WE BE RANDOMIZING UP OUR FIELD NAO ;O
A large screen towered over the stadium. A spinner with twelve different battle field locations displayed on the screen, waiting to be choosen. One of the trainers jumps to the control room and presses a big green button to start up the spinner. The screenshots of each battlefield light up as they are passed by the spinner. Finally, the light stops on... Ice field The temperature of the stadium suddenly dropped several degrees (just enough so breath was visual and winter-wear is needed) as the stadium floor shifted for the upcoming battle. The floor was made of extremely slick ice, which would make manuverablity, even simply standing, difficult. Crystal-like pillars reached skyward from the frozen water, reflecting the florescent lights to all sides of the battle-field. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to ICE type attacks Quote: [Now, after we roll what field we are playing (which can be found in the Battle Format) we come in and do a introduction of our trainer. We can let out our pokemon during the intro. I will show you what I mean by intro. Don't take it personally if I sound like I am thinking you don't know anything. ^__^;; I just want to guide you on what I learned. In MULTIPOKEMON battles you don't send out your pokemon in the intro. In ONE VS. ONE, you do. So just go and send out your pokemon in your intro xD;; For now, the field advantage will not count since this is a training battle. We want to keep this as simple as possible to not scare off the newbie. XD]

Kayla walked into the stadium and breathing it in. Ah. It's time for another battle. This time though, she wasn't going to take it too seriously for she knew who was coming to face her and it was someone fresh and new to the whole thing.
They met in the Pokemon Center and this person asked if she could show this person how a pokemon battle works. Of course she agreed.
Kayla offered one of her pokemon to demenstrate on how it can be done.
Kayla walked up onto the platform and hang on to the railing as she waited for the newbie to show up.
"Snookie! Do you wanna play?" Kayla called out to her mew.
Snookie appeared with a quiet 'pop' and laid on top of Kayla's head.
Kayla smiled. "Haha, good. It's been a while since we had a battle, huh?"Quote: As if this moment, I don't know if your character is a girl or boy and yeah. XD Generally, when we battle we keep track of how much HP points your pokemon has left. Right now I am going to roll one 6-sided dice...to see who goes first. You will roll as well after me with your intro. Golly, it's been too long since I battled that I have to look back at my other battles for examples. Haha!

Sao inched her way past the stadium doors, pausing for a second as she did. This was her first time battling, let alone stepping into the grand (and extremely chilly) stadium.
She rubbed one arm vigorously and looked at the borrowed pokeball she held in her hand. Well... here we go. Tossing the ball into the field she started to shout Quintrell's name.
"Qui-... quigon? no... Quiddle? Blast! Vaporeon, go!"
She looked apologetically at Quintrell. Nice first impression, can't even get the poor thing's name right.

Snookie floated idly down to the field, waving at his friend as they were about to play.
"Snookie, let's start off with a Shadow Ball~!"
Giggling, Snookie placed his paws a foot from each other and started to form a dark sphere that grew within moments. After a few seconds, Snookie released the dark ball towards Quintrell for him to catch. HP 1000/1000 Quote: Make sure to keep track of your pokemon's HP points. Remember that what numbers on the dice means: 1= Miss 2-5 = Hit (-100) 6 = Critical Hit (-200) edit: Oh and don't forget to try to act out when your opponent attacks your pokemon. ^__^

"Right! Sorry! Quintrell, Shadow ball right back!" Sao scratched her head, hoping that the vaporeon knew that move, if she remembered right, it could be taught it... She shook her head, Stop thinking so hard, concentrate on the fight!The shadow ball the little tiger-mew threw at Quintrell smacked right into the vaporeon, and he opened his mouth and spit one right back towards the Mew. The game of catch was on! HP 900/1000 Quote: I am surprised, but Shadow Ball is listed under Tm/Hm moves, so thats cool! biggrin

Snookie simply dodged the shadow ball as if it was child's play by teleporting out of it's way. He just giggled into his paws.
"Good work, Snookie!" Kayla grinned. Snookie always took battling as if it was a game, even if the game can hurt him at times.
"Alrighty, let's go for Energy Ball!"
Once again, Snookie created another energy ball but this time instead of being dark and black-purple-ish, it was green. Once it reached full strength, he released it as if it was a bowling ball. 1000/1000 Quote: Darn. XDD Well hopefully it will get better! Good job so far!

