Physical Description:
Amery has several tattoos. Most of them are meaningless to other people. She has a large thing on the inside of her left wrist that glows when she unleashes reiatsu. She also has on her back some sort of monster. This tattoo seems to move when she becomes emotional. After several years of becoming closer to her zanpakutou spirit Aoi Tori, she learned that this was her true form.

She looks exactly like the picture, and also dresses the same, though she'll sometimes go about wearing some tight fitting leggings and the top. Her eyes are a light hazel color. On her hands, she wears simple fingerless leather gloves that protect her hands from her boomerang with metal plates in the palm, top of the hand, and top part of the knuckles. These gloves also help her to channel her reiatsu so that if there is an oncoming attack with something sharp, she can stop it from cutting her. She stands at 5'11, rather tall for most woman.

Under her clothes/garb, she has bandages wrapped around her torso, shins, tops of her shoulders and forearms. These act as a hierro type thing to protect her from her own zanpakutou and some other attacks.

Aoi is a very prissy spirit that doesnt like fighting at all. She prefers to sip tea and eat mochi. The only time she enjoys fighting is if Amery or herself have been insulted in any way. She insists that Amery call her Aoihime, though she refuses.

Inner World:
Japanese Tea Ceremony Room. This room is very large and goes on as far as the eye can see. Many woman in kimonos walk around this room serving tea and talking softly among themselves.

Sealed:
In its sealed state, Aoi Tori takes the form of a baton. By pressing a small button hidden on the baton, Amery reveals two blades. The outer part of the baton is metal, so it wont break easily, and can be used in itself as a weapon.

Release Phrase:
Danpen - Shred

An explosion of blue and gold reiatsu surrounds Amery, creating a large crater in a 20 foot radius around her. Her reaitsu surrounds and tries to suffocate the opponent, pressing down on them and trying to blow them away. Instead of being a baton, it becomes a large, 7 foot tall blue boomerang. Amery basically uses it in its shikai state to smash stuff that's in her way. While looking fragile and breakable, the boomerang is extremely strong, and made out of metal on the inside, and a hard wood exterior. The curve of the boomerang is sharpened, as are the very edges of it. The boomerang weighs in at a hefty 120 pounds, meaning that if there's a person on boomerang contact of any sort, someone will feel the pain. Though most dont know this, her shikai and bankai's element is electricity and wind, though the latter is just a side effect of swinging a giant boomerang around.

Attacks:
Kaisen Nakigoe -- Battle Cry

Amery throws the boomerang at extreme speeds towards the opponent, but far enough to where it wont hit them. It is used as a distraction, and gets its name because of the sound it makes as it slices through the air. While the opponent is distracted with the sound and speed of the boomerang, Amery uses a shunpo to appear behind them and attack with her longsword.

Boutou Osanago -- Boom Baby

By forcing her shocking reiatsu into her boomerang, Amery can use it to make things explode. The boomerang itself doesnt explode, just makes anything it touches explode. If she is holding it and uses it to smash into an opponent, they will be sent back and feel the shock throughout their body that may cause temporary paralysis. (only lasts 3 posts at the most)

Dendou Shougeki -- Electric Shock
If in some sort of trap, or being held by someone, Amery can send electricity throughout her body and into whatever is touching her. This leaves her in a sort of numb state for a few minutes (3 posts at the most), and makes her kinda slow, depending on how much electricity she uses. (kinda like if you sit on you foot for a while, and you get that pinprick feeling)

Shouheki -- Barrier

Amery charges the particles in the air to create a barrier around herself and anything near her. Her range varies from 50 feet around herself, to 25. [example from 1:12 to 1:28] The closer to herself the barrier is, the stronger it is. She can use this to cover her body, assisting with her bandages to create a strong hierro type thing.

Bankai Title -
Myaku Danpen, Aoi Tori--Pulse and Shred, Blue Bird

Amery pulls out her boomerang and chucks it at the opponent, then says the release phrase, which causes it to explode in a bright flash of light. Reiatsu surrounds her and presses down on everyone and anything near here, trying to suffocate them and all that, same as in shikai, only more powerful now. Even most captains will have a problem staying upright when Amery's bankai is activated.

A swirl of blue and gold reiatsu surrounds her and seems to crackle for a few seconds, then she can be seen with a large, moving boomerang. This boomerang is about 8 feet in length, and has three blades. Amery does not usually hold the boomerang, it just sort of floats, though she can touch it. In her bankai, she dons on armor. A pair of thick rubber gloves cover her hands, protecting her from getting shocked by her own attacks; yes, her old ones disappear during bankai.

