Did you see that? Check out that alliteration! We call that kind of awesome 'consonance.'
Anyway! The haiku contest has inspired me to create all sorts of silliness in the way of haiku! Then I thought, "But wait! Why should we only have haiku during this joyous festivous!?" It was then that I, in my infinite genius, decided to open this forum! Come here, enjoy the haiku of others, write your own haiku, share haiku that you've found.
❀What do I write my haiku about?!
Anything and everything! If you can fit it in a haiku you should write it and post it! As long as your haiku follows the haiku pattern, you're all set!
❀How do I write a haiku?
Haiku are measured in syllables. The first line is 5 syllables, the second line is 7 syllables, and the third line is 5 syllables. (if you have too few or too many, don't worry. We won't judge you too harshly! This is just about fun)

Ah ha ha~! I should have checked the main forum sooner! I've been engrossed with the event forum I've neglected to come here. sweatdrop
Lesse a quick haiku off the top of my head:
Zelda Spirit Tracks
Has consumed my entire life
Must go take shower...
XD Wow that was pretty good considering it's off the top of my head. (And no, I don't need to go take one, I am so fresh and so clean clean.)

Everything is fine
lol that's mine XD
Simple and easy, riiight?
At my Language schoo, we had to make a lot of these before XD
And really, as long as you have the right syllables, it's a Haiku XD

Ooh. I like making haikus. Lol. I make them when I'm really bored especially in class. I want to be able to make on in Japanese soon though.