Sao flinched as Quintrell's shadow ball missed Mew completely and then a grass-type move plowed right into him. Maybe if I weren't so bad at this that wouldn't have happened... No no! Can't think that way! Focus, Sao!
Determined and full of a new idea, she pointed at the mew.
"Quintrell, enough catch! Close the distance and bite!"
He moved quickly and gracefully across the icy field. On his last bound, the Vaporeon's back legs tensed and he launched himself into the air, aiming with jaws agape at the little blue Mew.

Kayla gasped as Quintrell dashed towards Snookie, much faster than she thought. It's been awhile. Maybe he was training without me. No. Quintrell was just that good. Before the trainer knew it or Snookie for that matter, Quintrell took a good bite at Snookie's tail.
Snookie yelped and threw back his paw, charging it up for a Thunderpunch. He aimed his paw/fist right at Quintrell, who was still holding onto the mew's tail.
"Uh, go ahead. Thunderpunch." Kayla was sweating mentally even in the cold atmosphere of the stadium. Snookie was not happy. 850/1000 Quote: Ouch~! That means it's a hit of 300. Super effective goes first so that means 150. Then critical hit doubles the attack which is 300. XDD;; Quintrell is not having a good night.

Backfired. That's what her plan did, and Sao's mind froze as the mew's charged up fist connected with Quintrell's snout.
The electric shock traveled all over his body and he twitched as he hit the icy stadium floor. Sao looked, panicked, as the electricity dissipated and Quintrell struggled to get back on his feet.
"Quintrell, are you okay to keep going?" She shouted. The mew knew a grass move and an electric move... this was bad news. If he didn't want to keep going, she wouldn't force him. He proudly nodded his head. She smiled.
"Alright then, shadow ball!"

As much as Kayla felt for Quintrell as the Thunderpunch did its damage to him, this was a battle and Quintrell could use as much training as he could to grow stronger and protect his family.
Snookie was tending to his poor bitten tail when the next Shadow Ball hit him at his back, sending him several feet back.
"Snookie!" Kayla shouted as Snookie regained his 'footing' and sent glares at Quintrell. Kayla took a quick look over at Snookie, not too bad. Okay. "Let's do Energy Ball again!"
Once agian, Snookie powered up a energy sphere before releasing it back at Quintrell.

She hissed as the energy ball smacked into the rump of Quintrell as he tried to duck behind an ice pillar. One more good hit and they were done. She could see it in the Vaporeon's eyes and at how his legs wobbled when he stood still.
"We can still win, Quintrell, don't worry! Another shadow ball!"

Kayla winced as Quintrell managed another long-distance Shadow Ball which skimmed at Snookie's back as he tried to escape as well behind an ice pillar. Even that small brush of the attack, the power around the energy ball was still damaging to Snookie.
"Good try, boy! I'll give you a good treat after this battle. Let's try to stop this now! Use Thunderpunch again but for a different purpose!"
Snookie grinned, understanding what Kayla wanted and charged up another punch. This time instead of it charging yellow and orange like before, it was almost white.
Then as fast as a blink of an eye, Snookie teleported out of sight for one second before appearing right in front of Quintrell and doing a uppercut in hope to paralyze him. 550/1000

The paralyzing punch made contact and Quintrell collapsed, his limbs effectively gone numb and unresponsive save for a small twitch every few seconds.
Sao clenched her hands and hoped that Quintrell would be able to move again quickly...
