Ok, not to get down on any musician since I can't read music any longer, but seriously how can people listen to country or rap? It hurts my ears lol. Then again I can just imagine how my metal and techno sound to them.

I hate a lot of the rap seen around but there is good one more so for lyrical content. I would suggest looking into something like Immortal Technique "Dance with the Devil" and "You never Know". Just look for the lyrics on it and you'll understand.
I'd say I like anything besides country. I can even to a small degree appreciate classical knowing the technique it requires.

I like almost everything as long as its not screamy yelly crap and craprap. Old school stuff I love, but not this new Young Jeezy and Lil Wayne s**t. Bullet for my Valentine...I can only..do like..two of there songs.

yep the main street rap just sucks as does a lot of it but songs I suggested I would not even listen to song but just read the lyrics of it. Very good stuff on both of them. They are both of deep thought and non materialistic oriented themes.

I highly doubt you've heard the techno I listen to. I don't do mainstream music at all. Classical is great. haha I love it. It just makes me feel.... better.

classical really touches the emotions. In a movie at a key point of it a classical powerful song makes it epic scene
