He's always sitting there in the alley with all the other homeless people you walk by on the shortcut to your city home. He sits there with the disheveled men but never near them. It always seems that the boy is secluded away from the group and by himself. You may or may not notice him, but he notices you in your warm clothes looking clean and well groomed. He always hopes that you'll notice him as time rolls by for the boy.
Will you notice him?
What will you do when you notice the boy who's shivering in the cold with no place to go?

Jamie Williams is a nineteen year boy living on the streets. He's been on the streets sense his parents left him in the city when he was fifteen. The other homeless don't like the boy and always shove him away not wanting him around them. The city I speak of is New York. Where else? It's winter and very cold as snow litters the streets seeping into your shoes and nipping at your nose. You wouldn't be caught dead outside without a jacket gloves and a warm hat. Kinda sucks when you have none of those.
Our mystery man is a hot shot in the big city at the top of his game. Why would he notice a little runt in an alley? Who knows, maybe not every big shot is a jerk. We'll have to find out!

This is how I act so get used to it
Quiet, jumpy, at times easily frightened, when comfortable Jamie can be hyper and touchy a smile always on his face.
I enjoy these kinds of things
Warmth
Candy
Anything soft and fluffy
Boys
Caring people
I usually don't enjoy this
The cold
Mean people
The color yellow
Drunks
In my life I have
Jamie never really had parents that were there for him. They didn't much care for the boy and acted as if he was a waist of their precious time and money. They were taking a trip up to New York to see a show, or so Jamie had been told. One minute he was climbing out of the car adjusting his head phones and the next he was alone with thousands of strangers in the big city. He's been homeless ever sense.

Jason ran a hand threw his blond locks. A cigarette sitting between his lips. He was on his way home from a modeling shoot he had done. "Hmm Larka needs food...I guess I could cut threw the alley" He thought aloud taking a drag of his nick stick. His boots echoed against the pavement. It was a cold winter night. Close to Christmas. He walked threw the alley as several of the old men stared at him. He just looked strait ahead not looking at them.

Like any other winter day in New York City it was snowing and Jack Frost was chomping on your nose. With any given moment the wind would pick up and blow someone’s hat into the skyscrapers above. Though in one little alley the wind seemed harsher and colder to some than it did most. What most people call the street rat alley, or the alley where a good bit of homeless reside.
As usual ratty blankets were being cuddled into by the poor as old oil drums sparked with a warm fire. But even the lowest of groups in society have their own groups, “cliches” that they are comfortable in. There was just one young male who seemed to not fit in to well with any group, not like he was looking for a group to fit into. Jamie was his name and he’s recently been finding out just how cruel life can really be.
Jamie stood up from where he had fallen asleep earlier feeling the freezing air run over his skin were his ratty T-shirt and wholly jeans didn’t cover. He noticed the fire and moved over near it were a small group of older men were huddled around it warming up frost bitten hands. The boy stood next to the fire warming up some until he was roughly shoved away tripping over his own feet and falling hard onto the pavement. “Hey! What was that for!” Jamie yelled as he sat up shaking once more. Several of the men gave the boy glares and then left him alone. “Why don’t you just go home you little whore! We don’t need you hanging around here!” One of the men yelled and threw something wet on Jamie making the boy shriek in shock. “B-but I’m cold.” The boy whined and tears began to seep down his dirty cheeks.

Jason had been close to the commotion. He walked up behind the boy since he was behind him. "you shouldn't pick on children" He said shooting a death glare at the men. He took of his jacket draping it over the others shoulders. "They are sweet and caring to one another regardless of there status, compared to most the filth that im looking at" He said flicking his cigarette into the fire. "come on, your coming home with me" He said grabbing the boys hand and pulling him away from the men.

Jamie jumped and slightly moved away from the voice that suddenly came up behind him. He shivered slightly as the warm jacket fell onto his slender shoulders. The boy looked up watching the other as he spoke to the older men still huddled around the fire. He flinched slightly feeling the man grip his hand then pull him to his feet. Jamie pulled the jacket tighter around his skinny body as he began to shiver less. "Um w-who are you?" he asked softly not noticing the man as he quickly wiped his eyes.

"My names Jason." He said looking back at the other flashing a models smile to the other. "So..What is a kid like you doing out here with a bunch of men like that..your gonna get raped you know" He said as he slowed down his walk when the street had been reached. blond locks swaying a bit as a cold breeze blew threw the city. "My place is about a block away" He informed the boy with a smile.

Jamie blushed lightly and pulled the mans jacket tighter around him. "I'm homeless, that's why I'm out here." he replied softly and leaned into the other as the wind blew. "Your a little late for that Jason." the boy mumbled softly. He sighed softly and looked around as they walked slightly hiding in the others larger coat. The boy shivered slightly feeling the wind at his neck. "Are we there yet?" he asked jokingly giving a small smile.

"well its Christmas eve..no cute kid like yourself should be spending it with those rude people" He said with a smile as they walked. He noticed the boy was still cold. He pulled off his satin scarf wrapping it around the others neck. Sure he was cold himself but he didn't want the boy any colder since he was still soaking wet. "When we get to my place I want you to take a nice hot bath and I will get you something dry to wear..I think I have something.." He said thinking of the extra clothing he used for his models when they came to do shoots.

"It's Christmas Eve?" Jamie asked softly and looked around the street as they walked. He flinched slightly as the scarf was wrapped around his neck. "Aren't you cold too?" he asked quietly looking up to Jason. When the man mentioned him taking a bath he smiled some. "Sure, I'll um take one." he said softly and yawned quietly.

"Mhm." He said referring to the holiday question. "You the one soaking wet. I don't want you getting a cold" He said as they walked. They were walking up the front steps now. "Go take a bath" He told the other after he unlocked the door and let the other in. A white wolf sat in the door way, its ears pressed back and its fangs exposed. It growled seeing Jamie but stopped when it saw Jason. Its ears instantly picked up and its tail wagged. "Hey Larka" Jason said with a smile as he walked up to the dog. The dog licked Jason's face while the boy laughed.

"Yeah I know." Jamie said softly. He walked inside but stopped dead in his tracks and quickly hid behind Jason holding his hands close to his chest. His eyes watched Larka as he pressed himself against the door. "I-is he gonna bite?" he asked softly. He didn't move any closer towards the two making sure he was as far away from the animal as possible.

"She wont hurt you, she just didn't see me so she thought someone broke in" He said smiling at the other as he held the dog close. "Shes my baby" He said proudly. "Shower is down the hall to the left. I will bring you clothes when your finished" He said disappearing into the house. He went to go and feed Larka.
