Today was good. It felt that way to a particular Turkish Van tom, anyway. The air was uncommonly warm for the time of year, the sun was only partially hidden by wispy little clouds, and Koray just felt like singing. Of course, that wasn't new. He seemed to find himself humming or singing whenever he was doing something, just going about his business, or even going so far as dancing on occasion. Life had been treating him well of late. He hadn't gotten himself into trouble lately, no getting chased by dogs, no fights, nothing bad. In addition to all of that, Koray had been spending loads of time with Kaien, whom he had grown very fond of since their first meeting at the comic book store and over each meeting of theirs since. The Van found visiting the forest to be rather refreshing. Plenty of room to breathe out there. Somewhere beneath his cheery mood at getting to see Kaien again, there was a seed of worry and anxiety. Today was the day that he was due to meet Kaien's twin brother, Toshiro. He wanted to make a good impression. Koray had gone a little earlier so he could meet up with Kaien ahead of time. His tail swayed easily behind him with each stride, but the nervous twitch at the tip of his tail was betraying him. Koray came to the place that they agreed to meet and leaned against a tree, using its rough bark to scratch an itch on his back. His golden eyes scanned the immediate area, his ears slowly turning this way and that. To help calm his nerves until Kaien arrived, the tom grinned and began singing Frank Sinatra's You're Nobody Till Somebody Loves You out loud, complete with snapping his fingers with the tempo.

Kaien had been getting nervous about this meeting all day. He hoped that his brother would behave himself, though he knew that he had gotten alot better. He seemed to be improving in his anger skills. He had been getting better about not reacting strongly when provoked, most of the time. Kaien just wished Toshiro would tell him where he goes during the day. None of them knew where he went and Kaien wanted to know whos brown hairs it was that sometimes he found on his twin. He sighed and looked up to see he was getting closer to where he was going to be meeting Koray. Toshiro would be along soon, he had needed to stop by someplace before coming over. He wanted to know what he was doing but didn't ask, his brother would tell him in time.
Kaien looked up as he heard singing, not knowing that he had gotten so close to where Koray was so fast and smiled, blushing a little bit he stuck his hands in his pockets as he looked at Ko who was singing. He walked over to him and smiled as he watched him. "Thats a nice song, i like finding you singing, makes me happy yo know you sing so much." He said with a smile as he sat down and looked across at Ko. "My brother will be along soon...he had to stop someplace for some reason..." He said softly as he looked around then at Ko with a small smile.

Koray smiled as Kaien approached and switched from snapping to tapping out the beat on his chest over his heart. When he finished up, he gave a tiny bow before straightening up, his hand sit resting over his heart. "Well, one can hardly contain themselves when there is something to be singing about as fantastic as this." He drummed his fingers on his chest. "That's my thought, anyway." The tom nodded slowly, glancing around the greenery for any sign of Kaien's twin and dropped his hand. He returned his gaze to Kaien, golden eyes softened with a small, easy smile, shifting himself to sit right next to him. He so wanted to wrap an arm around his shoulders or waist, to just touch him, but with Toshiro due anytime and not knowing his stance on out and out affection, Koray simply brought his knees towards his chest and rested his arms on his knees. He wanted to make a good impression and not come off as just some grabby, hands-on tom cat.
"Well, I'm sure it must be important. Hey, how are you feeling about this? Think it'll go well?" He asked giving Kaien a slightly nervous grin and a nudge with his shoulder, brushing the back of his hand along Kaien's forearm.

Toshiro looked around after leaving Faye and thought about what he wanted to talk to Kaien's boyfriend...if that was really what was going on here. He got the feeling it was but he wasn't sure. He adjusted his work out kimono and rolled his shoulders as he flipped his hair back and looked around for where he was to meet his brother. He hoped that this male was going to be good for Kaien, if he wasn't then Toshiro was going to have a butt to kick. But he was coming to meet them with an open heart and mind, and very calm. He rolled his shoulder and smiled as he thought about it and wondered if he could stay calm, what kind of guy did his brother like? Was this Koray going to be tough? Bigger then Toshiro was getting to be. He frowned not sure if he wanted his twins boy to be bigger then he was. He was getting closer to the spot he was to meet them at and paused, taking a deep breath then walks closer to see his brother and the male that he came to see.
Spicy Marmalade! Now that it's exploded into being, seize hold of this evening's chance.