**All attacks that could be used in shikai can still be used. They are now enhanced in speed, accuracy, and strength. Getting hit by any WILL be dangerous, no matter your rank.**

Basho -- Location (Side effect of shikai/bankai, not an actual attack)

If any of Amery's attacks hit other than Ryuoukan Bakuhatsu Ranpu, it leaves a tracking like signal that goes throughout the opponents body for the remainder of the fight. This means that while in her bankai, she can either track the opponent down by sensing her own reiatsu, or use it to hone in on the opponent for more accurate attacks.

Ryoukan Bakuhatsu Ranpu -- Massive Explosion of Lights

Exactly what it sounds like. Amery charges tiny balls of reiatsu into each part of the boomerang and throws it towards the opponent, but not at them. Upon command the balls fire off and spin around the area, hitting whatever they possibly can. To protect herself from her own attack, she usually has a Shouheki set up.

Ken Torappu -- Blade Trap

Amery takes all the blades that are hidden on her person and places them in places on the ground around the opponent. When at least 5 of the blades have been placed, she tosses the boomerang into the air and whispers Trampa, which causes electricity to shoot down from the boomerang and down into the metal of the blades, effectively trapping the opponent. The boomerang stays in the air, and the blades cannot be removed unless you can somehow withstand being shocked and burned by electricity. While seeming easy to escape from because of the wide gaps between the blades, it is not, because the electricity works like Ryūjin Jakka's Hell Flame; it spreads to block any way of exiting. It takes Captain rank or above to escape this.

Special Accessories:
An English longsword that is strapped to her back at all times. The hilt looks as it does in the picture, and the blade is extremely sharp and heavy, making it hard for most to carry or even attack with. She usually uses it to unleash blasts of reaitsu with swings, but that is rare. This sword is in no way shape or form, a zanpakuto.

Always has at least 7 throwing knives hidden on her body.

Skills
Excellent at hand to hand combat, along with knife throwing and regular sword fighting. Also very good at lifting heavy things because of her shikai and Longsword.

Abilities
No kido, though she is very good at performing reiatsu based attacks and defenses.

Personality:
Very sarcastic, almost to the point of being flat out mean. She is also very blunt and to the point. Her face is usually devoid of emotions, though she's quick to show anger and joy at most things. She is by no means a stone wall, but that doesnt mean she's exactly a Flower either. When drunk, she can become highly flirtatious, or highly angry. It really depends on who she's with.

Though seeming emotionally and mentally sound, Amery is pretty much the opposite. Some of the slightest things can send her into random fits of extreme anger, depression, or insanity. These fits last only a few hours, but can be very bad for herself and anyone around.
Some of the things that trigger these reactions are mentioning: Casper, the poisonous plant/flower nightshade, talking about anything of someone or her own past, certain foods and plants, and going to the human world and being there for more than two hours.

Biography/History:
Back when she was alive, she fell in love with a man by the name of Casper. Casper Nightshade. Her father abhorred him though, and would not allow Amery to see her love. This, and also having to wear painful clothing because of her mother, led her into a slow spiraling depression. Casper bribed one of her many maids one night to deliver a message to her lady. The letter read:

My love, my all, my other half
please do not fear for my safety
I am going to free you from your prison
From your barbarian parents
From your too tight clothing
I love you
and forever will
Never let another man into your heart
for I will kill him with my bare hands if you do


Soon after she had received the letter, Amery's spirits soared. She knew with every fiber of her being that Casper was going to be her prince in shining armer. He would bust into her house and carry her away so that they could be wed and settle down with lots of children. But, it was all in vain. Her mother was found dead in their Family Area, poisoned with arsenic. Casper was framed for it, just because Amery's father had no one else to blame. Of course, this was not true.

Casper was set to die on Amery's birthday. She watched as he was hung, but shed not a single tear. She locked her heart up that day, and has not let anyone in it since being alive.

Several years later, on the eve of her 22nd birthday, she was raped and killed in an alley on her way back from buying trinkets for Casper's grave.


~Things Most Dont Know~
Amery likes blowing things up, which is why she is almost always already in shikai when walking around the Soul Society.
She dislikes fighting unless provoked, or there will be a reward like booze, free food, or men.
