The Forest Field!
Thick trees sprout at random places throughout the field, some small while others seem to reach out and touch the ceiling of the stadium. As with ancient trees, some roots are seen being thrust above the ground which makes easy for a pokemon to trip if they do not watch where they are going. Spacing between the trunks vary, making passage difficult for those on the ground and in the air. The ground is littered with piles of pine needles, leaves, and sticks of all sizes; several tree trunks and rotting logs can be found scattered around as well. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to BUG type attacks. This field also reduces damage from FLYING type attacks by 25 HP.

Meeka hopped into the stadium, her Tentacruel friend bouncing after her as Territe again tried to keep a steady hold onto her head. She twitched her nose a little bit before flailing rapidly.
"Ver, are you ready for this?!" she screamed with all her might and the Tentacruel responded by flapping his tentacles about in a morbidly content fashion.
Even louder this time, Meeka hollered, "ARE YOU READY?!" and quickened her mimicry of a frightened Farfetch'd. Ver continued to wiggle his tentacles before his trainer pointed into the middle of the field. "Well, let's get this show on the road!"
Verkratchting skittered onto the grass and mashed himself up onto the land like a blob of jelly. He waited for his opponent . . . though he was obviously going up against one of his friends.

Sao strolled onto her side of the stadium. A trainer had, again, let her borrow one of their pokemon to practice with. She rubbed her hair and looked at the pokeball Meeka had given her. Hopefully it goes better this time... In her first battle, Sao had been thoroughly trumped by a little blue mew and it did a number on her confidence.
She tossed the pokeball into the arena.
"Alright, here we go... Kiruru-Kii, go!"
The Ursaring came out of the red and white ball, but didn't look very interested in the battle.

(( I always feel weird choosing from all learned moves and tm/hms, but hooray biggrin ))
Gotta act fast and smart this time... A look of determination crossed her face and she pointed at the Tentacruel.
"Kiruru-Kii! Toxic, lets go!"
The Ursaring lazily stood and opened its mouth, spiting out a poisonous ball of goop at his friend.

Ver squeezed himself up when the sticky goo made contact and leaked into the pores of his skin. If he had a defined face, he would have turned it up in disgust. A burning sensation tingled against his skin and his breathing became heavy. Even for a Poison type, it hurt terribly.
Meeka clenched her fists together as the ferocious feeling of battle enveloped her. "Ver, Hyper Beam!" she called out towards the Tentacruel.
Ver nodded his head and flung himself at the Ursaring, wrapping his many tentacles around the bear Pokemon in a tight and loving hug. Than, he cracked his beak mouth apart and pressed it against him as an orange orb swelled in his mouth.

Sao grimaced as the bear-pokemon was hit with the hyperbeam at point blank, but then grinned. She learned a trick from her last battle, and was pretty sure it would work.
"Kiruru-Kii, thunderpunch!" She danced in place, glad that the tentacruel had decided to close range with the ursaring, who seemed to be pretty lazy.
Kiruru-Kii seemed to grin as his paw charged up with electricity, ready to deliver a powerful blow against his jelly-fish friend.

Ver threw up his tentacles in front of his body to block the attack but was faltered as the electricity surged through his defenses and combined with the searing pain of the poison. Without his trainer's command, he gave Kiru a large kiss in the form of a Poison Jab.
Meeka just shrugged. So much as for waiting for command...[/size

Got to get that thing away from Kiruru-Kii... Sao started to go through the list of moves Ursaring knew in her head, she looked discouraged. No good way to get out of those tentacles!
She held up her hands in the air as the lightbulb went off in her head.
"Kiruru-Kii! Dig!" Sao looked on, expecting the bear to begin clawing underground... but her spirits fell when the bear instead opened his mouth to vomit up another toxic attack.

Again, Ver was covered in the thick, purple goop and shook it off with a small whimper. It was surely disgusting!
Meeka flailed. "Hyper Beam, Hyper Beam . . . before it is too late!" she called and Ver replied with another charge of the bright, orange beam.

Sao stomped her feet on the ground in frustration. The beam slammed into the legs of the bear, knocking its feet out from under it. A few more of those Hyper beams and they'd be in real trouble. Especially if the pokemon didn't listen to the amateur trainer.
"Kiruru-Kii, Dig! Do it! Come on! Dig!"
The Ursaring, free from the tentacles after its thunderpunch, began clawing at the ground, hurling great chunks of earth through the air towards the Tentacruel.

Ver tried to shield himself again but was severely blinded by the chunks of rock and rubble thrown into his face. He tried to scrap them out of his eyes manually but that only deepened them more into his eyes. It burned more worse than the poison before. Reacting out of panic, Ver shot a Hydro Pump directly into the hole that was just dug.

The hole filled with water quickly, Alice held her breath, hoping that the bear hadn't been knocked out or drowned. Moments later the bear splashed and flailed its way out of the water trap. She breathed a small sigh of relief as she watched the ball of wet fur plop down beside the hole. Her reprieve was short-lived when she quickly remembered that they were in a battle.
"Kiruru-Kii, Toxic one more time!"
The soaked bear-fur, who had started to lick himself dry, stood slowly, shook some of the water off, and spit a wad of purple goo at the tricky jellyfish.