Kaien looked at Ko and smiled, reaching out and taking Kos hand reasuringly and smiles. "I think it will be just fine. Hes really nice though he looks tough and scary. He might try to intimidate you but don't be too worried please. He means nice, its only cause he cares about me." He said as he held Ko's hand and squeezed it softly. He leaned over and rested his head on Korays shoulder and smiled, purring softly. He heard something and jumped up away from Ko, blushing deeply as he saw that Toshiro had caught them cuddling a little. "Oh hi Hiro...Glad to see you made it." He said as he looked at Ko and smiled. He wasn't sure if he should introduce him or if Ko wanted to introduce himself.

Koray smiled and nodded at Kaien's reassuring words. "I'll be sure to keep that in mind. No worries here. I'll keep my head about me if he tries to intimidate me. Don't worry. I'll be on my best behavior." He returned the squeeze to his hand, curling his free hand over his and Kai's clasped hands. An immensely comfortable expression was on his face as Kaien leaned over to rest his head on his shoulder. Smiling, he placed a kiss on top of his head before leaning his head down to rest on his, content purring rumbling softly in his chest. At hearing the sound of Hiro's approach, he lifted his head and cleared his throat, smoothing his shirt down slightly. Rising to stand, he half turned and offered a hand to Kaien to help his stand too. Koray turned his head to face Toshiro. Dipping his head in greeting, he took a deep calming breath before speaking. "Hello, Toshiro. It's nice to finally meet you. I'm Koray. Kaien's told me nothing but good things about you."

Toshiro looked at his brother and Koray as they got up off the ground, his brother red in the face. He smiled inside, smirking on the outside trying to look tough for them. He nodded to Koray as he introduced himself. "Its nice to meet you as well i suppose." He said as he offered a hand in greeting to the new male. "Wasn't interrupting too much here was i?" he asked with a raised brow at his brother knowing he would make him even more red. He looked over Ko as he stood there and wondered how easy it would be to take him down if he hurt his brother. He tilted his head and smiled. "Mind if i ask a few questions of you both?" He asked with a smile.

Kaien smiled as Ko took it away and introduced himself. He was almost back to his normal color when his brother looked at him and asked if he had interrupted anything...Kaien felt his face turn redder then before and he his his brother in the arm. "Oh hush! Or i'll kill you when we get home! I told him you were nice so show him how nice you can be...don't ask too many questions...i don't want to scare him off..." he said to his brother as he faught back his blush, and the urge to kill his brother. He sighed and looked at Koray. "I'm sorry in advance if my brother makes you scared." he said with a smile hoping to make him more comfortable.

Koray had to clench his teeth together to keep himself from grinning at having Toshiro asking if he had interrupted anything. Only a corner of his lips quirked up slightly as he looked from the red faced Kaien back to his twin. He extended a hand and shook the offered hand, in a friendly manner but firmly. Physically the Van tom didn't have a lot of muscular bulk, but instead leaned towards more of a wiry swimmer's build. His grin finally slipped out a little at Kaien's warnings to his twin brother. "I'm not going anywhere. Don't worry. It'll be okay," He assured Kai before answering Hiro. "I don't mind at all. Ask away. I've left my day clear so I have all the time in the world for this. What do you want to know?" On the outside, Koray seemed to have a good handle on things, but the occasional twitch at the tip of his bottle-brush tail hinted at his slightly lingering nerves.

Toshiro gestures back to the ground as he plops down, legs crossed and hands on his knees as he looks at the boys. "Ok. Thats good then. How long have you guys been...friends and when did you meet? What have you been up to when your not home and how far has this gone? Is this relationship...sexual yet?" He asked with a raised brow at Kaien as he smirked. He knew his brother would kill him but he would take the chance. It was his brother after all and he needed to make sure that his brother was safe and in a relationship, if this was a real one and not some experiment, that wasn't going to get him hurt. "And when do you want to take him to papa Anbu and Yuuki and Mama Thrud?" he asked with a tilt of his head not at all concerned about what his brother might do to him for asking so many personal questions.

