After contemplating her mothers advice for a few days she decided that she should take up her advice. Perhaps she should seek out a male and have cubs herself. At least it would give her something to do for a bit and she could stop feeling she had done nothing for the clan. At least she could find a bright male and give her mothers bright granddaughters.
with her mind made up she headed from her clan's territory and toward where the male's lived. She knew she'd be able to find one and after a bit of walking around it did not take her long to pick out a bright pink body from the others.
He was surprised when he heard someone calling out to him and looked up see a good sized white female coming toward him. She wasn't coming to him for that was he? already? he almost flailed slightly a she stopped infront of him. "Yes ma'ma?"

"Kijicho. I dont need to feel like an old one yet." She shook her head at his choice to address her. she couldn't really believe that she was talking to one of these. She ahd never talked to a male that wasn't her brother and she wasn't really sure how to go about doing it.
"I..." She frowned slightly before sitting down in front of him. "You are bright and i think my mother would approve of our match"
Oh lords she was asking that! He wasn't ready to be a father. Not Yet....
"Um yes .... i am honored.. I hope i can ... your mother?" Did that mean she was one of -that- clan? why was she picking him when there were others who would fit better? Even Kipaku would be a better choice.

"Yes. My mother. Our colors will compliment each other and hopefully give at least one daughter that will carry the clan's colors." Why was she telling him this again? Hopefully her mother wouldn't get onto her for letting too much information out. Some times she got a little .... particular about who knew what.
"You are strong looking and i want you to father my cubs"
"Oh you are of the, that , clan. I am honored." he had thought for sure that those females would pass him by. This one hadn't though for some reason. Perhaps it was because her bright blue and his pink could make that purple that her clan so loved

"You should be." she snapped. The males shouldn't say things like that. They should know that it was a honor if a female picked them. "you should not say things like that. you should just know it is. Useless waste of words."
she could see why her mother didn't like males. He even looked like he'd be stupid. All that fluff in his head.
"Forgive me..." His ears fell a little. He should have remembered that they really didn't like males. he'd have to remember to say as little as he could and get away with it.
"If you would like ... whenever you are ready, i know a small clearing that is private." so long as Kipaku wasn't there today

"Now ..." before she lost her nerve and changed her mind. "you can take me there now." At least he was intelligent enough to know that they would need privacy and would not force her to find a place for them.
"You can lead the way since i do not want to get lost in this part of the jungle"
He nodded his head carefully. "This way then..." Hopefully Kipaku wouldn't be there and he wouldn't have to ask him to leave. At least it would take time before she came to get him for the actual cubs and he could explain things to his friend
