That was a little overkill...

"Unn, yeah... I'm sure we'll run into lots of stuff like that...lets do our best to toughen up... or whatever..."

Shiro came across the boat along with the team and examined the details for a moment. 2 Anbu members with a small fishing boat that can be powered by two men easly but shiro knew that if they brought two anbu members then something was going down. Shiro looked at Inochi as he spoke about toughing up or something and asked the sensei this question " How long will it take us to get there in this small boat? " Shiro was planning to get some training in or something if it was going to be awhile.

Shikaru landed alongside his teammates. He took note of the boat, and of the ANBU guards that he had assumed to have been assigned to accompany them. This could only mean trouble, but Shikaru held in his observance. He thought about what he could do to pass some time, probably squeeze in some training or reading, most likely the latter to conserve on chakra.

Seika shot shun another sidelong glance. It was actually something they could work with. Plus, Kai seemed to have a fair amount of skill when it came to the offensive attacks. Shun wasn't so bad himself either. ''I wouldn't worry about it.'' she said flatly, perching her chin back in her palms. ''We may have some quarrels with each other, but it doesn't mean we aren't capable of handling things ourselves.'' For once Seika showed a bit of optimism. ''Let's talk about strategy when we get off the bo-'' Seika was cut off by Kai shoving her, making her elbow slip and her chin made a very hard landing on the bars. She even bit her tongue. ''GOD DAMN YOU, KAI. ******** OFF!'' she shouted and literally shoved him out of her way. The boat was docked, so she went ahead off of the boat. Her chin looked swollen, her mouth was bleeding a bit, but it's nothing she couldn't handle.

(Post at the gate i guess. xD)

A short time later the boat was sea-born. The ANBU where preforming the tasks necessary to keep the boat moving at a rigorous pace- even without wind someone.
Without so much as a word Karibachi stood stoically at the bow looking towards the ever thickening mist on the horizon. He seemed lost in thought- a million miles away from their tiny little boat on the great ocean. The massive scroll he had was still strapped to his back. It was true... once an ANBU always an ANBU. Still, it must be lonely for them. To leave their lives, their names, and their loved ones behind in hopes of making a little difference for the village as a whole...

Shiro looked out from the boat in the sea on the left side of the ship. It was very calm and quiet with only the sound of the water moving and birds chirping above. It seemed to be more tranquil here on this ship then back home in the village were he was constantly working. Shiro closed his eyes thinking for a moment. He graduated two years ago but just the headband the other day. But back then he may have been too young to know the reason why he was held back from getting his. Shiro looked up and turned his head to look at the ANBU performing the tasks that were necessary to keep the boat moving. They were working hard and yet silents was around them all on this boat. With a small smile Shiro took a step back and walked to the front of the ship were Karibachi was. He stopped before he got too close to Karibachi and looked out to the massive mist that laid on the horizon.