Kaien had sat down and watched his brother as he thought about the questions he was going to ask. Just when Kaien thought that he might only ask simple questions he heard the ones coming out of his brothers mouth and looks at his brother in shock as he asks his questions and then feels himself die a little inside as his brother asked if they were sexual! SEXUAL! Was his brother crazy! They were young still...and...did he want that? Did he want to be at that stage later with Koray? He turned a deep DEEP red and glanced at Ko as he reached over and slapped his brothers arm. "TOSHIRO KNOCK IT OFF!! Thats not an ok question to ask now why would you think we were....doing that? Were young still!" he said in shock as he tried to find his breath, wishing he could die from embarrassment.

Koray crossed his ankles as he sank to the ground, sitting Indian-style with his wrists settling on his knees after Toshiro indicated that they should sit. As the questions started coming, his dark brows slowly rose higher and higher, becoming hidden under his bangs. "No holding back, I see." He cleared his throat, even his own face bearing a bit of a blush. "Kaien and I met a month and a half to two months ago. He was inside the comic book store and I was curious about the window display. He invited me in and told me how to enter. We read comics and mangas together, or rather he was teaching me about them. We talked and ended up staying there for a while because of a really bad thunderstorm going through the area. I helped comfort him against the thunder and lightning. Since then, we've spent quite a bit of time together, getting to know each other and having a good time enjoying our time together. As how far our relationship has gone," His golden eyes met Kaien's eyes before looking back to his twin's. "We have not had sex yet. He and I are in agreement that we are too young for that sort of thing. I care deeply for your brother and fully intend on taking my time to build a good, stable relationship with him." A bit of a smile broke past his set expression of surprise and attempt at showing that Toshiro's questions hadn't caught him off guard, softening his expression a degree. "I do love him," he said simply while looking over towards Kaien.

Kaien blushed as he looked at Ko and then looked at his lap. He looked over at him again and smiled happily. "Really Ko? I love you too..."He said blushing deeper as he looked from Ko to Toshiro and blushed some more. "Turn away for a moment Toshiro..." He said with a blush as he scooted closer to Ko and kissed him softly. "Love you too..." he said with a blush as he took Ko's hand and smiled. He nuzzled him a little then turned back to look at Toshiro. "Will you be nicer now please!? Hes not going anywhere so just behave yourself now!" He said with a glare as he held Ko's hand.

Toshiro watched them and then turned with a smirk as Kaien asked them too. "You two are so mushy! All over each other all the time its like daddy Yuuki and Anbu at home!" He said with a roll of his eyes as he waited for Kaien to tell him he could turn around. He thought about how he would like to get mushy like that soon with Faye but...he could wait. She was too cute and shy, he didn't want to scare his poor Princess. He smiled happily and looked over as Kaien asked him if he would behave now. "Oh Dear brother you know me better then that." He said with a smile as he looked over Koray. "How strong are you? Are you much of a fighter? Kaien doesn't like to often so i want to make sure that you can protect him when i'm not around to help him. Can you do that? Or should i teach you? I can stay with you guys alot to watch over both of you but i do want my own alone time sometimes." He said crossing his arms, his legs tucked under himself as he looked over the two of them.

Koray smiled warmly at Kaien's response, his ears drooping comfortably to the sides. He could hardly believe how bright of a red the other was turning. Positively adorable. The tom chuckled and returned his kiss, running his thumb down his chin. "That warms my heart to hear," he whispered back. He curled his hand around Kaien's. Nuzzling him with a smile, the Turkish Van looked back to Toshiro as he turned back around. He grinned at the mention of their parents and set his shoulders as Toshiro continued. Ko definitely made a mental note to ask about meeting their dads someday sooner or later. First things first, though; making a good impression with Kaien's twin brother. "As in pounds of force per strike or approximately, in general. No idea as to specifics, but I can certainly handle my own. I don't fight much, but I don't just lie around letting my muscles atrophy to uselessness. I'm active. I swim, I help Deucalion move things around his shop. I do practice and I have fought if I've needed to." Okay, he was letting his information sponge-ness show with mentioning pounds per blow and muscle atrophy. He wasn't much one for the technical, scientific stuff like Deu was, but he picked things up here and there, even when he wasn't paying complete attention. "You are more than welcome to have your alone time. We shouldn't be needing a chaperon or guardian at all hours."
